They are still trying to say how great it was that the game last night streamed on Peacock. Supposedly 23 million streamed it last night. I’m going to say that about 20 million are going to cancel Peacock tomorrow.

Welp, Lions fans hate the Cowboys and especially the Packers too. They said hold your nose and root for the Packers, who would then have to go play at 49ers. If Dallas had won, and of course Lions would need to win tonight, Lions would have had to go back to Dallas. This way, with a win tonight, they get another home game.
I didn’t want the Packers to look THAT good though, UGH!!!
My #1 wish though is for Lamar to win the SB.
Hate the Pack (and the Cowboys) but glad Pack won. Lower draft pick for the Pack and puts Dallas into big turmoil…may fire Fat Carthy.

When I see the Packers play like this, it makes me frustrated with our ownership and front office.

I know this is your stock answer, but it is deeper than this. It is a culture that has been going on for my nearly 50 years of fandom. It is frustrating.

What I don’t get is why many fans think it’s perfectly fine to do the same thing every year when it hasn’t worked.
But you are correct that the Vikings can’t seem to put it together no matter what they do.
Blow it up and see what happens.
It won’t matter if they blow it up or do a competitive rebuild. I don’t expect anything better until I actually see it.

I have NFL+. They said that you can stream all the playoff games. When I wanted to stream the game last night on NFL+ last night, they said I had to input my Peacock login information. What a bunch of greedy losers.

Outside of the Purple world maybe different feelings. Packer folks saw our offense up there and then later on New Year’s – from their perspective probably looked like two different teams.

I remember standing in front of the TV just prior to the last play. I told The Teacher that it had been a good season and it was sad that it was over.
Then that play happened. The season ended the next game but that was a glorious week in-between, I gorged on Saint Fans Tears.
Pretty similar to my experience as well.
Was getting ready to turn off the tv as the play was about to end.

All we needed was a string of miracles to keep happening. Sadly, not the case.

I did not subscribe to Peacock and did not watch the ice bowl, last night. NFL = sucks.
I had wanted to watch Poker Face for a while. Subscribed and did watch the ice bowl.
But yes, the cash grab is blatant.
Cut the cable cord years ago when you tube tv was $35 / Month. Now I am paying $80 plus have paramount/Prime/Netflix/HBO-Max/and now peacock.
Time to cancel a few and rotate in one at a time to binge stream.

When KAM decided to let Cook walk, I understood why. What I didn’t understand was how any football person on the planet could think Mattison could do the job as RB1. If that was what KOC and KAM thought, we need to start looking for a new GM and HC. The same with Jaren Hall. KOC put Hall out there to start, after Mullens threw a lot of interceptions. Hall was clearly not ready to take the reins in KOC’s scheme. So they went back to Mullens.
KOC talks a good game. He doesn’t coach one.
Really should have hired Harbaugh.
Personally I liked Doug Pederson for the HC job, but yeah, Harbaugh would have been FAR better.
Pederson would have been quite interesting as well, I was firmly on the Harbaugh bandwagon.

Huge difference in QB pressures, and with the Texans scoring every 30 seconds, and Stroud untouched. Stefanski had to keep throwing. Flacco got killed tonight for sure. Not sure what QB in the league was gonna look good taking a beating like that.

Been saying since before this season started that Cousins won’t be back next year, and I still don’t think he will. Would I like him to be back? Yes. I just don’t think KAM is willing to do the things to make it happen.

Saw a season end show tonight. Think Kirk wants to say, said he been blessed by God with money and he does not need much more. Translation? 40 mil a year? Stay i meant.
NFLPA is not going to allow Cousins to play for nothing. He has to play for what he’s worth. Market value is $40-$43M I’ve heard.
That said, it’s the structure of the contract, not the amount so much, that will prevent a deal from getting done.
