I have exchanged opinions a lot, with a lot of people on this site, and we have very different opinions on some topics.
Some people are more exasperating than others. I am sure my opinions are seen in that light often.
This is why I now take breaks since the season ended, and do not post a thread as often.
I could post a thread daily. I am just a backup to the backup admin.
Brad is busy. Work and Family are both higher priorities, and should be for all of us.

Kinda good we have a prolific poster who pokes the bear, keeps things going, provides general information on a myrid of subjects, and in general provides posts that spark interesting discussions.

You know what a sad, very real possibility is? Is he’s actually a dementia patient in a home in FL that still has access to the internet somehow and he thinks he’s all of these things and knows all of these things but really its all in his head? She thinks she should have had it cleaned out way before we ‘had to’ due to the move.

She said she had the unit for close to 15 years, so even before I met her.
She did keep her classroom/school supplies and seasonal decorations in there so we periodically went and rotated stock.
Once I met her we also kept camping supplies there until the Nieces/Nephews moved out and out grew that stuff.

JJ was asked the same question and didn’t complain about nor getting all the reps, but JJ is the supposed poor leader. JJ also isn’t going around calling his teammates dirtbags.
No JJM wasn’t asked “What’s the toughest part of adapting to a new offense?” He was asked about splitting reps. Two completely different questions. McCarthy is less bothered about splitting reps, because this is his 3rd year in the offense, with basically all the same receivers. Of course splitting reps is less impactful to him, than the new guy who is competing to be QB1 and has been in OTA’s and Camp for a few weeks.
But don’t worry, soon KOC will let everyone know who he wants QB1 to be, and this petty crap will be done and dusted..

I do follow a FB page for my old hometown (where I went to HS) which frequently has posts about the separatist movement in Alberta (which I GUARANTEE won’t happen or at least won’t happen until I’m 130) and the usual name calling typically leads to a “you should just move to Donnyland (US) now and leave Canada to us”. I used to weigh in by saying it doesn’t work like that, one can’t randomly move to the US or Canada or Switzerland and reside there permanently, but now I just stay out of the tomfoolery. Much like the Vikings making a deep playoff run this year haha.
I do chuckle because if you’re going to get the screws at customs and border protection it is always on the US side (returning to the US). I’ve never had issue sailing through whether entering Canada, Mexico, European countries, etc…with the exception of they confiscated my Mothers Day plant once and I had to pay about 4x as much to replace it in Canada…Fuckers. Once I even had my car inspected as I was leaving the US; I wondered about the legality of that if they discovered say pot in my trunk. Seems that when you are in the vicinity of the border constitutional rights become a bit of a grey area.

We need to start putting the hammer to them again. These fanatics understand one thing – brute power.
Part of the problem at the moment is Iran’s leadership is severely fractured. We’ve killed off so many leaders that there are dozens of interim, or newly placed leaders. Some accept the reality that unless they deal with Trump, the country will literally die with no oil commerce, and they are defenseless against Israel and the U.S. Then there are the leaders who really believe they can still terrorize the region and the U.S. into ending the war. We’re actually working to help develop a coalition of leaders that can make a deal, and make it work. When you these Iranians on TV shouting demands and threatening to kill us all, they aren’t the people we’re working with. They’re the smaller faction of terrorists trying to maintain power.
Regardless of leadership team, if the radicals (even if lesser ones) remain in power, we’re just kicking the can. Just a matter of time, and they’ll be right back at it,

We’ve known this from the start. We’ve known this for over four decades. The media messages the public like we don’t know what we’re doing. Most of the time, it’s them who doesn’t know what we’re doing, which is good. There are a lot media spies at work in the Government which always causes issues. If you’re taking a swipe at me SoCal, I don’t know why. Both answers were rational and reasonable based on the specific circumstances each player faces. Murray is absolutely behind in learning the offense, compared to the guy who’s starting his 3rd year in it. Reps at this point affect Murray, much more than McCarthy.
Well, McCarthy has been in this offense now for over two years, and played with all the team’s receivers for the most part, while Murray is just getting his feet wet. Two completely different situations. Murray was asked specifically what was the toughest part in adapting to the new offense, and he said split reps, which is completely sensible. He has 90 days to master the offense before he starts the first game, so his answer was reasonable and rational. KOC will announce Kyler as the starter before training camp starts though, and he’ll get all the first team reps then.
Does Call of Duty have an NFL playbook setting?

I have no idea how accurate Murray is, but this doesn’t look good.

I’m guessing these metrics were pulled from last year’s five games he played.

Weird because there would be many more QB’s than 36 to rate him against if that was the case, because 66 QB’s have started games in the NFL since 2022.
Something is screwy here. I’m not a big stat guy but just looked up some.
Murray has thrown for over 20,000 yards, has completed 67% of his passes, and thrown 121 Tds to 60 Int’s.
That looks pretty good to me.
Checkdown merchant. Can’t throw past 10 yards because he can’t see past the line. The only time he can see his WR is if the play is a screen.
I’m guessing there’s some minimum throws or something that isn’t noted or only active QBs. Here’s another snippet if you go into the comments:
Over his career, Kyler averages a shade over 235 yards a game passing, completes 67.1% of his passes, and has twice as many TD’s as he does interceptions. He has a career passer rating of 92.2 through 87 games and 7 seasons, and he’s completed almost 2,000 passes in those 87 games. Murray has 153 total TD’s (121 passing, 32 rushing) vs 60 int’s. I think he could put up 28 passing TD’s and 8 rushing TD’s this year.
I’m not a big fan of the midget, but he can and does complete a good number of passes. One would hope KOC really watched the tape on Murray before they signed him. If in the next few weeks (some pundits say days) Kyler is named the starter, then KOC is convinced he brought in a guy that can do more with the offense than JJM can. You can bet the media will be asking “what’s wrong with McCarthy?” questions if/when that happens.

I think those are the 3 most likely paths for your prediction coming true.
I’m not predicting how, just what. Any could be viable ways to reach the final goal, or probably a dozen others (the QBs all take turns getting hurt all year, Wentz grabs the spot and leads the Vikes to an undefeated season until he gets hurt the the next to last game, etc,). I don’t have a legit reason to predict this, but then neither does anyone else.
I guess by default, since Murray’s contract ends at the end of the year, and JJM is the best QB under contract.
