Did you all notice that Hitman (after his interception), took the ball and ran to the 40-yard line, where he slammed the ball down on the #40. Pretty cool!
I didn’t notice but you are right that was pretty cool.
I saw an interview he did with Richard Sherman just two days ago and they discussed getting his 40th. He told Sherman that he the guys were teasing him about it but that he can’t ‘play for it that it will just come when he plays good football’.
Sherman told him to go out and get it this week, and well, he did.
21m video that interaction was near the end of it, maybe 18m mark.
40 interceptions is a big threshold. I’m surprised that no one on the broadcast team recognized that. They didn’t even mention it. Of course PA recognized it on the radio broadcast.

1. Late 3rd quarter, they go for it on 4th and 5 on the GB 7. They were up 3 at the point. FG makes it a 6 point lead.
2. Tie game (because Lions opted not to take the 3 points earlier), they have 4th and a short yard from their own 25, and tbe unsuccessfully go for it.

I can recall many years when the Vikings were one and four or two and three, and we sat here and talked about how much better they are than their record. They almost won one or two of those games, etc.

I didn’t have it on for the first 3 quarters. I coached football this morning, got home and got the grill going, then the game started, was completely distracted. I didn’t think of it until right before the fourth quarter. I was just in time.
Football team had a rough year, didn’t get any wins, but we had fun.
The fall baseball team was the opposite, almost indestructible. We didn’t lose a game until the last game of the season, and that was because half of our team was gone.
