Yep. I remember telling everyone I had no confidence in Griffin being able to run an NFL offense. Had a lot of folks rebuff me. Kyle Shanahan brilliantly took the Baylor playbook and tweaked it a bit, but used all the Baylor play call verbiage, so Griffin didn’t have to learn anything. The strategy worked in his Rookie year. All one read or zero read throws, and read option plays. Then Snyder kicked Mike Shanahan to the curb after Griffin told him he couldn’t work with Shanahan. Gruden came in with a real NFL offense, and Griffin proved he could not run a pro set.

It’s not that close to the target itself but I wouldn’t want to shoot past it like that but this guy’s pretty good. I’ve watched a lot of his videos. He does a couple where he soaks guns, freezes em and sees which will still shoot that are cool.

He finished at 8 under par, and tied for the lead. He goes out at 10:35 tomorrow. That’s a good place. He can see what the guys going out early are doing, then can put some pressure on the guys going out late.

OK he just birdied the 15th hole to get to 9 under par with three holes to play.
Looking at overall scoring, must not be a real hard test of golf. Still, when Scottie is on, he’s the best.
Well Scottie bogeyed the 17th, to drop a shot. This course is one of the shorter course on tour, so players are hitting wedges into every hole on their second shots. The greens don’t have a lot of movement either. The fundamental defense is elevation changes and blind shots.

I found a card in a book today that appears to be from the 1950s (both the book and the card). The book store states that they are specialists in anti-communism literature. I purchased a lot of books back in 2016 from someone that had purchased the books from a conservative talk show host from California. There are many political type books from the 50s and 60s. I have sold a fair amount of them already. They told me the talk show hosts name, but I can’t remember. I think his first name was Stan.

Playing an easy (slope 107) par 35 nine holer in about an hour. Shot a 40 there yesterday….Looking for something slightly better today, would love to break 40.

Shot a 41…O.K. half way through the round I figured out on this small town course I need to hit every putt at least hard enough to go 2 feet by because they don’t use the pin setter thingies resulting in a little mound at the hole…can hardly see it but it is there. So you cant have your putts dying near the hole or they are more likely to slide off course.
The old volcano effect… yep. I have experienced it. 41 is a good score though (to me). You may or may not know, the average golf score for amateur golfers typically ranges between 90 and 100 strokes for an 18-hole round.
Only 20% of amateur golfers shoot under 90.

Should Trump have. to get Congress approval/consent to take out the nuclear facility in Iran?
If he turns it over to Congress it will be months before anything is decided and chances are they will decide along political lines.
Bomb the facility at the request of Israel? Ok, but our troops in the region will be targeted.
Get anymore involved in the wider range of the war? No thank you.
Put boots on the ground in Iran, No Never!!

I am a No in this case but really have or see long term implications.
Iran was and maybe still capable of days from a bomb. They may be able to put together a dirty bomb tomorrow, slip it in an ICBM and shoot it off at Israel.
We cannot let that happen. And as you say, Congress would argue for months on this, and there are several Repubs disputing the Presidents power and as such it might not pass either.
But in the long, don’t like the idea of a Biden, or even a Bush for that matter, making this call. Can’t have it both ways I guess.
Congress has the power to ‘declare war’.
A single strike to eliminate a nuclear threat is not ‘a war’.
Can Isreal take the site by itself? The more that they eliminate Irans capabilities the more the chances are that they can, putting special ops troops on the ground.
Not sure they can and even if they can, it will take time and lots of people are going to get hurt in the interim.
They already have air superiority over Iran and so they can destroy all the the defenses at the site prior to going in.
Special forces can plant explosives and destroy the facilities.
Will it take longer and be much more risky than us using the Big Beautiful Bomb? Of course. But even after using the BBB someone would have to go in and make sure the job was completed.
Ok, if we want to be hands clean, let’s just give them the bomber and the bombs – they can fly the mission and we can saw were just helping which we are saying now anyway.

Not sure how long it would take to train Isrealies to fly the stealth bomber and use the BBB system. It seems rather complicated and a fully trained team would be required.
Maybe just assign a few of our pilots and crews to their AF for a while. Call it training a training exercise.

In my opinion, yes we would need either a declaration of war by congress or a use of force resolution.
Directly bombing a nuclear facility in another country would have to be considered an act of war. No way he can do that without congressional action – unless he is a king or a dictator.

I would suggest that resolution requires an update. I mean he could theoretically start a nuclear war with no congressional action. Not sure I am on board with that.

The speed of events means that the President has to be able to respond quickly, often immediately, and notify Congress after the fact.

This is why you better choose wisely, when choosing a President. As the leader of the country, many serious responsibilities fall to the President. He or she must be the decider. Trump’s peace through strength agenda works. Every President should understand, and follow this concept. There are many Nation States and other organizations and groups out there that want us to fall. Only a leader who establishes strength as a fundamental tenet for the country should be the President. Constitutionally no. He is the Commander in Chief, and responsible for National Security. He is authorized to use the military to protect the Nation. Taking out a nuclear threat to the country does not require approval from Congress. Declaring war does.

The NFC North has become a really tough Division. The Lions under Campbell have become a very strong, competitive team. Hard to beat. The Packers have been very good for a long time. The Vikings have had their ups and downs but this version is strong and competitive too. The Bears think Caleb Williams will be a HoF QB…

Doubt the hospital was targeted specifically, they are just aiming at cites and causing whatever damage that they can. Death and destruction is the goal. If they were capable of aiming at hospitals/schools/etc they would.

There will be a mixed reaction. Some in Iran will be happy. They want regime change. Some will be angered and want to take vitriolic action against the U.S. and Israel. No matter what though, taking out the Supreme Leader will force the country (under its current Governmental structure) to select a new one.

He is not elected by the people but chosen exclusively by an 88 member clerical body, called the Assembly of Experts. Members of this assembly are elected in a two-tier process. First, the Guardian Council will screen all eligible candidates and select those which they find most agreeable. Out of those special candidates, the common people will elect an 88-member assembly. This body is established already, and they will pick the next Supreme Leader.
As long as the other Arab States in the region are ok with it, even just privately, and they are the ones to help put Iran back together so we don’t try to do the ‘nation building’ thing, cause we suck at is historically, then I am fine with talking out the ass-hat.
Believe most all the Arab world has little love for this regime and would welcome change, whether they admit it or not. There will be no tears.

Well in the September game at Lambeau, he threw for 389 yards and 4 TD’s (plus 3 interceptions) but in the December game, he threw for 185 yards and 1 TD. So at the beginning of the season, he did throw all over us, at the end of the season, he didn’t. Maybe Flores figured something out over the season. If that rolls over to this season, Love may not be feeling the love against us.
