Nope, too much shit to do at home, plus, Miami is a 12-hour drive from my house. I live up in the northwest panhandle.

The panhandle is my favorite handle.
I wanted to, especially since Gone Fishin is going
work schedule didn’t work out in my favor, and that drive down 95 is painful.
Plus, I have a lot to fix still on our new house

actually it’s easier for me to go to Tampa or Atlanta than Miami
Same here, short drives to New Orleans, Atlanta or Jacksonville (4-5 hours). Tampa and Nashville are 6-7 hours away.
My kids think I drive too slow also, even though I typically drive about 5 mph over.
that’s why their insurance is more expensive
I don’t pay their insurance any more, so I’ve got that going for me.
I’m right in the midst of it. ugh.
Yeah, it’s more like a 10-hour drive (650 miles), but, add in the wife’s bathroom breaks, gas stops, etc, you are getting close to 12 hours.
And yes, the snowbirds do slow you down…
