The weather has been pretty mild, but just a bit cool at Royal Portrush today. Wind hasn’t been much of a factor. Scottie Scheffler is just getting his day underway. He’s 3 under par, which is tied for 10th, and is 7 feet from birdie on the first hole. Looks like he’ll make a move today.
OK, looks like it’s starting to rain, so the weather is changing.

I’d rather live down here where it’s hotter than hell but no state taxes and a great governor. We also seem to have enough electricity to run our AC’s as much as we want and there is water in our fire hydrants..

They didn’t discuss High Cost of Living, Crime, Terrible Government, Wildfires, Mudslides, or any of the other dozens of reason Calif is becoming a toilet. They just ref the weather.
But I grew up lazy because the weather was perfect every day. No harsh winter to prepare for, no crazy heat to endure, no dangerous humidity. Us kids thought perfect weather was ‘normal’.
Heck, my Nana didn’t experience snow until she was visiting my brother in her 90s. SB thinks 30 MPH winds are dangerous, 90 degree heat is a crisis, if there is ever frost in the morning it is Front Page News

Thank goodness I don’t fly much so it has never happened to me, but I would be mighty PO’d if my flight had to turn back for a passenger being unruly.

10 years after ‘breaking ground’, 5 years after it was suppose to be completed, now projected to cost $135B (originally $30B) and take decades more to complete.
The project was suppose to cover 800 miles from LA to SF now reduced to 181 miles. So far Zero track has been laid. Sec Duffy said they could have given every resident of those cities almost 200 free flights for the money spent.
