It’s the last day of school here in Bismarck. Kiddo is stoked, he does well in school, but does NOT like sitting in a classroom all day. You can tell he’s my son. As soon as school lets out, we’re jumping in the family truckster and heading east towards Minneapolis. Kiddo is taking part in the Justin Jefferson youth football camp on Saturday evening, he’s really excited to meet JJ. It looks like a really cool event, we’ll definitely put a story together to share with everyone.
Not much football news out there, folks. Training camp isn’t far away.
Vikings News
From Vikings.com, the Athletic dabbles with a ‘dream team’ for the 2028 Olympic flag football team.
The Vikings will be making several guest appearances on Hard Knocks at the end of the 2025 season, per Fox Sports.
SI.com thinks that the Vikings would be a great landing spot for Jalen Ramsey, who does not want to remain a Dolphin.
NFL News
The Steelers’ Alex Highsmith says the Aaron Rodgers wait isn’t a distraction, and they’ll be excited to have him if he shows up, per NFL.com. LOL, sure, not knowing who your starting QB isn’t a distraction at all.
NFL.com reported that Aiden Hutchinson is fully recovered from the broken leg he suffered in 2024.

Apparently, the elected President of the United States is not allowed to perform any actual Executive Actions. He is just a figurehead and is powerless.
He can’t fire federal employees, he can only hire them as a full time employee until the employee decides it’s time to quit.

Many Reblicans are crying spending is out of control. Even some dems are saying so especially after the recent bill passed the House.
But our Chief Executive of the Federal Government is not empowered to do anything about it.
Well FJB showed that we really don’t need a President.
His staff can handle anything that needs handling.
If the figurehead gets out of control and actually tries to do something, well that is what courts are for.

Cant make it up – these people have mental illnesses and trauma, they should not be able to hold any job that may affect other people in a life and death situation. Period. Im sick of seeing this degenerates on news stories looking like cave trolls and having high position jobs.

ONE BIG difference between the thunder and wolves, thunder defenders are way more relentless than us AND they hit open shots. we can’t seem to hit an open shot to save our lives
True on both points, although OKC couldn’t hit 3s last night either, they first game they shot 52%.
For the Wolves to beat OKC they have to play nearly flawless basketball. They are not. They are shooting about 28% from three land on the series, and its not because of OKCs defense, their 3s for the most part are pretty open. They need to be shooting 40%.
They have been unable to stop their propensity to turn the ball over.
I don’t see it changing.

It was good…..game sucked though. I managed to limit myself to 4 small beers over 4 hours…great self control on my part. Food was good, popcorn was good wait staff was good.
