The weekend is upon us, and welcome to Skoloholics. A place where Vikings fans and others can get together and give each other a hard time and discuss our beloved Vikings on occasion. This Sunday the Vikings will welcome the Colts to US Bank Stadium. Hopefully, we are able to avoid the dreaded trap game, and walk away 6-0. The Vikings injury report is looking good with everyone being a full practice designation. The Colts on the other hand are looking like they will be missing some key players.
Don’t forget to check out the comment section, it is where the real action is. Just remember, be kind to each other and we will all get along.
QOTD:
Will JJettas get over 100 receiving yards against the Colts?
Let us know in the comments.

Our Inactives for today.
Nothing earth shattering, Claiborne added due to Masons return.
Paris has, allegedly, always been a city of fun and games…
Fun and games sure.
Defending their country…not so much.
They have to defend their country because “their” government imported millions of culturally incompatible 3rd worlders.
Many voted for the perpetrators, over and over again. Can’t really feel sorry for most of them. They had been warned, over and over again.
When one tried to warn the great unwashed years and decades ago what this “refugees welcome” lunacy would lead to one was ostracized and called “racist” or “N*zi”. Now they are reaping what they helped and enabled sowing. Hope they are having fun.
Lions on the road will be a tough game for us tomorrow.
Division games are always a battle.
Should be a good game, but given it’s a division game, it’s hard for Vikings fans to watch unless it ends in a tie.
That would be a cool outcome.
Not hard to watch, just cheer for the Kittens
Over the Pukers this week…yeah.
In general….no
Felton and Price play HARD. I like those guys.
Baker Mayfield in purple would be entertaining
Well we have to have someone.
Barker is pricy as didn’t he just sign a new extension?
Given that he signed a $50 million a year contract with the Bucs, it’s just a dream at this point.
Rodents win on a last second FG, 13-10.
The Pig returns to Minnesota.
So Minnesota-Iowa is 3-3 at halftime.
It looks more like bad offense than good defense to my admittedly untrained eye.
TV commentator just compared MN QB Lindsey to Aaron Rodgers and Matthew Stafford.
😆
It’s an ugly game for sure.
Not sure how the defense can cause a delay of game but that is what was called??
Lindsey, as well as the rest of the Gopher offense, looked bad
My son and DIL are at the game. I’ve been busy watching our 9 month old granddaughter.
Congrats pops!
QOTD
Hard to know with the current offensive output thus far.
I expect another bruiser of a game since that seems to be the Vikings way in 2026.
FTP and FTL
Need a tie.
FTP vs FTL is most certainly a meteor game.
Sorry I am running late this morning/afternoon.
We had a spring break on the garage door opener late yesterday and this morning at 9 am was the only appointment they had until next week.
$250 later we are all good. Did some yard work while repair dude was here and then took The Teacher for some of her ‘shopping therapy’.
It doesn’t look like I missed too much, nice to see NLNFV in the house. Don’t envy that process and it is why I tell The Teacher all the time that I am going first cause I don’t want to go thru the mess if she beats me to it.
Finally moved on from my 2016 750i. Gave it to my daughter. Here’s the newer model I bought.
Yeah, someday I’ll have to move on from my 2012 Chevy Express. First world problems…
Well I’m 71 and I’m not wealthy, but I don’t have much debt and I have good retirement income. I worked from the time I was 10 years old till I was 68. So I’m probably at a little different stage of life than you at this point.
I’m 67 with 8 kids (6 still at home), I also am not even close to wealthy but don’t have debt, so not too different a life stage, just different life circumstances. I am sure you don’t regret your choices, and neither do I. I didn’t mean to sound snarky, sorry about that.
No problem pirate, I thought you were younger! 8 kids is a lot. God bless you for taking care of all those mouths to feed.
No debt is one of the keys to retirement. We worked a long time to get to that position
No debt is a marvelous thing indeed.
Yes.
Thats where we are at.
No debt.
55 days until retirement.
PARTY at DE’s house!!!!
Good morning all,
I think I let you know my sister passed away on 30 Sep. Since then I have been working to take care of her estate here in Myrtle Beach. I’ve sat in her office for hours every day the last 4 weeks going through thousands of documents and examining all the files she and her husband had put together over the years. In a word, it’s been a chore. The funeral was good, and heavily attended. Lots of folks came by and offered their condolences, and that was very heartwarming.
The Vikings have quietly assembled a nice 6-0 start, and I’ve seen the blather on Twitter recently that they should trade the Raiders for Cousins because “he can get them to the Super Bowl”.
It’s a wild world we live in.
5-0 until tomorrow, then 6-0.
Oh yeah… forgot the bye week… and yeah not been following things quite as closely as normal. But then, I’ve always been a man ahead of my time, and everyone else’s. Grin. So we’re gonna win tomorrow.
Hey, welcome back. It is a lot of work getting an estate settled. I went through it a few years back when my dad passed. The following Xmas, our daughter, a financial planner got us 3 copies of a book called, “I Am Dead, Now What?”. It allowed us to organize all our financial and petsonal stuff and put in tje book. We kept 1 copy, and gave a copy to two of our kids. When we kick, all tje info they need is right there.
That’s a very practical plan. I have a binder I maintain with every banking account, my IRA and investment info, and insurance listed. I also have a tab with all my passwords. There is a section called “what to do when I die”. I built a checklist of things to do more or less in priority order, with the names and telephone numbers of everyone to notify. My wife has a copy, and my daughter has a copy.
I just figure I will be dead so it will be someone else’s problem at that point.
The Teacher manages most of the paperwork so she already knows what is up and where everything is.
My wife is 17 years younger than me, and I want her to have the least issues possible to deal with when I pass. Cool that your wife has a handle on everything.
The Teacher was a teacher, duh, so she is very organized and fixated about paperwork and bills and such.
I was kind of sloppy about mine so she took over and has everything organized to her specifications.
Oh and she is 3 years younger than me, although I am not sure what that has to do with the topic.
I just meant she’s not likely to pass any time soon after I do. So I want everything in order for her to proceed in her life without any hassles.
Yep, same thing. My wife, our daughter (works for a financial planner) and our daughters boss (whom I know well), all know that when i die, all investments go to their firm. That way my wife does not have to worry.
GM!
FTP!
SKOL!
QOTD. Yup
Just win baby
Agreed, QOTD doesn’t matter as long as we win. Although I think the probability he will is high.
