Were you alive to witness the span from 1968-1991? Over the course of 24 seasons, the Packers managed just five winning records and only two playoff appearances. You’ve enjoyed a lot of good football since then.
I really don’t think Viking fans mind the Bears much at all. There is no rivalry there at all.

My Dad drew his once in a life time NoDak tag, was out last weekend, looking to go out again this weekend, im going to try to take work off and tag along. Some very nice Elk there in Western Nodak. Yours looks like it could use another year.
That thing was a stud, he’s just missing part of an antler. The brow tine on one side was over 2 feet.
My dad drew a Minnesota tag this year. I drove back for that and we got one opening morning.

My son broke and dislocated his thumb last winter – it was a significant recovery time.

I’m going to go on record and say the overrated Flores defense is going to allow big plays again and the Bears will put up more than 29 points this week in a loss. We’ll see how he does (pending weather), but those huge plays to GB were not exactly making me optimistic for a good defensive season.

The Bores seem to have a good offense but a bad defense so betting the Over seems smart.
Of course the weather will have an effect to bring down points and what happens if Wentz gets knock out of the game and we have to go JJ (QB)??

Bores have a bad defense, we have a good defense. We could give our offense short fields or even a Defensive score.
My brother in Christ it was 2 quarters of football and you’re calling one of the top ranked defenses consistently in the league over the past few years (while being terribly understocked because of poor drafts btw) overrated because they gave up yards? For someone that has KDS you should know not to demand perfection from the game of Football.
I just don’t like the big plays that he gives up – the Packers were dicing them up for the better part of 3 quarters. If that’s how it’s going to be, you’re not going to win many games against the good teams hoping for a Q4 comeback. Still think Flores is overrated.
What matters is how many points he gives up, not big plays or yards. It was one game, where GB deff schemed up some things to counter flos initial plan, he adjusted at half time and shut them down completely in the 2nd quarter. Not to mention GB got great field position to start their scoring dirve in the first half. Again, context is key here. And I think you are ignoring it because of some weird bias. We’re clearly not watching the same game. I think you are way off base. But we are free to think what we like.
Someone help me out. I saw Darrisaw and Jackson didn’t give up any pressures and then like the other guys only gave up very low amount… how is this possible when I remember seeing Wentz scraping himself off the ground it would seem more than just a few times. Maybe remembering wrong.
Because our center and Fries suck ass? Also Wentz has a propensity to hold on to the ball a lot longer then he should. Id say if protection holds up for 3 seconds and the ball isn’t out and he gets hit, thats on him, not the line.
The holding the ball too long makes sense but the stat I saw and I should have saved it, showed both Fries and AssSuckCenter gave up just like a couple a piece. So, yeah it’s an odd stat.
Mayhaps, they only account for the rusher directly across from them, not any blitzer that gets home. So if CD and Jackson stop their assigned rusher but Potato/Fries/OCs (a few times) or a LB/DB (more often) blitz gets to Wentz it doesn’t count against the OL much.
How many times did a blitz get home that the RB/TE didn’t/couldn’t stop??
That could be. Like if the one person they were responsible for didn’t put on the pressure there could still be pressure which is more of a scheme issue.

They could easily lose to the Jets of MLF lost the locker room already and they play like they did the 2nd half of last Sunday. Jets have good weapons, especially on offense, just terrible coaching.

I found the picks fairly difficult this week. I really only saw maybe three or four games that seemed obvious to me. The rest genuinely seem they could go either way.
This week could be a bloodbath. Or I could get incredibly lucky and guess right!
I got mine in! It definitely felt tricky. I took the team that Yahoo did not favor more often than I expected to.
I had to make myself stop looking at the Yahoo odds because some of them seemed flat out crazy to me.
It was a bugger getting forced to put double digit confidence points on multiple games that would be my “1” game any other week.
I don’t pay very much attention to the confidence points, otherwise I would obsess about getting them perfect. I don’t have time for that.
I think I had the highest number of correct picks and still did not win because I am bad at confidence points.
Also, I should stop betting on football, but Draft Kings sucked me in again with free $100 bonus with a $25 deposit. So I will lose my $25 by end of October probably
I never look at “yahoo” odds.

Just to be clear, I think the “odds” we are talking about are the pick distributions of all picks to date.
I wouldn’t be trusting the “trends” on a weekly basis.
Look at how many people had the Chargers for their survivor pick. I stayed away from the trend.
I will be top 3 eventually.

You guys have had our number the last few years. We’re losing the border battle as of now.
It’s about as close to 50/50 as it can get for the last 5 full seasons (6 wins and 5 losses for Minnesota). Both teams tend to win at home.

KOC is down playing the injury (“a little sore”), but they brought in 3 guys to look at. That sounds like more that a little sore. Of course they could be showing “an over abundance of caution” ( i hated that phrase, it means you are too chicken sh×t to do anything).

It does feel like the kind of season that starts with promise and gets derailed by injury. Sad to be able to see it coming. Hope I’m wrong.

Real tough game this week, one of the tougher ones on the schedule. Good chance of rain, which should help us, i think.
Key is obviously containing the running of Williams. Something we dont do well. The “spotter” approach never seems to work well. Do we bring a lot of pressure, and open ourselves up to big plays, or rush fewer and due by 1000 paper cuts?
In the past we try to force Williams to throw it, and he kills us. What will Flores do? My gut says he will bring maximum pressure, like he did againt the Pukers
showing blitz and dropping out doesn’t seem to work against CW, we need to actually pressure. the fewer rushers it takes, the better. how’s CHI’s oline?
Turdbury is their center, so I say rush up the middle as much as possible.

Wet balls are harder to throw accurately, harder to catch cleanly, so rain favors a running game, and we don’t have a great running game. Bears do……..
