We just finished up kiddo’s last game of the year for 9 year old football. The season was an absolute blast, kiddo had fun playing QB and safety, but he wants to maybe play WR or RB in the future, we’ll see. Coaching the kiddos is an absolute blast, it helps keep me young. I do have to admit, after two months of coaching baseball followed immediately by two months of coaching football, I’m ready for a break. It’ll be nice to have evenings and weekends free so that I can do other important things, such as fishing, and…….fishing.
Vikings/NFL News and Updates:
The Cowboys made a play to try to land Devante Adams, but it wasn’t enough, according to SI.com. The Cowboys offered a third round pick & WR Jalen Brooks, the Raiders reportedly want a 2nd round pick plus additional compensation. Hey, the Vikings are grumbling about moving Jordan Addison, send him & a third round pick to the Cowboys & have Adams & JJ on the same team, that could be friggin lethal.
The Steelers’ Russel Wilson is fittin’ to be active on Sunday for the first time this season, but will still be backing up Justin Fields, according to CBS Sports.

Lions dropping like flies
Always sucks when players get hurt, for sure. Still, not necessarily a bad thing that the Kitties are getting decimated a bit right before they play us. Might be an unpopular opinion, but so be it.

IIRC correctly some Lions fans were celebrating Hock’s injury last season, with placards and all… yeah, wish Hutch nothing but the best and a speedy recovery, but I can’t feel sorry for that fan base.
