This is the lie of the left though. The party’s did now switch sides. There were Democrats who led political efforts against blacks, who lost their elections, then later ran as Republicans and won. I heard a rumor that the Lions are sniffing around. Wouldn’t be surprised if they give McCown or McCardell a shot at OC.
I say if the offer either of them a OC position, we let Phillips go and keep whoever they want as our OC.
I’d be ok with that. I’ve also heard McCown is waiting for a head coach position. Sounds like the Texans were pretty close to hiring him a couple of years ago. I haven’t heard a lot about McCardell but I would be surprised if he isn’t given an opportunity somewhere.
McCown or McCardell going from position coaches to HC is unlikely.
If they want our OC, Phillips, they can have him, KOC does most of that work anyway.
I know they were preseason games, but I thought Phillips did a good job of calling them.
I wish KOC would give up the play calling and be a HC.

This article makes it sound like, if you let a player go instead of extending him, and you do not pick up a free agent of the same position, you get a comp pick.
That would make sense as to why we got a comp pick for Cousins, but not Hunter.
I always thought it was overall contract size of players let go and picked up.
Nobody knows the equation but it is supposed to be overall contracts out and in on unrestricted free agents.
It will be difficult to get any comp picks for this year, because we are going to be signing a bunch of FAs, hopefully.

Could be, but it would make sense. If it is true and Darnold gets a healthy contract, that would be a nice comp pick.
Looked it up, if a team lets more UFAs go than they bring in, they are eligible for a comp pick. I believe the contract size only determines which pick the team gets. It is not positioned base.
I assume we will be letting 10-15 UFAs go, but we will probably sign just as many, if not more, due to only having 4 picks in the draft.

Has the snow/winter storm moved on yet?
Yes, it has moved on. It is now sunny and the snow is starting to melt. However, that means lots of ice on the roads, which means, lots of car accidents….good ol Florida drivers…several roads and freeways are closed right now.
I see lots of GIFs and Memes of trucks with snowmen in the back and snowmen built on fountains and the like.
Looks like southerner’s are having some fun with it, when they are not driving of course.

Todays my Friday! Headed to Deadwood tomorrow for a quick ski/snowboard trip with some friends. They’ve been getting some good snow down there and just got 14″ last night, looking forward.
Quite coincidentally, today’s my Friday as well. I’ll be going to Feldkirch in Vorarlberg tomorrow with a bunch of friends, supporting our local hockey team at their away game. Should be a fun 14 to 15 hour bus ride (there and back again), enhanced by a few cold ones, and hopefully crowned by a Black Wings win. 🏒

Iv been all over. Jackson hole, Tahoe, Red Lodge, White Fish, Breck, A basin and all of those around there, Steamboat etc. Its less of a mountain and more of a hill but they got some good snow actually so, should be fun.
Big Sky is pretty sweet. I’ve never been to Bridger Bowl but I guess it’s pretty good.
