reminds me of when was growing up, if us kids were ever in serious trouble, my dad would call us into the 4 season porch, and he would close the doors, and thus started the infamous “porch talks”…downright hated getting those talks.

Same. I get an eclectic mix of people walking around my neighborhood. We have a lady named Pat that lives nearby and uses the bus stop that sits on the opposite corner from my home. She’s severely handicapped and labors to walk and she walks everywhere. She loves dogs and when she comes by I make a point to bring Goose out – he’s really gentle with her – and she seems to enjoy it quite a bit.
Still have a couple of LPD officers that ‘walk the beat’ – they’ve got a satellite office at a nearby rec center so occasionally they’ll stroll by and shoot the breeze. I respect them enough when I see them coming I put my joint in a stamper – but they always can smell it and often will comment on my choice of ‘air freshener’ – they have bigger fish to fry and leave me be in that regard. I appreciate that very much.
That’s neat. I have no idea why folks seem to have such a problem with sitting out on the porch. I see a fair amount of wildlife and I like that too.

It might be that my horizons have been expanded beyond a Casey’s donut at this point. I went to a gourmet bakery once, and their interpretation of a donut altered my perception of what a donut can be.

I played golf at the Oklahoma University Golf Course, the Monday after they hosted the NCAA championship one year. I have complained about the conditions of every course I have ever played since.

There is a bakery in St. Peter that is quite good: Diamond Dust. It is right off Gustavus Adolphus College. Had a donut there once that was sublime. It wasn’t even a crazy flavor, just perfectly done from texture to icing.

Gonna depend on what type of returner they think they need. The new rules should lead to more returns, but teams could go a lot of different directions with it. It could mean some big changes on what other personnel they keep as well. In the past you saw a lot of DBs and LBs make the team for special teams. Teams could decide to keep a few more lineman though. I could see there being quite the variety this year from team to team.
Think they should find a position player to do it, add more depth.
