Sadly, the Vikings season is over, and we get to watch other teams compete in the tournament. I am rooting for the Redskins and the Bills, but I am also fine with whatever happens. Only the Eagles get my hate-meter going out of the remaining teams, and I like a lot of the Eagles’ players. The fans, however…..
I know this is late today (Saturday), but I do not check in as often since the season is over, and we now kind of wait for Sam to go somewhere else, and for Kwesi to magically add at least two Interior Linemen on the Offense, and at least 1 on the Defense. @I am sure he checks here daily for my advice@
The team in 2025 will look a lot different than this season’s team. While it is a bit discouraging that KoC is owned by his mentor in LA and also by Dan Campbell, at least the first two losses were close. I also need to remind myself that nobody expected 14 wins out of this team this year. I, for one, expected 8-10 and bet the over(7.5 at the time). Happily collected on that bet, and I did enjoy the season. Things are looking up for this team, and while 14 wins will probably not happen next year, I do expect to see the roster be stronger overall.

Nancy Pelosi put out a statement expressing her outrage on this, stating “The President’s actions are an outrageous insult to our justice system”. Actually, the Democrats legal pursuit of Trump have been an outrageous insult to our justice system for a decade now. Then of course, Biden pardoned his entire corrupt family, or at least the members who were involved in their lucrative and widespread influence-peddling operation. He also preemptively pardoned a bunch of folks to prevent Trump from properly and appropriately prosecuting them.
That was an insult to the rule of law, and an insult to the intelligence (and will) of the American people.

Just got back from playing 9 holes. Shot 39 on a par 35. I actually hit the ball too good today, and sailed a few greens for bogeys. Hit the ball very nicely off the tee, and hit my irons very well too. I only putted decent. Did hit the flag with a chip shot that almost went in though. Nice par save from just left of the green. Played with a couple guys in their early 20’s, who could hit the ball a mile. Beat them both. Grin.

Thanks. It was a good round, and a pleasant round. I hit a really good tee shot down the right side with a little draw, to start the round. Then hit a nice 6 iron to the center of the green. So that start kind of got me rolling.

We are in Hawaii for a grueling CME course (you may doubt me, but UCSF puts on a challenging and very rewarding course every year, I learn a lot of valuable information that has a lot of impact on patient care over the years…25 hours of CME/yr at a time). Watched DET game on the flight over. I only have to say…NFC North sucks. Over 12 years since our division has had a team in the Super Bowl and with three teams in playoffs a grand record of 0-3.
However, I am happy I get to relax and not give a f* about football. Long time members of DN/SkH may remember I was sitting at the bar here at Fairmont Orchid during Minneapolis Miracle. While that was fun at the time very thankful Vikings shit the bed this year as I have more pleasant things to do on a Sunday afternoon in Hawaii than watching Darnold wilt.
