So evidently we didn’t run a single play from the Red Zone all game.
I didn’t get to watch most of the game so I cannot confirm, seems strange if true.
Is true, every time they got even close there would be a holding penalty or sack or something to move them back
I know that our 2 TDs were the long punt return and the 41 yard pass to Addison.
And two of our FGs were longer, 50 yards or more.

Jones had several nice runs, but they seemed to adjust and shut him down quickly. I would not be opposed to picking a RB early next year.
Plus Mason is a FA at the end of season I believe.
Even if jones was “good” and or “healthy” we were drafting an RB early next year regardless.

Murray couldn’t get anything consistent going with the passing game. He looked indecisive, and couldn’t/didn’t pull the trigger on some plays where it looked to me that there were open receivers (same as week 1). He underthrew Addison on the TD and the missed TD.
I get jealous watching the other team’s QBs hitting receivers in stride.
I get jealous watching other quarterbacks make decisive decisions at the very least, much less the accurate throws.
I think it’s just part of KOC’s offense….. Everything is fluid and there’s nothing decisive. It’s reactive.

That was ugly, but they managed not to lose. Defense was good, Van noy played well in particular I thought.
Offense sucks, oline got handled, couldn’t run the ball to save their lives. Murray is completely unimpressive. JJ injury doesn’t help but they should still be functional even without him. Will the thrill just out there drilling 50 yarders like it’s nothing, damn that guy’s good.

Absolutely brilliant defensive performance. Tons of TFL’s, pressure, drawn penalties. Dallas causing problems all day. Cashman and Wilson flying around. Rodgers a dog in coverage. Metellus hitting hard. Banks collapsing pockets. Fun to watch.
Wilson got away with several hits to Bakers head. I think this is why the Clancy hit on Kyler (obvious roughing) was a no-call…. it was a makeup call. Officials missed several obvious holds on Redmond and the Alphabet Boys (TID, LDR) in the 2nd half. Sloppy game by both teams really.
Is Myles Price the next Marcus Sherels? Kid finally popped one, and it was the difference in the game.
I’m not particularly impressed with Murray, or the game called for him. Fair to point out that prior to today he’d taken 20 snaps total as the starter. Theoretically he’s still in preseason. Hoping for a better performance next week. His height (or lack thereof) is an issue.
Thus far, the offense seams to move better with Wentz – but he’s a statue, and his release could be clocked with a sundial. I hear the arguments for McHitchinhistiming – and they’re valid. But I don’t see a path to him taking snaps with us 3-0, leading the division and the small sample size of Murray – barring injuries to both Kyler and Wentz.

Aaron Jones is made of glass – but awesome to see him cowboy up after being hurt late and securing the ball on money downs and burn clock and Tampa timeouts. He’ll be on the injury report all year, but if he can play – he’s clearly our best option. Claiborne may be explosive (allegedly) but I have yet to see it.
Pace is playing better, was a factor today creating pressure.
Fries getting called for holding while getting trucked by Vita Vea made me laugh out loud.
3-0, Fish up next and their best offensive weapon is likely done for the year. Gotta keep rolling.

Good summary. I saw over 5 hands to the face and facemasks that were not called on us. I saw a horrible DPI and a holding on them that wasn’t called.
Regardless, 3-0 is nice. We need to iron out some Offense to stay relevant.
Will ‘Just call me Otto, as in Otto Mattic ‘ is going to carry us to several wins this year.
Honorable mention to Van Noy, he made some good plays.
He is out of Practice Squad Call-ups and will have to be added to the 53 for next week probably.

Mayfield hurt his hand on the Gink Interception and went to the locker room. He was not in the game for the final drive/interception.

Reports say he was ‘screaming in pain’ on the field.
He might have ligament damage and possibly require surgery.
His backup is an UDFA and their PS QB has been with the team about a month.
It is looking bad in Tampa.
For the right price I know a team who may have an extra QB with starting experience

JJ. Wentz is not the long term answer. JJ may not be either but find out. Can’t get a whole lot worse, plus the next two games would be good tests that you might be able to win with just ok QB play. If you wait until after the bye, nobody is gonna do anything. Murray showed why the Cardinals were fine taking a massive cap hit to get him off the team.
