VIKINGS NEWS –
The Vikings are hosting WR Rondale Moore on a visit today.
NFL News –
The NFL world seems to be waiting to see what Aaron Rodgers is going to do. Surprise, surprise.

Eli & I did our first podcast, we’ll post it tomorrow. We’re gonna make it an ongoing thing, I’ll try to talk less in the future.
‘I’ll try to talk less in the future.’
Thought that was the point of podcasts, talking.

“You can say this stuff when you are retired. You can say whatever you want”.
Loved it.
NLV mentioned something earlier today about a federal judge over stepping his authorities.
To this end and for those of you so inclined, Mark Levin’s opening discussion was an excellent review of this topic.
Well worth a review in my opinion.
Opening discussion on tonight’s show.
The Judge ordered to the airplane carrying the detainees to turn around and bring them back to the US. But all 261 were dropped off in El Salvador.
Trump replied. “We did not defy a court order. The order came too late, and illegals were already in international airspace,” Sweet!

Sam I Am gets one year guaranteed at $37.5 million.
Seattle can cut Sam after one year with no further money paid to him
@“Vikings need to tag and trade Sam for $41 million….”@
Good thing that wasn’t tried.
Think Sammy is going to have a tough 2025, given player depth.
Yep. I don’t see him and Seattle being all that good.
9-8 ish.
The experts are mostly dumbasses
The Douche looking for Sam-I-Am money, $30-35M evidently.
Hope some other poor schmuck of a team pays it.
https://bolavip.com/en/nfl/nfl-news-aaron-rodgers-reportedly-requests-huge-salary-from-steelers-vikings-or-giants
If we pay him that kind of money, I may not watch the Vikings this year.
Thanks for posting the thread, bow!
Kiddo and I took an impromptu trip to Deadwood to do a little hiking on Friday. Had a blast.
Diggs getting desperate, looking for go back to the team that he forced a trade from just a year ago.
Wentz, Winston, Flacco, Tannehill. Those are the best available free agent quarterbacks right now.
With the way they’re building depth at other positions, I would expect them to pull off a trade to try to find a better option for backup quarterback.
Trading for one opens up a world of possibilities.
Plus how much are they willing to give up? 1st Round pick? 3rd?
Someone older on an expiring contract?
Younger QB who has a few years left??
Maybe there is a bidding war going on for Flacco since he seems to be an option for Us, the Giants and then Steelers.
https://thevikingage.com/minnesota-ikings-easy-veteran-quarterback-alternative-aaron-rodgers
Yeah, I think we all figure Rodgers is gonna be way too expensive, and really a big distraction. He’s never been known as a mentor, isn’t going to want to be a backup, and will want a sizeable contract. No go across the board. Flacco fits the bill far better, which is why I find it odd we haven’t signed him yet.
Truth.
Rodgers isn’t coming here, 0.5% chance at best. It’s not even worth discussing, IMO. He’ll be in Pittsburgh.
Flacco is 40, I think they’ll want somebody younger than that, just in case he does have to see the field.
I honestly expect them to trade for a QB2.
I’d be shocked if they traded.
Makes a much sense as any of the clickbait theories that we have heard.
“Insiders”. Saw one where Wilson would be backup. I’m with you, wait and see.
At least there has been any ‘Tom Brady Un-Retiring’ talk this time around.
Saw one insider who said he thinks fins would trade for JJ. Worried about Tua. Man you see some dumb takes. Trying not to click on it.
The Ravens and Cooper Rush have agreed to a two-year contract worth up to $12.2 million.
One less option for us.
Maybe a little bit pricy for KAM seeing that he only paid $10M last year for Sam-I-Am?
No, 12M for two years, vs 10M for one.
Point.
The chief judge for the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., James Boasberg, temporarily blocked the deportations of Venezuelan gang members who were in mid-flight out of the country, ordering the plane to turn around. This judge issued a 14-day temporary restraining order. This will block the government from deporting individuals in U.S. immigration custody who were affected by Trump’s proclamation under the Alien Enemies Act.
Liberal District judges impeding the President’s efforts to rid the country of violent gang members. Sick of these ass clowns, making us less safe, as political tools of the left.
I suspect Biden and Obumma judges will slow things down until the cases get to the Supreme Court. Once the conservatives on the court slap them down the administration can continue to fix things and the Libtards can continue their meltdown.
It is appalling though that these judges are conducting themselves in this manner. The American people deserve far better. This guy should be impeached, as well as the other kangaroo court ass-wipes who are participating in the the feckless pursuit of defeating Trump.
I used to watch some YouTubes of the Judiciary Committee hearings. But I would get frustrated at how bad the nominees were but the Ds would vote them thru anyway.
They were asked to list their 5 more significant cases and one could only list 3 cases, two didn’t see the inside of a courtroom and the third was a traffic case. I got so frustrated knowing that the moron became a judge because he supported woke causes not because he knew what he was doing that I stopped watching the process.
Sickening
Most of the videos were of the Republicans on the committee pointing out how unqualified or radical the nominees were and trying to convince at least one D to vote no on them so that they could be blocked.
Occasionally they managed one but maybe 1 in 50-100 only.
Believe Boasberg was the FISA judge that approved the fake Russia hoax from the FBI to snoop on Trump.
Regarding our QB situation, McCarthy would benefit from a veteran presence, who can still actually get it done if needed. The list of QB’s available I thought might be a good fit in this role has dwindled significantly, and we continue to sign players who are not QB’s. Flacco might be a good fit, and there is another QB that might also be able to fill the role adequately that no one is talking about. Ryan Tannehill.
Hope that whatever plan KOC is working is succeeds. I have no clue what it is other than he is negotiating a better price. Who that might be with is beyond me but I trust him to work it out.
He is been better with FAs than with drafting although he has gotten better there.
It’s puzzling to me that we haven’t seen any kind of news regarding the QB2 situation.
I don’t mind KAM keeping close to the vest. No point showing his cards to the rest of the NFL.
Irritating part is since no one knows then the speculation/rumors/clickbait is running rampant.
I guess I will just try to float along in wait and see mode.
Yeah, we’re all having to float along and just wait and see. It just seems so glaringly odd that there hasn’t been any emphasis on bringing anyone in, even for a looksee. They MUST have a plan, just really weird that this seemingly pressing need hasn’t been addressed already.
Well since this isn’t about ME it is more of a thought puzzle.
I will try to read the tea leaves but KAM and the Vikings don’t owe me an answer or any news hints.
I do however retain the right to second guess whatever they eventually work out. I will do so not knowing any of the pertinent details as any fan would.
I remember him against us running really hard and being tough to bring down. It was very frustrating, glad he is on our side now.
Atlanta squatting on Kirko.
So nice to see Kirko get the Kirko treatment.
The $10 million bonus isn’t paid until 2026.
Falcons are trying to set up a future trade to a desperate QB needy team.
At least Kirko is fulfilling his dream of “retiring a Falcon”, for now.
With the Vikings trading for Mason, I firmly believe that Kwesi will trade back or out of round 1 and get a second and a third, for a total of 6 picks.
I feel like they have addressed most of the big needs via FA and will now solidify depth and probably take a DB with their first pick.
We basically just traded ed Ingram for Jordan mason. That’s awesome.
I have not heard anyone on here complain yet so it must be a good trade.
Love the Jordan Mason trade!!
Can he play QB or Guard?
Don’t need him to! We have the QBOTF and we got GUARDSSSS
Like to see Flacco. 4-5 mil prob.
Yeah, Flacco fills the bill. What we need is someone who can mentor McCarthy, and fill in if he sprains an ankle or something.
Flacco
Rush
Wentz
I would like to get Rush, he was able to win when black Kirk Cousins went down.
He would be decent, but one would think KAM would have gotten him by now if he was high on the priority list.
Maybe he is plan C/D/E or whatever plan we are down to now.
5’11”, 223lbs, 4.58 40 back at his combine in ’22.
Power back with some speed?
I seem to remember him running with attitude against us.
A decent compliment to Jones it would seem.
Apparently we aquired some RB dude from the 49ers and gave him a 2 year deal, a certain Jordan Mason. He any good?
He was a backup RB to McCaffery. 25 years old, and we gave him a pretty good chunk of change.
We’re sending a 2026 6th-round pick and this year’s No. 160 pick to the 49ers, receiving Mason and this year’s No. 187 pick in return.
He averages 5.3 yards a carry for his three year career in 45 games, so that’s good.
He went for 100 and 1td vs the vikes last year.
I love this trade. Fills a major NEED
Sounds like good trade. Gave a 2026 6th and swap0f 2025 6th rounders. Or something like that. Prob would have cut Ingram but got a 6th for him. Seems ok.
Sounds good, so Queasy has another fine trade in the books. Needs to kill FA anyway, because he can’t draft, as it seems. Cine…
9ers fans are not happy with the trade which is good to see
Nice, it was definitely a good move, then.
So evidently The Douche wants to sign with the Vikings and reports are if they don’t offer him a contract he will probably retire.
https://www.foxnews.com/sports/aaron-rodgers-could-retire-he-doesnt-get-offer-from-specific-team-report
That looks like just an opinion column from a famous agent.
I am good with The Douche retiring, and if the Vikings are the cause all the sweeter.
Same
Players is funny. Doubles, triples and a quad. Players throwing clubs. good stuff.
You sign a-rod it’s about $$. You are also telling JJ he’s a backup. I don’t want this to happen.
So KOC gets to decide who we hire as QB 2? If it’s Rodgers, two thirds of the fan base will get ready to tear our HC of the Year a new one 😂
KOC is the most qualified person to make this decision. By far.
I agree. Curious who Kumbaya Kev will pick as his next project.
As it should be.
But if The Douche is the best one for the job but KAM decides that he wants too much to do the job then KOC better have his 2nd choice ready.
I.E. If The Douche wants $32M for 1 year and we only have $32M in cap space that will not work.
Only the top 51 count towards the cap in the off-season.
The Vikings have 61 players under contract, which means 8 more cuts have to happen. It could be done.
I just want to watch the world burn, so hire Rodgers already, KOC!
4 questions the Vikings need answers to before any signing of The Douche.
Those questions should have been asked weeks ago at the least.
https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/article/2025-nfl-free-agency-before-potentially-pursuing-aaron-rodgers-vikings-need-to-know-if-he-would-step-aside-for-jj-mccarthy-045355952.html
Yep, this covers the territory, and yes, the Vikings (if they were interested at all in Rodgers) should already have the answers at this point in time. I maintain KAM isn’t interested in fessing up a chunk of change to bring Rodgers in though.
I suspect that they already have the answers and that the answers do not equal bringing in The Douche.
I suspect that the ‘waiting on the answer from the Vikings’ narrative is just a tactic from his camp to try to heat up the bidding war for his services between the Giants and the Steelers.
But I have already used up my two right answers for today.
Laughing… well I think you’re right on this one too.
BTW both Teddy Bridgewater and Case Keenum are available…
I have no idea if either of those are better or worse than the other available options.
KOC can make the call on who the best fit is.
They seem to be waiting for something or someone to be available. No idea what that might be. They have $32.8M of cap space currently per Over The Cap.com
They have $32.8M of cap space, but I don’t know how many more players they need to sign. They started the season with 25 free agents. Don’t know how many vacancies we have right now.
I would love to see teddy retire in purple, even if he doesn’t get a starting job.
YES!!! we won free agency….let’s go hang a banner!
Vikings Strong Free Agency Lands Team Top Grade
But Colin Coward said the Vikings have the worst roster in the NFC north.
This is getting interesting…
I believe Tommy P. on anything Vikings far more than I trust Russini. Tom says it’s not really a big topic of discussion for the Vikings.
The only question is “Why have they not signed a QB2 yet?”
Or,
”why haven’t the Vikings come out and said they aren’t interested in Rodgers”
They don’t need to address every rumor.
Plus, I believe they did, in a way. They used their man, Tom P., in my opinion, to very kindly say it’s not much of a consideration. If you listen to the way Tom explained it, you could tell he was trying to say “No, Russini is wrong” in a very nice way.
I am spending my Saturday doing some soul searching, trying to determine if I can actually cheer for the Vikings with Aaron Rodgers as their QB.
Have to look for the positives….he had the right stance on vaccines.
So the media still thinks Rodgers wants to be a Viking, and he hasn’t pursued a place on the Giants or the Steelers roster, because he’s waiting to hear back from Minnesota. I guess this is a bit of a pickle for KOC. He’s planning on starting McCarthy, which would put Rodgers in the backup role. Rodgers is going to want a suitable payday though. So how much do you spend on the backup? Also, what if Rodgers comes in and is clearly better than McCarthy? Then what?
Something sort of strange about this. They let Sam “shop” and if his best offer was fairly low, gthey were prepared to match it. Do you think they were bringing back Sam to be the backup? Not like they named JJ the starter.
And now they are evaluating the QB situation. And further, Rogers is in the mix. He’s not coming here to be a backup.
I just can’t see KAM spending the money on Rodgers, regardless. He might, but I think the Vikings pass on Rodgers. They might send him a note, with an unofficial lowball offer, but they aren’t spending $35M a year on him.
Logic would dictate a NO on The Douche.
But logic does not always win out.
So we have to worry until it is no longer a possibility.
What if they could get him for 30?
For 1 year for a backup position??
Doubt either side would go for that.
I think KAM is done with spending big money on a QB. I bet he drafts McCarthy’s replacement next year. I think he is looking for someone he can get for much cheaper than $30M. That said, he seems in no hurry to bring anyone in, or make any offers, which is odd.
All the media is saying Rogers is holding up the Steelers and Giants awaiting the Vikings decision.
No way he is coming here as a backup and no way vikings would consider him as a backup.
Somebody is thinking about something here.
Yeah, I almost think the media is missing wide right on this. I think teams are thinking his asking price is too high, and they’re waiting for that price to come down. I’m sure Rodgers thinks he’s worth at least $40M a year.
Just read that the Vikings are the one one of the three teams that have not offered The Douche a contract.
https://thevikingage.com/minnesota-vikings-fans-smile-latest-aaron-rodgers-report-nfl-insider
Went to lunch with the wife, and picked up some milk. Watching the golf tournament now. Boy, the wind is wreaking havoc on the guys now.
‘picked up some milk’
Couldn’t afford eggs huh?
Laughing… damn that Trump guy for driving up prices…
Did someone forget about the weekend?
Tis the Usual.
Or the New Normal if you prefer.
Hey JR, how about that round yesterday from Justin Thomas? After he blew up on Thursday, I thought he was out of the tournament. Then he shoots 62, ties the course record, makes the cut, and gets into a position to move up the leaderboard today.
It was an amazing turn around. Guess on any given day…….
Now today is gong to be interesting. If they get gusts up to 35 mph scores are going up.
Should be a good watch.
I’d shoot 62 on 17.
Laughing. There was a course in Maryland that every hole was a simulation of a famous hole from around the world. They had a replica of the 17th at TPC Sawgrass there, and the day we played was cold in early March. The hole was playing 155 yards, and I hit a hybrid to about 25 feet. I was ecstatic.
Crowed leader board. Bhatia is melting down. What are winds for tomorrow?
Winds will be a little better I think tomorrow. Around 10 to 20 mph. Also chance of thunderstorms late in the day.
Dem’s are trying to “defund” DOGE, to stop them. I mean what a great political strategy there. Taxpayers are furious with the spending DOGE is identifying and trying to cut, and the Dem’s are trying to stop it. Brilliant. That will definitely work to your advantage in the midterms.
They caught Chuckie Schumer between a rock and a hard place.
They could shut down the Gov and give DJT lots to work with over who got paid (essential) and who didn’t or they could pass the GOPs CR.
Now the Ds are fractured and lost. It is a glorious thing to watch.
As you know the career bureaucrats know how to play the game. And there’s pork everywhere, people and programs.
But I predict this is how they will play it. Say you need info about social security and call today, It’s poor service and may take hours. But, after cuts, it will take DAYS to get an answer. They will make every cut, the personnel ones, as painful as possible for ordinary Americans trying to get some type of service. And this will get played up to the max by the Dems and the media.
Happy Ides of March. The day in 44 BC Julius Caesar was murdered.
Yond Cassius has a lean and hungry look.
He thinks too much; such men are dangerous.
We certainly don’t have to worry about today’s politicians thinking too much; but, for sure they are dangerous.
Oh they ‘think’ all right.
About how to get more money, power, how to game the system.
People nor politicians change very much.
There you go, two in a row. On a roll SoCal.
I guess I am done for today being right.
Won’t stop me from posting my usual blather however, not to worry.
That is what he gets for trying to be crowned King.
Romans were very much against having a King.
You are correct.
It is pretty early for being right.
That only leaves one more for today.
#brokenclock
Laughing… I faith in you SoCal. You can do it!
Can’t get a handle on JJ’s progression from injury. Some fine, others not fine. Maybe clickbait shit.
Yeah, not much news, and sketchy at best. There is a whole health and fitness crew that will whip him into shape though. A strength and conditioning routine is pretty much mandatory.
I am not worried about his physical fitness.
The book learning he had all year to accomplish.
His processing speed will be the determiner.
From what little I watched of him at Michigan, he didn’t process much. He has a very good arm, and Brady gives him props though. I’d think he would know, as well as Harbaugh his college coach and a former NFL QB. I’d guess he will be able to make throws and complete passes at a decent rate. We have a great set of skill position players, so he will have a dependable cast around him. Finally, it looks like the O-line might be better this year, so both our running game and pass protection should be be stronger.
Bottom line is, McCarthy should be fine. He should do well.
I don’t think ‘he didn’t process much’ at Michigan because he couldn’t. Harbaugh had a very good defense and running game and he leaned into those. Old school, he had more trust in those too than he did in the passing game. Not because JJ (QB) was not capable but coach knew what could be accomplished with the old style.
Totally agree SoCal.
Colin Cowturd said we will finish last in NFCN. Just so you dudes know.
Colin Cowturd is accurate.
Is KAM setting us up for the, “we had no other options but to sign Rodgers”……
Potentially
Cooper Kupp to SeaChickens.
One less worry for us.
https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/article/2025-nfl-free-agency-wr-cooper-kupp-agrees-to-3-year-45-million-with-seahawks-223611340.html
I mucked up about Drew Lock. He signed with the Giants on March 14, 2024. Misread it. He’s a free agent still. My bad.
Made a mistake?
Welcome to the club.
#grin
Don’t know enough about the available QBs to know who might be the best option.
I leave those mundane details to my staff of KOC and KAM.
Laughing… my current staff consists of my wife and her three cats.
3 cats?
Thats odd.
I co-exist in time and space with her cats. They are all good kitties, gentle souls.
But 3 is not divisible by 2 and therefore odd.
Indeed…
If the Vikings do sign either Rodgers or Kirko as the veteran depth QB, it would save me $300-$400. There is no way I pay to attend a game if they do this. Because with my luck, JJ would get a hangnail pregame, and one of the QBs I hate would start.
Not risking that.
Cousins isn’t in the mix. Rodgers might be.
Any of these guys from last year we should bring back? I wouldn’t mind Gilmore or Griffin coming back.
LT Cam Robinson
CB Stephon Gilmore
CB Shaq Griffin
G Dalton Risner
DT Jihad Ward
DT Jonathan Bullard
RB Cam Akers
WR Brandon Powell
CB Fabian Moreau
LB Kamu Grugier-Hill
T David Quessenberry
G Dan Feeney
I thought Bullard looked good at times last year. Solid rotational guy still with an upside imo. Bring him back if it’s cheap. Also appreciated Akers – felt like he showed good burst and was a capable fill in for Jones.
If they sign Akers now, how are they going to trade for him again?
Sign him, cut him, and then trade for him?
i’d like to see:
Griffin
Ward
Risner
Akers
the others i’m not dying for
I don’t think Risner is coming back. Too old. Bring in a young guy for the backup for now.
that’s fine with me, i haven’t looked at the “depth chart” so don’t fully know what we have for the line besides the starters
We got him boys.
Not big but looks versatile.
Not seeing it anywhere else so probably fake.
Just saw visiting.
idiot
PHYRE KWESI!!
Hooker inbound
LOL, good one.
Man, do I remember the good old days of riding in the station wagon with my young sister while my parents chain smoked in the front. Back when you made ashtrays in shop and they were fondly received by parents, grandparents, etc…
Here’s what media says we need to know.
The Vikings are having discussions about what they want to do at quarterback and if they want Rodgers.
Rodgers is giving them time and waiting to hear back.
The Vikings have yet to make a decision.
Rodgers wanting to follow Favre’s path to the bitter end.
If the Vikings are waiting till now to ‘have discussions about what they want to do at QB’ that would be borderline incompetence. That should have been resolved weeks if not months ago.
I have seen other reports that they are waiting for KC to be released so they can pick him up on the cheap since he already knows the offense.
Both would have to agree to be a backup and mentor, that does not seem to be in The Douches DNA and KC is not there yet since he asked to be traded ‘so he could be a starter’.
KC isn’t coming back. KAM burned that bridge for good and all.
I agree that not having a plan at QB going into free agency seems like a whole lot of incompetence. Just doesn’t compute.
Hopefully he threw a stick of TNT into the ashes. Bringing back your former starter to be the backup seems like a bad plan. Just call Flacco and be done with it.
I don’t know what they’re waiting on Bow. Clearly Sam wasn’t coming back, and very likely Jones. You would have thought all off-season they would have been game-planning for this situation, and ready to make a move. What are they waiting for?
Waiting for Flacco to give them a decent price or for somebody else to get released. I don’t see Wentz or Winston being a good fit. Drew Lock is the other interesting one to me.
Lock signed with the Giants today.
Missed that one. I guess they’re not signing Flacco then.
They have a plan.
Plan was JJ to start, and Jones or Mullens as a backup. Both of those guys bailed because they know they will not get a chance to start here.
Rypien is the backup for now.
I think they knew that Darnold, Jones, and Mullens were moving on. Mullens never showed he could get the job done, and they were finished with him after three years. I guess we’ll see what happens. Maybe they something cooking.
You copied and pasted that from a tweet btw. Please site your sources. I saw the same thing word for word this morning.
Stay on the porch son.
I think they already signed a new center, but this would be hilarious.
“5-year every game starter”
He missed a lot of games for injury I thought… but that aside, Bradbury hasn’t been great for our O-line. If the Packers see it differently, go for it!
Shh, we’re supposed to act really sad about the idea of the Packers upgrading so much on their o-line.
Oh crap… yeah.
They better not even THINK about taking Bradbury from us! Dammit!
What!? Good ol’ Bradbury a Packer? Never ever!
Certainly not great.
I would say decent except for the Bull-Rush Weakness that defenses knew about and exploited.
If that was fixable I suspect he would have been done over the past 5 years. I am glad that we finally found an upgrade.
Harrison lined up on him and licking his chops would be sweet!
Trey Lance a good option for our backup QB?
Other options left are Carson Wentz, Joe Flacco, Jameis Winston, Drew Lock, and Cooper Rush. The Douche and Russell Wilson would evidently cost us too much and KC has not been realized.
https://thevikingage.com/nfl-draft-bust-trey-lance-top-jj-mccarthy-backup-2025-minnesota-vikings
Flacco. The rest is mostly garbage.
Signing Rodgers would be really fun, though.
Them signing Rodgers would cost me a 6 pack. For that alone I don’t want to see it. Plus, it’s time to move on to the future. This is not the same team that was built for a short term rental of Favre. They’re building something sustainable. Move to the future and rally around JJ.
Evidently since the Jets don’t owe him any money currently the Offset rules do not apply so he would cost us $$ as well.
Yeah, that’s the Wilf’s money though. I want a 6 pack and don’t want to have to buy one.
I was/am more concerned with Cap Space than actually money.
Fair point, nobody wants to lose a 6 pack. Signing Rodgers could be epic from an entertainment standpoint, but I agree that Flacco likely would be a better mentor.
JJ IS the future, after all, let’s get him the best help we can find.
Maybe sending them a 6 pack of Bud Light would be appropriate.
Welcome back Eric Wilson
Guess that means Kamu Grugier-Hill is not coming back?
Maybe
He did pretty well for us when he needed to step in.
Probably earned himself a better pay day with some LB needy team.
Good morning.
God morgon.
Guten morgen.
Buen dia.
Bon dia.
Buongiorno.
Dobroye utro
Zaoshang hao.
Habari za asubuhi.
I just want to make sure that everyone that is spying on us has a good morning greeting.
Annyeong haseyo
One of the few phrases I remember from my time in Korea.
Jó reggelt
Just in case we have people spying who understand Hungarian.
Howdy y’all – twanganese
Yo. Bro-eze (also Dude-eze, some cultural overlap).
WR Rondale Moore has started his free agent visit with the Vikings. Decent guy, probably hoping to be a bigger piece in an offense, but with JJ and Addison I don’t see that happening here.
Cute
Diggs is available.
Him coming back as the #3 WR would not sit well with his ego.
Not to mention the pay cut.
He’d probably be the #2 for a few weeks. Otherwise just sell him that he’s not the #3, just the third #1.
