We are inching closer to the best time of the year. Football. Some things are happening at OTA’s, and the hype machine has begun. Kwesi got paid, and I am glad. He has had some misses in the draft, but the overall roster is much stronger than the one he inherited. Window for a championship is wide open for a few years. Time to get it done. I tried watching NBA and NHL in my sports-deprived state, and just cannot. NBA is silly, with the flopping and traveling on every play. And with the NHL, I am not emotionally vested at all, since Norm Green sucks. I will root against Dallas in all sports, so there is my rooting interest.

Unlike Kirko, who wants to retire a Falcon, most players on the Vikings team did show up for OTA’s, and are working on building chemistry. I expect this team to be a lot of fun to watch.

JJ (QB) is #2?
The NFL ranks the ‘new QBs’ that NFL defenses should be concerned about.

Not sure how valid this list is since it has The Cry Baby at #1.

I like JJ and KOC for just what they are. But anyone who has a fear list with Justin Fields in it at this point loses all credibility with me.
By the way you might find Mark Levin’s opening monologue tonight insightful on the legal aspects of the tariffs issue.
Levin is ‘preaching to the choir’ with me.
But he does an excellent job of clarifying and laying out the logic of the issues.
How would #1 on the list not be Jayden Daniels? I wouldn’t even be mad if they put Bo Nix ahead of JJ at this point just because he played last year.
I think the article is focusing on ‘NEW” QB/Play Calling duos.
I think Bo and Jayden have the same play callers as last year.
ie The CryBaby having a new coach calling plays.
Started looking at tickets for the Bengals game.

I agree. It is very cool to be there in person, but shelling out that kind of money is hard for me. I’d rather pay my airfare to somewhere warm in the middle of winter.
I’m surprised you’re not seeing more of those bars with the big screen that makes it feel like you’re at the game. That or VR subscriptions that let you feel like you’re at the game.
It sucks that hard working middle income people can’t afford to take the family to a pro game. Haves and have nots.

Cancer sucks. It seems like I know a lot of people who have been fighting cancer the last couple years compared to the other 35 years of my life. Young, old and everything from colon to brain to childhood leukemia.
It early but I am already thinking about taking a nap.
I did that earlier this week. Woke up at 5am and couldn’t go back to sleep and ending up taking a power nap while watching TV later in the day.
Evidently 4 hours of sleep won’t quite do it for me. Six is about average my average.
Little groggy this morning….stayed up to watch that incredible Twins game last night.
3 runs in the 9th to send into extra innings and 6 in the 10th to win it.
They kept fighting, got to give them that.
