The Gophers play Michigan at noon on Saturday. Roman Voss is a freshman TE from my area. So far this year he has 2 receptions, 1 for a TD.
I’ve pretty much have only seen parts of games due to them being on Peacock or in the middle of the night. I can actually watch a noon game (if I don’t fall asleep for my nap).
I normally don’t watch any college football, but I know the kid and his family. So I am a little more interested.

Slow day today, I guess with no QB controversy there is nothing to talk about.
Sorry, had a lot on my plate lately. Work is busy and I’ve been babying a doggo all week. Still not in the clear so he’s not really allowed to be more than about 5 feet from me. He’s fine with that because he normally doesn’t want to be anyway and since he doesn’t feel good, his comfort level is more like no more than 2 feet away.
My lab is getting over an ear infection. How is your guy doing?
Up and down. Was getting worse yesterday, finally ate some food about 7 last night. Hasn’t pooped since about Wednesday of last week and won’t eat enough to get him to take any medicine so I can’t give him pain meds to help or antibiotics that I think are probably necessary since he had his intestines cut open. Vet says all we can do is keep an eye on him and at least he’s drinking water. Taking him in tomorrow morning for a pre-weekend checkup, I think maybe mainly to check for infection since he won’t take antibiotics. If he won’t take any meds today, we’ll probably do some shots in the morning. I think he was pretty messed up so it’s just going to be a long recovery.
So sad to hear he is not improving. Labs are like tanks so he must really be hurting.
Took Bubba for a bike ride around our place yesterday. I saw a snake laid out across the path while he was sniffing something about 45 yards back so pulled over to the side to examine the snake. I was 90% certain it was a gopher snake but wanted to see the head. Of course the second I stopped my bike Bubba comes racing to see what the excitement is, I yelled at him to stop and he kinda shivered like why are you so mean, but kept on coming. He just proceeded to step over the snake without even seeing it, just fixated on my facial expression, “am I in trouble, dad?”
Yeah, it was a piece of velcro that was making its way through his GI tract so it rubbed up the intestine quite a bit by the time they got it removed.
Hopefully he recovers, my brother had a German shorthair years ago who also ate anything, if you remember back when we were kids those bouncy balls you’d get out of the candy style vending machines, well his daughters had one roughly the size of a pool ball, called a super ball, anyway duke swallowed it whole somehow, by the time he started showing symptoms they took him into the vet and they removed it and were shocked he managed to ingest it.
They made some hollow balls years ago that only had one air hole – dogs would get their tongue sucked into the hole after they squeezed the ball and not be able to remove it (having hands is helpful). I can’t imagine the pain that having a tongue infarct would cause.

I asked that question last weekend when it showed Minn-Tampa game not in my area because Seattle-Redskins was being showed.
Of course Seattle-Redskins was an early games and Minn-Tampa was a late game.
In any case Minn-Tampa was not shown in my area.
FOX will only show a single game in each tv market this week, because CBS has the double header.
Stated another way, you will only get one FOX game on TV this week.
That map shows you the ONE game you will get, regardless of the time.
No FOX double header this week.
Fudge. That means my area gets the FTP broadcast.
It’s not 100% accurate, since the local tv affilate makes the call.
