Wow, yesterday got crazy on me. A cleanout was dropped on me without warning, which is rare, but we’ve been trying to get this thing finalized for what seems like years, so as soon as they said I was authorized ot remove the former ownter’s belongings from the property, I put everything else on the backburner & got on it. The former owner’s new husband is a paralegal who thinks he’s more knowledgeable about the law than any attorney in history, and he’s an idiot. Anyway, it’s been a long road trying to get this thing to the finish line, but we’re almost there. I got two full loads of stuff out yesterday, and all I have to do this morning is go back and load up about half a dump trailer of garbage then take it to the dump. Then, we get to go to my shop & look through everything & see if there’s anything cool to keep. A vast majority of it will get donated.
The Aaron Rodgers to the Vikings rumor is being kept alive by the same dumbass who started it in the first place. I’m convinced that she doesn’t even have an inside source who told her this stuff, I think she pulled it straight out of her rectal cavity. I think that’s the case with most unnamed sources, the journalist jsut thinks it might happen & would be a click generating story, so they reach back and pull an “unnamed source” or an “unnamed NFL exec” out of their rear end.

Did I mention on here that I got a new (to me – used with 250 hours) tractor with a cab? I love tractors. I should as when new they cost about what a Corvette does.

What you use a tractor for?
I have two tractors now, just little ones, my grandpa would be proud (he worked a section and a half in Alberta, I helped him (read rode on the fender of the open tractor) some times when I was 5 or 6).
The SCUT, a 1025R, has 23 hp. It’s a hard little worker but has (liquid filled) turf tires on it so struggles with loads heavier than 500 pounds, spins out on hard baked soil, and is open so I freeze my ass moving snow in the winter and bake in the sun moving shit in the summer.
The new CUT, a 3046R, has 46 hp and a nice air conditioned cab, wheel weights, RimGuard in the tires, and ag tires. Can just handle more tasks, pull bigger implements, etc…It’s oh about 7 3/4 feet tall, no 8 series monster for sure.
What do I use them for? Saving my back mainly. Tractors are made to pull, skidsteers to lift, but tractor implements are cheaper and tractors are way more comfortable with better visibility.
I: move manure from here to there for my plants and trees, dig out fence posts, carry lawn furniture back and forth from storage, blade snow, mow, spread gravel and smooth gravel on the road, till, rake, disk, dig a hole here and build up dirt there, move big old rocks weighing up to 600 pounds from the hills to landscape around our place, and quite often just sit on the tractor and enjoy the bliss of life on the open prairie.

Health is a very big factor. Any team that loses key players will be unable to compete. Not one key player, multiple key players.
Luck definitely plays a role. We have seen balls bounce off goal posts the wrong way, and the right way to win/lose games. We have seen balls bounce off defenders, that are caught for TD’s. We have also seen balls bounce of receivers for interceptions.
Finally, the ref’s can, and do affect the outcomes of games. Right, wrong, good, or bad, they do.
So just because you start the year with a strong roster, a good coaching staff, and good health, doesn’t mean you will make the playoffs or get to the Super Bowl.
Health is a huge factor, all levels. I’m hoping we get stellar play and health on O-line if rolling with JJ. @(or a-rodg)@
Definitely, and I think the two moves we made on the O-line in the off season were excellent. Barring injuries, I think we’ll be very good on offense. This is KOC’s 4th year with the offense. Most mature we have been on that side of the ball in a long, long time.

Imagine having a scan and you have a 2 mm pulmonary nodule…if you ask the AI for a prediction of what will happen with that nodule in the next 25 years I bet it pulls a meta-analysis of large scale trials and case reports and gives a high likelihood of it becoming cancer.
No human would ever attempt to predict the super bowl winner 25 years or more from now.
Not to mention that it takes opinions from across the internet from all the biased reporters. It doesn’t think for itself. It is only as smart as the inputs which is why Chinese AI will fall behind. You can’t build a robust AI system when that knowledge base is founded on lies and very select data.
Maybe Norway will get upset about us using the viking name and we will change our name to Monarchs. AI for the win!

I’m about 50% Scandinavian (mostly Swedish) and if that happens I will go and protest loudly. Of course protesting loudly is not really in my Scandinavian genes, so more than likely I will just complain to my wife and do nothing.
Some folks think based on recent QB contract extensions in relation to the salary cap, Brock Purdy has a strong case to make for a deal that comes close to Dak Prescott’s $60 million per year.
There are some QB’s out there accounting for 21 to 25 percent of the salary cap.
I don’t remember what KCs % was that said doomed the Vikings since I am old.

I think when you combined the Cousins, Cook, Thielen, Barr, and Hitman contracts though, they were taking up a good chunk of the cap.

There was some group of guys on NBC talking about Sam Darnold’s contract, and saying it’s misleading because of guaranteed money, sharing why the Seahawks might cut Darnold after only one season if they implode in 2025.
I hope Sam has a good year, but it might be difficult with the SeaHawks.
I fully expect Sam to do “ok” in Seattle, but they will probably move on after this season. For sure I expect them to draft a QB next season either way.
