Somali gangs have become a serious and growing threat to public safety in Minnesota, with most of them being involved in violent crimes, drug trafficking, and disrupting neighborhoods, putting countless families at risk. However, left-wing politicians seem more interested in protecting politically correct narratives than reporting the hard truth.
House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) highlighted the growing trend of Somali gangs wreaking havoc in his state.
“Unfortunately, the failing press in Minnesota, especially in the Twin Cities, is not. These Somali gangs are incredibly dangerous,” Emmer said. “We had an attack at a high school basketball game last spring where a Somali gang came in and started beating a kid on a bench with a tire iron.”
Emmer also recalled a tragic shooting tied to a Somali gang that took place during a graduation ceremony at the University of Minnesota. He expressed frustration that the incident received no coverage from the Minnesota media.

A local NBC News affiliate in California spoke with Chad Smith of Smith Tomato Farm, who reported a major uptick in business over the past few months. Smith explained that nearly two decades ago, the region was home to over ten tomato farms—but now, only a handful remain. However, he noted that the recently reinstated 17 percent U.S. tariff on imported tomatoes is finally giving American growers a fighting chance, offering much-needed relief to farms that have been struggling to stay afloat.

Christian Darrisaw is working his way back from a torn ACL and might not be full-go when training camp practices begin this week. That said, the Vikings haven’t placed him on the physically unable to perform list (PUP list). Two Vikings rookies, however, are starting the season on the PUP list.
The Vikings announced today that tight end Gavin Bartholomew and outside linebacker Chaz Chambliss are beginning camp on the active PUP list. That means they can’t practice but are allowed to participate in meetings and rehab. They do still count towards the 90-man training camp roster.
I can’t imagine anyone named ‘Chaz’ making it in the NFL.

I have to say, Jerome Powell seems to be playing politics at the Fed. While pretty much every President complains about the Fed, in this case, I think there is something there to complain about. There is no economic reason for maintaining such high interest rates. Powell simply must know that once he drops rates, this economy is going to explode. Thus, the only reason for keeping the rates high, is to limit the economy and try and prevent Trump from attaining another huge win.

I agree, because I think our receiving corps and scheme will make life easy on him. These guys know when to sit in a hole in a zone, and when to run through it. McCarthy has the benefit of receivers that know a lot more about NFL defenses, and defenders, than he does. He’ll have open throws. Lots of them. He’ll likely rarely have to come off his first look. I think he’ll be very solid. KOC will call the play and tell McCarthy where to go with the ball.

Came out of the store Saturday to find a big crack in my windshield on my 750i. I have no idea what caused it. I went online with USAA this morning to make a claim. Man, easy peasy. The process took about 2 minutes, and the Safelite repair guy will be here Wednesday morning to replace the windshield. They did try to “upsell” me with a set of new wipers for $107, but I declined it. I replaced my wipers about a month ago. No cost to me for the repair.

Well my personal experience is, having owned this car for three years now, it’s a great car. No mechanical or electronic issues whatsoever. Huge car, with massive legroom in the back. It qualifies as a limousine in Europe. I love picking friends up at the airport in it.

I haven’t seen that much in response to a few claims I’ve made over the years. For instance, my wife’s 2022 Dodge Challenger RT got scraped in a parking lot and had a significant dent which required a couple days in the body shop, and a rental car, and our rates didn’t change.

Yeah, that’s where I saw it! 44 inches of legroom in the back and a trunk that can carry a lot of luggage coupled with a twin turbo V-8 really sold me though. Super comfortable, powerful, and just an impressive car. As I said, the one thing I splurged on for myself in my life. Dark blue with a beige interior. Wife calls it “Big Blue”.

On the back side of a quick trip to Calgary and back. Yesterday, at the Regina airport, got my sole piece of luggage (a small backpack) completely unpacked and swabbed for residue prior to entering screening area, repacked it, had a screener tell me I could keep my watch on which set off metal detector, told I should never wear my watch. Then I saw my backpack shunted off for secondary screening, for seven minutes they carefully inspected everything until they finally asked where the car key was they could see on X-ray.
was all prepped for a repeat today, standing in a long general security line and after the line hadn’t moved for five minutes I was laconically asked to come over to swab station. Ah here we go I thought. Only, she just swabbed a couple of areas and then let me go to the express screen station which shave a good twenty minutes of time and I breezed through with no more issues.

At our recent return flight to Orlando had a ‘wonderful’ experience with them. At the gate, we were all refrisked and tested for explosives etc. I asked this is strange what is going on. Terry McLaurin is still waiting to get a contract deal done with the Redskins. He is a GREAT receiver. I think the Chargers should swoop in and make a trade for him right now. Pair him with Herbert and he’ll have a great year.
McLaurin still has this year on his contract, so the Redskins don’t have to do anything, but he’s frustrated that they haven’t approached him about an extension. I would call that foolish of the Redskins, and if they don’t see McLaurin fitting into their long term plans (he’ll be 30 in September) they should trade him now.

Well firstly, the election WAS stolen. Trump was telling the truth. China helped Biden win by printing millions of counterfeit ballots and associated drivers licenses for mail in voting. That is how Biden garnered an unheard of 81M votes.
Secondly trump made a statement. There was no plot, or planning, or execution of multiple persons to create a complete falsehood. A rather insidious falsehood too. They used materials that were completely fabricated (Steele dossier) to not only influence the election, but then impeach him.
That election was over the day/hour PA declared Biden the winner.
Now you can think there was cheating, I can think there was cheating, but nothing on God’s green earth was going to change the result at that point.

Legally, the Constitution makes treason really hard to charge. The founders were very careful when it came to balancing national security and individual rights.
You might note that even the cases of Julian Assange and Edward Snowden, were charged with espionage rather than treason. This illustrates the distinction between these offenses and the high bar set for treason convictions.
Because this isn’t treason. More like an attempt to undermine a duly elected federal official and I’m not sure what laws this is breaking, but sure isn’t right.
