Great game by Pablo, 8 shutout innings with only 2 hits and 14 KOs.
Twins win 3-0 to spit the series in Oakland 2-2.

Climate Activists are among the stupidest people around.

Not only do they believe that climate has only starting changing recently as opposed to always but they also seem to believe that pissing of the rest of the world with their antics will garner support for their views.

Thats Lifer level thinking right there.

These people need to be arrested and charged with being a public nuisance on private property, and also potentially endangering innocent bystanders. We must put our foot down when “activists” violate our rights. They can protest in places they make proper arrangements for, and schedule with public officials. Not trounce all over events that did not invite them. The Travelers should sue them for millions of dollars.

Last year, Baker Mayfield threw for the most yards (4,044) and touchdowns (28) in his career. He also had his best completion percentage (63.4 percent) and his second-highest quarterback rating of 94.6. People labeled him an outstanding QB and he was named to the Pro-Bowl.

Hate to say it, but those are pedestrian numbers for being the best he’s ever played.

Jets have built a talented team. Last year they only needed “decent” QB play to be really dangerous. With Rodgers going down in the first series of the first game, they struggled.

Well Rickie has played steady if not spectacular golf today, until the 15th hole. He almost aced the par four, leaving his drive about 4 inches from the hole. Tap in eagle, and almost a double eagle. He’s now 6 under for the round, and tied for 13th place with three holes left for him to play.

Rickie Fowler is 4 under for the day through 12 holes, and has only moved up six places on the leaderboard. Currently tied for 18th place. At least he’s not falling apart and falling back though.

Anything interesting going on today?

I am back at the packing/prepping today. Yesterday was like a half day off for us. In the morning got pictures off the walls, cleaned out my desk, made a hardware store run for a float for the toilet as had one that was acting up.

Then SIL, niece and nephew showed up with pizza. We caught up, played a game, sorted thru thru a 100+ games, played another game, visited some more and they left 6pm or so. They took 5 or six boxes of games/misc with them and we are taking about 20 games with us the rest to be donated.

Still have the kitchen, garage and spare bedroom to organize but we have about 12 days to work those. Light at the end of the tunnel? Already have almost full loads for next dump and donation trips.

Go Twinkies (today) and Oilers (Monday) and Olympic Trails in track and field.

Most of my family, friends, neighbors are congratulating us on the move away from Commifornia. Some are asking advice on making their own escape.

Technically we would probably stop with the prep and let the movers take what we want and just leave the rest. But we prefer to downsized, get organized and use this time productively. It all needs to be done either here/now or later when we unpack or set up our Idahome.

Also figuring out that during this dead time we can get this done and be catching our breath when training camp/Olympics/Election get more interesting.
I give the credit to Karma as I sure didn’t plan it that well.

From what I can see some are ‘true believers’ but the liberal majority are not ‘into’ the whole political issues.
They go along with what fake news and politicians tell them and don’t examine the details too much + virtue signaling.

Of course The Coast controls Calif since they have the most population and simply outvote the 2/3rd of the counties that are more conservative.
Kern County were I live is pretty conservative which helps but state policies bleed in and effect us all.

Cameron Young shot a 59 yesterday at the Traveler’s in Cromwell, Connecticut. 11 under par. The course has had a lot of rain, so the greens are soft. Players are starting to throw darts at the flags now. Might see several scores in the low 60’s today.

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey is suing the state of New York over Donald Trump’s hush money trial case.

Bailey posted on social media that he would be filing a lawsuit “against the State of New York for their direct attack on our democratic process through unconstitutional lawfare against President Trump.”

“We have to fight back against a rogue prosecutor who is trying to take a presidential candidate off the campaign trail. It sabotages Missourians’ right to a free and fair election,” he added in a subsequent message.

Golfed a couple days ago. Had shot a 54 on the front.

I was moping a bit on the back nine feeling sorry for myself and the undeniable fact that the severe arthritis in my lower back really negatively impacts my golf game.

Then, I saw a man on the neighboring green with his buddy. He could not stand or walk. He had a 3 wheel golf cart that allowed him to swivel the seat and place it in a position where he could be semi standing to hit his golf ball. His buddy had to pick it up after he was done putting and place his ball on a tee for him. But he was obviously enjoying the round.

Jewish Proverb “I felt sorry for myself because I had no shoes until a met a man with no feet”

This concludes todays sermon.

JR has it right. Not much of a reach from 90 to 85. I think you know, a couple loose shots here and there, can add 5 or 6 shots to your score, very quickly. I also appreciate the story about the disabled guy, who is playing golf, despite his limitations. Always enjoy the day, regardless of how you play.

Thursday I did an early dump run and then shredded a ton of old paperwork. Then we ran into town for a couple of donations stops, dentist appointment, and errands. Once we got home we put a few more hours into sorting/organizing.
Friday I finished the shredding (go me!) then started on closets and junk drawers. I found a box of old pictures/misc that took a few more hours to go thru.
Today a niece and nephew are in town and want to stop by. We are drafting them into going thru the 100s of board and card games that we have. They can take what they want and we will donate the bulk of the rest (lots not even opened).

@Moving is so much fun in case I haven’t mentioned it before.@ Two weeks to go and then the unpacking fun can begin.

He have 4 or 5 big storage shelfs coming and they will be put in the garage. Misc stuff can be put on those until we can work our way thru unpacking/sorting them. I figure half the garage will be storage, hopefully neatly with the shelfs.

Actually, KOC could be in the running. The Vikings ended up 7-10 last year, and the award is supposed to go to the coach who “does the most with the talent he has”. With the QB room the Vikings have, if they win the Division and a playoff game or two, I could see KOC winning the award.

This will be the most important game of the McDavid Oilers era and may well be the most important game in the last 30 years of the NHL. Thousands of new fans tuning in to this storyline with the NBA season over. Fact is that if they can get a game 7 win (and it will be a tough tough win to get in Floridas barn) this series will be talked about for the next 30 years. If anyone has even casual interest you should tune in. A lot of intersecting storylines.

I thought he was going to need to rest up after every play the way he looked but he went back to the huddle and did it again.

Game was aptly named ‘The Epic in Miami’, 5 TDs for Winslow.
