Happy Wednesday, everyone!
I’m still playing with the functionality features of this site, so there may be a blurp or two throughout the day. Thank you all for your feedback and suggestions as I learn to navigate. I can’t fix something if I don’t know it’s broken, so I appreciate your feedback.

It is a symptom of an issue throughout western civilization. The rights of the weak or at least proclaimed weak and least tolerant supersede the rights of the average or strong. Tolerance is only allowed and in most cases actually demanded from the majority, while the weak minority is allowed to be completely intolerant.
This needs to change but currently it is only getting worse.

Hey five, if you are looking for a great shotgun for the money for upland, I got a Browning Citorri in 20 gauge a few years ago. Awesome gun. Light, 5 lbs, fast and handles really well. Great for grouse, quail, chukars, pheasants. Not so much for waterfowl. I have a 12 for that.
I grew up on a Beretta Silver Snipe over-under that dad had. Also awesome with the 26″ barrel.
Yeah, think silver pigeon is that genre now. It’s a nice gun.
That’s what I want, a 20 over/under. If you stay in that price range the choices are Browning, Beretta, Rizzini most likely. Then, it’s 26 or 28″ barrel and really how it fits me.
Yeah, I got an 870 with the 30 inch barrel when I was a kid, which is pretty close to useless in upland, so I’d take the Beretta. 26 is the way to go, if you ask me.
more compact but the argument guys have made to me is the 28 has more balance. Not sure it matters
I can get on point much much faster with pheasants with a shorter barrel, much like the close-quarter combat guys all use shorter barrels on rifles.
I strongly recommend getting the Citorri. Get it custom fitted by extending the pad for $100 after you get it. That’s what I did and it’s the best shotgun I have ever used.

A lot of the research we’ve seen for text heavy sites is to use a white background since it is the easiest to read on (highest contrast). Let’s leave it for the time being and see if users adjust.

Hi Mt, Glad to see you wandered over to the future of Viking fandom. How is life in the shouse? Hope the wife isn’t beating you too often and you have become accustomed to life w/o a butler and groundskeeper. Still riding the bike to work?
Life is simpler. Moving out of a 5000+ sq ft home (size of five’s coat room) meant we gave easily a metric tonne of crap away to neighbors and Goodwill. Even then we filled a 40′ shipping container with stuff. Just sad how much crap one accumulates when you have the space.
No bike yet. I’ve contemplated throwing it in the back of the pickup and riding in from the old K-Mart but that would be a bit of a hassle. I’m currently employing my typical deception by driving my 2011 Ranger beater to and from work. Always good to have patients see you are dirt poor.

FYI, when a comment gets a certain number of down votes, it will automatically categorize the comment as pending and will remain that way until I click approve or disapprove. I found this out yesterday when a certain comment was down voted enough times.

I was logged in on my home computer all day while commenting on mobile at work, no problem whatsoever. This new place just keeps getting better and better.
It’s actually live now. If you look above the text box of a comment, you’ll see “reply to”, and then the name of the commenter. Click on the name of the commenter, and it’ll take you to the comment to which you’re replying.
Hope you can make it work on a computer as well, if not, so be it 🙂
