Here’s something fun for ya. As we are prepping the tracks for our 3 song EP we are recording hopefully in a month (drummer fractured his foot ugh!). Here are the demo tracks for our most straight forward song. Pretty excited how it’s finally coming together. Reminder this is just demo where mistakes and such are left in because there’s no need to get it perfect since we are going to be redoing everything in the studio lol.

I like instrumentals. There are not enough of them these days. It sounds Metallica-y, like Kall of Kthulu, which I like because I like Mustaine/Burton Metallica the best, only sludgier, which is also a nice tweak. Makes it sound a little bit Pantera-y.
I agree, I enjoy some good instrumentals. The song I posted does have vocals just don’t have them added to the track yet. And thanks man! Yeah there’s some southern groove snuck in there. The original idea of the band was to be thrashier so good you hear that Metallica and Megadeth in there. It’s just I am a groove orientated guy. Lots of PanterA, Fear Facotry, Gojira, while the other guitarist is very much a prog metal guy.
I have actually been listening to more Pantera lately, and I am growing more and more amazed by Dimebag. I mean, I always liked him, but I am marveling at how “busy” of a sound he generated.
Back in the day, I always thought Pantera had the standard lead and rhythm guitarists, but no, it was just Dimebag going nuts by himself.
Dime is my favorite guitarist all time. Him and Chuck from Death. SUCH clean players, just spot on all the time. I heard a story recently from Phil where he was talking about Dime was on no matter how sick he was or hung over. He told a story where he said he had seen Dime take a shit on stage in a bucket because he just had to go but the show must go on and didn’t miss a note.
I can believe it. Every one of Dimebag’s fingers seemed to have a brain of their own.

Effective, if not flashy signings to the defense should be an improvement despite the loss of Hunter.
Still feel like we’re soft on the IDL – maybe Tillery is the answer, but I doubt it.
I like where the offense is at and even semi-competent QB play from Darnold should yield points (expecting more of an emphasis on the run with signing Jones) Incompetent or inconsistent play from Darnold (his MO) could pave the way for a rookie QB to start earlier than expected.
Should be an easier schedule based on how we finished last year – on paper. That, along with the defensive upgrades and a better running game should be enough for 8 wins.

Agreed. If that is the results I wish the universe would hate me too. I’m not enjoying worrying about the cost of everything everyday and trying to fix failed utilities at my house. It would be much better if I could just throw money at the problem. Only question is if shitty grilling skills are a result as well. If that is the case, it might not be worth it.
Grilling takes practice and to get truly good flavors I think you need to take risks grilling/smoking. I think that would be his downfall there. He’s the kind of guy who would go to a bachelor party and spend the entire weekend on the penny slots, back to the stage with the strippers and sipping on NA White Claw.

I can see it now, Vikings win that Sunday behind a steady but not amazing performance from Sam Darnold to move up to 4-3, nothing crazy, we’re .500 as we should be during this transition time but it was a fun game. Monday night rolls around and its Kirk doing Kirk things, racking up some yards but failing to score and going 3 and out, camera cuts to Atlanta’s GM that has the all too familiar look of ” What did I just waste a bunch of money on?” Atlanta loses 38 to 24. Half the fanbase will blame the defense, meanwhile the other half will blame the Offense not scoring for 2 quarters and going three and out as well as the 3 turn overs, all of which involved Kirk but werent his fault. Im so glad thats not our problem any more.

I only lost one of my elite 8 teams in the March Madness pool at work, and I am in 24th place out of 29 people.
Any other year, I would be threatening to win, but everyone is killing it this year.
Same, Kentucky is my only one out of the elite 8 and I am in 7th of like 18. I need Creighton to go on a run and it will shoot me up the board but sadly a lot of other people have UNC going all the way as well so. I doubt I get first.

I just kinda did the opposite of what I did last year, I had way too many upsets going last year and my brackets were dead early. So I had one or two pretty obvious upsets early and then just had the better/higher ranked teams winning then on and so far its worked out.
I don’t participate in MM anymore, I decided to stop forcing myself to pay attention when I do not care at all about CBB

I just had a grocery store cinnamon roll that I heated 20 seconds in the microwave. In my opinion, it was better than a fresh Cinnabon.

Also, a guy my brother worked with wanted to put up a hog confinement in between the treatment plant and JBS. He was told that the smell of the hog lot would be too intense that close to the city.

I think the team is better now than they were in November/December. QB of Darnold is an upgrade over Mullens/Dobbs/Hall but a downgrade over “he who is no longer to be named”
Defense has improved, even while losing Hunter and a few other starters.
Draft will be entertaining, for once. I am fine if they take best player available and stand pat with picks 11 & 23, as long as they get a QB in round 1 with one of those picks.

Darnold:Cousins, may be a wash. Darnold does things with his feet that Cousins doesn’t do, and Cousins does things with his arm that Darnold doesn’t do. The difference may be what is between the ears.
Cousins arm talent and brains puts him well above Darnold. IMHO.
