hey, sorry I forgot to post the thread. We’ve been out fishing pretty much all weekend. We’re actually out fishing now, so I’m posting this from my phone. I hope everyone’s weekend is going as good as ours is.

I just did a search for “Minnesota Vikings blogs”, we showed up on page one. Holy hell, that is an insane accomplishment. Thanks everyone!

Page 2, but that was under MN Vikings news & not sure if it was Bing. I did the search specifically to see where we were, was beyond surprised to see us on page one.
When we first started this, I remember talking with Mick & Skolly, we figured it would take years to get to page one. This is actually pretty quick, especially considering we haven’t put a ton of effort into promoting & stuff like that. Once we add some content creators & stuff like that, it could really take off. I just want to make sure we stay how we are, keep doing what got us here.
We are all just happy to have a fun, welcoming place where we can chat and joke about the Vikings and anything else that comes up.

Cleaned up that rod and reel that I caught the other night
Someone probably took out bad fishing on the fishing pole.
Much like bad golfers take out bad golfing on the clubs.
If you troll and take a short break, leaving rod on boat rail it can happen, saw it once. Same with shore fishing, They can drag them off.
It was all buttoned up, jig was hooked onto the rod, like it was stored. Really odd. Had 2 ounces of weight on it, lot of weight.
Odd, i suspect human error.
I assume so, too. It cleaned up nicely, gonna take the reel apart & oil the gears, then put new line on.
Looked online, new price is $200 for the reel & $100 for the rod.
I have seen it said here that Rypien is better than Howell but I have also heard it said that Brosmer is better than Rypien.
No idea at this point. Just know that JJ (QB) is the 2nd coming and that KOC will sort out the rest. I am good with that.
‘Brosmer should be able to displace Brett Rypien as QB3- it would be disappointing if he didn’t’.

I dunno, they kept him on the roster, they must not dislike him.
Well they only had him and JJ (QB) at that point. He was cheap and already under contract so why now?
When one looks at our various QB’s, we have a bit of an eclectic group. Rypien and McCarthy have the most time on task with the offense, and greatest understanding of what the scheme is trying to accomplish. Of course they also have an established rapport with both players and coaches as well.
I’m not overly impressed with Sam Howell, but we traded for him. Maybe KOC sees something he likes, or maybe he felt Howell was an experienced starter, he could manage well enough to win games with.
As to Brosmer, he may be just a sentimental selection for Minnesota. In camp you need four arms. We have four arms now. One will not make the team.
As long as the one not making the teams is not JJ (QB) I am fine with it.
Might be a cheap but serviceable option.
Originally a Pucker but more recently a Bill which should knock some of that FTP stank off of him.
Of course Flo knows best if he is a fit and KAM decides if he is worth the cost.

There have been a few signings, yes.

And KAM is going to sign our draft picks, and some UDFA. Or are UDFA signed when they ‘agree to terms’??
I think they’re signed immediately. The draft picks have to work out a contract.
Sounds about right.
The contracts for drafted players have parameters, takes longer to negotiate with the agent. The UFAs have little to no parameters.
