In college, I worked with a Packers fan who had ties to people in the NFL. This was back when I hated cocky Deion, and he said, “Deion is supposedly a normal guy, but when the cameras are on, he goes into “Prime Time” mode to play things up.”

I’ve seen some docs leave a hell of a mess at the end of a procedure and just walk out of the room. I can’t be that guy, plus I might forget and just push away from the dinner table and leave my plate, etc…I always help out, try to take care of my own sharps, wrap up all the bloody 4×4’s, etc…
Yup, I always put my stuff in the dishwasher. Otherwise I feel like a lazy lib.
My wife is very particular about things, including loading the dishwasher. I consider it a victory if I don’t get scolded once per dishwasher loading cycle, I have learned a few things in thirty years together. Now I’ll never be perfect, I am a man after all.
Opposite in my house. My wife drives me fucking nuts when she doesn’t put dishes in the dishwasher.
I think he means that he doesn’t load the dishwasher the “right way.” My wife and I load it totally different and since my way is the right way I refuse to change.
She used to never even load the damn thing. Come in & the sink is full. I even got out the tape measure one time & measured from the sink to the dishwasher to prove that it was only 30 inches further to just put shit in the dishwasher.
She’s gotten better.

Yes, I don’t load it the “right way” sometimes. Sometimes in an argument she’ll drop the ol’ “you can do your own laundry” line which never works for her as she can’t stand how I do laundry. I swear she does a load at least once a day, when the stepkids were home it was more like twice a day. Me I’m a proponent of the one big load theory.
I don’t load the dishwasher the right way either. We have come to a compromise. She loads it, I unload it.
We had a YUGE argument when we got married.
I’m a staunch believer that sharp knives go in tip down. She wasn’t. I cut myself pulling silverware out one day, we had a discussion. Her argument went “well if you pay more attention……..”
I made it a point to leave the toilet seat up for the next week, she finally bitched at me about it, saying she didn’t appreciate getting a wet ass.

That reminds me of an observation I made while living in dorms for three years. My first year I probably was as bad as anyone as I enjoyed the newfound freedom from my parents strict supervision, but the other two wings of our floor were girls so it wasn’t too bad. The next two years though it switched to two wings guys and one wing girls and the common area would just turn to trash over the weekend. Time lapse photography would have been hilarious, Friday afternoon pristine but by Monday morning ground in slices of pizza, ripped up newspapers, stale beer cans everywhere, vomit sometimes and yes even a turd once. Those years I didn’t spend much time in the common area, I was a keener and either spent all day at the library, went home, or hung out with my GF. Shoot I was often in bed by 10 pm.
I used to clean softball diamonds for summer work when I was in college…The girls bathrooms were the worst, much much worse than the guys.

I’m glad I carry cleaning equipment in my pickup.
One of those great family reunion stories that come up every. single. time. is that I was playing on the beach at a lake in Alberta during a family reunion, apparently decided I had to go, and was in the process of dropping shorts to poop on the beach. My mother got to embarrassingly and breathlessly race with me bawling to the outhouse while I tried to pull my shorts down halfway through the process.

We were all shitting on Jalen Hurts last year and they are very similar players who had very similar season before they broke out. Hurts got his #1 WR in Brown, now Fields gets DJ Moore. Fields is still young, im not saying he’s played great but people around here shit on young mobile QBs wayyy too often and soon. Im not saying he is the next Hurts, but he could be, and if he is, Vikes are in for trouble.

Davenport is an OLB in this scheme, not a DE/DT like Tomlinson was. We have eight OLB’s on the roster now BTW. This site seems to update pretty frequently. Not sure why they’re showing Willekes as a FA still, but for the most part it’s very accurate.

Hunter and Davenport are 4-3 DE.
They do very well with their hands in the dirt. They’re too fast for G to handle and do well against the T.
Having one of these guys with Z behind em would be a scary situation for the OL.
annnnnnd then…… the Flores scheme usually has a traditional 3-4DE which is usually that guy around 300lbs and they have the quicker fast DE. this is where Hunter and Davenport can fit in depending on the down.

If Cook is smart and sees the deals being given out to RBs and how many are available right now, he’d be dumb not to accept some sort of pay cut. He could take a pay cut and still earn more than what he will on the open market.

Might not be, but if the Vikings want to bring another back in, why wouldn’t they approach Cook first. I’m guessing they have an amount they are comfortable or able to pay this year. Offer that to Cook and if he says no, so be it. If he accepts it, great.

Unknown if he will or if the Vikings even want him to. They might be happy with what they have and plan on drafting another. My only point is that they should at least ask him to take a pay cut before cutting him if they plan on signing somebody. You aren’t out anything if he says no.
