Hi, I am Gone Fishin’s son, and I will posting with you guys. My name is Eli, I am nine years old, and I am so excited to do this! I might do my own team in fantasy football this year, which will be fun. I have been a Vikings fan my whole life (all 9 years). My favorite Vikings memory was when I got to race Marcus Sherels.

Fun fact: Eli has been christened into Vikings fandom. His introductory (first of many) kicks to the groin by the Vikings came when he witnessed the 2022 playoff loss in person. It came down to the wire, as it always does when you’re a Vikings fan, and the kick was painful. Maybe not 1998 Gary Anderson painful or 2009 NFCCG painful, but seeing it in person made it pretty painful.
Thanks to NoDak for the tickets to that one. We really did have a blast, even if the ending sucked.

As the Vikings world turns at the start of the new season (basically 9 days into it), KAM has made some significant moves to bolster the defense, and remain capable on offense. Overall I’d give him a B to date, on his initial offseason actions. As to the rest of the Division, I’d probably give the Bears a C, the Lions a B+, and the Packers a B-.
Thus the most improved title to date, goes to the Lions. KAM has to put the finishing touches on the roster in the next several months, of course. I still think the defense is weak at Edge, D-line, and CB, even though they signed Shaquill Griffin to a one year deal.
