VIKINGS NEWS Training camp will be in full swing tomorrow. Vets report today. I think the first practice with reporters allowed is Thursday, so be ready for all the wonderful hawt taekes about how great/terrible the new QB is with each TD or INT during practices. Less than 3 weeks to the first preseason Vikings game.

looks to me like Josh Allen has really slowed down…
It’s almost like he is moving in Slo-Mo.
In a Truth Social post, President Trump revealed he made the “largest Deal ever” with Japan, that involves “reciprocal” tariffs, resulting in Japan investing $550 billion into the United States, adding that the U.S. will “receive 90 percent of the Profits.” The president promised that the newly imposed tariffs will add hundreds of thousands of American jobs.
He also said that Japan would open their country to trade including Cars and Trucks, Rice and certain other Agricultural Products, and other things.
The amount of new business investment Trump continues to bring in is staggering. Adding hundreds of thousands of new jobs? Go Trump, go!
Here is the report on the deals from the AP.
It is only ‘slightly left leaning’.

Ben Johnson wants Caleb Williams to complete 70% of passes this year.
Great goal… no idea if Caleb has the chops to pull it off.
If they only do ‘screen passes’ he might be able to pull it off.
True
That said, he turned Goff into a 70% completion QB.
CBS and its parent company, Paramount, have agreed to pay President Donald Trump’s presidential library an additional $20 million after previously paying out $16 million as part of a lawsuit settlement stemming from a controversial Kamala Harris interview.
“BREAKING NEWS! We have just achieved a BIG AND IMPORTANT WIN in our Historic Lawsuit against 60 Minutes, CBS, and Paramount. Just like ABC and George Slopadopoulos, CBS and its Corporate Owners knew that they defrauded the American People, and were desperate to settle,” Trump wrote in a Tuesday Truth Social post.
That is why the couldn’t afford to pay ‘what-his-ass’ $40M any more.
Sweet.
Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell was pleased to announce today that three injured players have recovered well enough to be on the practice field for the start of training camp.
O’Connell credited left tackle Christian Darrisaw, right guard Will Fries and wide receiver Rondale Moore for working hard to get themselves physically prepared to practice, even though they won’t necessarily be practicing at 100 percent from day one.
That’s great news.
really, really good news.
everyone has been talking that Darrisaw won’t sstart the season but looking like he willllllllll
I would really like to see Moore in a 4X1 mesh concept, because he can get “uncovered” quickly underneath, and race down the field on the outside. This play was made for a guy like Moore with his singular speed (Moore ran a 4.28 forty leading up to the 2021 NFL draft).
Awesome!
Hi Kathy! Yes, this is very good news as we start training camp tomorrow. I’ve seen several teams that are starting the year with key players on the PUP list. The Titans come into camp with Will Levis now getting surgery on his shoulder, and being out for the year. Let’s hope for good health for the team this season. I think we have a roster right now that can compete for the Division and get into the playoffs.
You know how much I value the OL, especially with a (basically still) rookie QB. So excited to watch JJ, although I understand there will be some rookie mistakes.
Here’s why I think McCarthy can be successful this year. He came from a program under Jim Harbaugh, where he was a part of the offense, not all of the offense. He isn’t going to come in and play hero ball, trying to prove he’s a great QB. He’s going to run the offense as KOC schemes it and calls it. He’ll fit in nicely, and I think he’ll make fewer “rookie mistakes” because of that.
Encouraging, so looking forward to it.
I will say this about Obama, JR… the Supreme Court ruled that former Presidents have immunity from prosecution in the conduct of their official office. That doesn’t mean his actions cannot be made public, and potentially if the case is made his acts were treasonous, then that immunity could be challenged.
The evidence already in-hand proves Obama took illegal actions to undermine Trump, and that he had accomplices who conspired with him. The fact that he led a group of people in this manner could push the charges to treason, not just sedition.
We’ll see.
How about review the Benghazi incident. A US President let a US Ambassador on station get killed by not giving him appropriate (any really) security in one of the most dangerous place on earth.
A US Ambassador gets killed and not one speck got on Obama, or Clinton for that matter.
If you van get away with that, you can get away with anything.
Unfortunately, you are correct about Benghazi. Folks I talk to still feel the burn about it. Then when the Afghanistan withdrawal occurred, a ton of people resigned, and left the DoD and the IC. There are many hundreds of people with direct knowledge of these events (and many more) who want to speak out. I believe that the Trump administration is going to allow them to.
And that Ambassador asked for security help 37 times!!! And all were denied. To this day, I still can’t imagine how a US President could survive an event like that.
Hillary, as the Secretary of State at the time “took full responsibility” but of course no accountability. There were something like ten different investigations that did not find Hillary, Susan Rice, or any other high-ranking Obama administration officials had acted improperly. I think there were many mistakes made though. Incompetent mistakes. One thing that I thought was odd, was there was a group of about 10 CIA security guys there, that Hillary expected to somehow quell the violence going on at the Embassy. She called Petraeus who was the head of the CIA two hours after the attacks started to alert him. Simply put, as you said, Chris Stephens knew the Embassy was in extreme danger for many weeks and requested additional security many times. The State Department did not provide additional security. Who was in charge of the State Department? Hillary Clinton.
Hundreds, wow.
Yep, I’m hearing there is a lot of stir within both the DoD, and the IC about things that went on, and folks are mad as hell.
California, along with 19 other states and the District of Columbia, has filed yet another lawsuit against the Trump administration, for a recent rule barring illegal immigrants from certain federally funded public benefit programs.
The suit, filed on Monday, claimed the new rule was “cruel,” and signaled an abrupt reversal of almost three decades of policy. Since 1997, states have been allowed to extend their programs to illegal immigrants and their families, and reversing the law revokes “essential” benefits, according to California Attorney General Rob Bonta.
Personally I’m against keeping Taxpayer funded aid flowing to illegal aliens.
They can start a state program that gives away stuff to illegals.
Or they can set up a non-profit and give away donated money.
As a Florida resident and tax payer, I don’t want one cent of my taxes to go to those states for this purpose. Now, if they want to use state funding, fine by me.
Tax payer funded benefits for illegals MUST be stopped, as it is an incentive for more illegal immigrants to come.
This is so galling. These politicians have to be voted out of office. They steal our money, and use it try and build a whole new voting base of some 20 million people they allowed to come into the country illegally.
We all know this was always about votes for Dems, as well as increasing House seats in blue states.
Absolutely, and it’s just so insidious…
RIP Ozzy
Bummer news. Prince of darkness, legendary, love his stuff, solo and Black Sabbath
Ozzy Osbourne dead at 76.
RIP.
Legacy/Fake News is not reporting the story.
Maybe this will force them to add least come up with excuses for Obama and his gang.
Sooner or later, Trump will force them to report this. When Bondi charges Obama, it’s gonna hit the fan.
Never going to happen. He’ll be charged the same day the pedophiles Epstein was trafficking kids for are charged and the DNC “bomber” is charged.
This is nothing but theater from Trump to keep giving people false hope that something real is actually going to happen, but it never will.
The more money/influance you have the less justice you have to face.
Trump is going scorched earth now. The Dem’s have been trying to kill him politically with total lies and real sedition. He’s gonna destroy them all.
I wish I could believe that.
Believe it.
Trump can go scorched earth, but still nothing of consequence will come of it.
This is what dictators do, they imprison their opponents. – MSM
You mean like the Dem’s trying to jail Trump? Trying to impeach him? Trying to kill him? You mean like that?
No, the Dems are not dictators, they are just trying to save democracy.
I was just quoting what the media will say if Obama is prosecuted.
Yeah, but real evidence will be coming out that will show ALL the criminal activities that the Dem’s pursued to destroy a political foe. They are in big trouble, and frankly, nothing can save them.
This will be the scandal of the century, and you think news media will ignore it? Also, the news media isn’t stupid. Throwing in with the folks who conducted this conspiracy is a loser for them. They ain’t going down with the Titanic.
They will ignore some things and defend a lot of their side.
Initially yes. But once the tide turns legally, they’ll be bailing, and bailing fast. They already have a serious credibility issue with Biden’s mental decline denials. Now? Yeah, they won’t go down that road again.
You underestimate their stupidity and the funds behind what they are doing (brainwashing and misleading on purpose). They don’t care about credibility IMO.
I don’t underestimate anything.
‘Sometimes you have to kill democracy to save democracy.’
Woke/Libs.
Sometimes you have to eradicate woke Libs to save democracy…
He’s talking scorched earth. That’s all.
As I said, he’s going to bury the Dem’s.
Actually I was once told that justice in this country is for those who can afford it. Seems to ring pretty true.
Wanna bet?
The Vikings will win the SB before Obama sees the inside of a courthouse. That gives Trump about 7 months to make a liar out of me.
I cannot help you with your perspectives, but I guarantee Trump is going to have the Justice Department indict Obama.
No way that will ever happen. Obama is untouchable and his chief protectors are the press and the Judicial System.
I’d bet they don’t even lay a hand on Comey and Brennan.
Folks I talk to say otherwise.
Who is actually going to get the job done?.
It’s going to start with the IC community. There are many folks there already spilling the beans. They are going to testify under oath. They are going to tell the world how their Agencies were weaponized to destroy Trump. There are written directions that will come out too. Hard, indisputable evidence.
You remember Benghazi and the mountain of evidence showing the Obama Administration got a US Ambassador killed, anything come of that?.
When Comey certified a lie to the FISA court, anything come of that?
Brennan lying under oath to Congress, anything come of that?
There’s a picture here.
All that is about to be revisited.
Even if that evidence did exist, the previous administration probably destroyed anything that would be useful.
You really don’t know how things work in the Federal Government. Data never dies.
I agree. Will never happen. Nobody will ever be held accountable for their treasonous behavior (Mayorkas included).
You’re gonna be pleasantly surprised.
Caleb Williams has a better chance at winning MVP this year than any of these people ever being prosecuted.
Yep, it is just a joke. There are never any consequences for those people.
This is definitely going to court. Guarantee it.
Correct.
I think some low level people might get charged.
The big fish never do.
And Obama will have executive privilege and immunity.
Obama will definitely enjoy Constitutional protections. What is going to happen though is the evidence will come out that he broke the law, and led a conspiracy to destroy Trump. Others with no immunity will be prosecuted. The IF here (IMO) is what happens if the President of the United States committed treason. IF that happened, then that immunity may not be available.
Obama Argues He Can’t Be Charged With Treason Since He Wasn’t Born In America
https://babylonbee.com/news/obama-argues-he-cant-be-charged-with-treason-since-he-wasnt-born-in-america
Laughing… nice.
Bondi will never ever charge Obama. If she would just charge Comey and that other jackass Brennan it would be something but either gets much of anything.
And the press will go into full protection mode to cover for Obama.
Trump wants this to be charged. He wants to tear down the Democrat party that defiled him and viciously attacked him from every quarter for 10 years. This will be prosecuted.
Oh, I believe Trump “wants,” but doesn’t much is going to come of this.
I think you’re going to be very surprised JR.
‘A Boy Can Dream’.
Their day of reckoning is coming. There are many, many people in the IC wanting to talk. It will be a bloodbath.
All talk and no action. The elites, especially Dems, are immune from any consequences and will continue to be extremely corrupt with no fallout.
This will be prosecuted. I guarantee it.
Attorney General Pam Bondi announced a major change in sanctuary status for Louisville Tuesday morning as the administration continues its pressure campaign against Democrat mayors and governors for harboring violent criminal illegal aliens.
“In a major victory for the Department of Justice, the city of Louisville is dropping its sanctuary city policies as a result of a strong written warning from my office,” Bondi announced. “This should set an example to other cities. Instead of forcing us to sue you — which we will, without hesitation — follow the law, get rid of sanctuary policies, and work with us to fix the illegal immigration crisis.”
Great news, and great work by Bondi.
She is still a huge disappointment thus far, IMO. Lots of things “on her desk”, but not following through with things or going far enough to arrest people.
Yeah… disappointment. The strongest AG we may have ever had. Prosecuting cases that others ignored, by the dozens. You might take a look at that. She’s killin it.
I try to focus on what she is getting done and give her the benefit of the doubt that certain other things are mired in layers and layers of crap.
Yeah, Legal does not equal Logical.
Throw in activist judges and it is even worse.
Judges are even holding up parts of the BBB that were passed by Congress and signed into law. Really??
https://abcnews.go.com/Health/wireStory/planned-parenthood-wins-partial-victory-legal-fight-trump-123945157
I’ll give her credit when someone important actually gets charged and thrown in jail for breaking the law (Schiff, dem mayors, Fauci, etc.). Until then, mostly just talk and no action IMO.
Only a few 100 more cities to go.
Local media spin on it in link. Everyone knows KY is a red state, but unfortunately, city of Louisville is blue. Except daughter, son in law, and one nephew (former military), all my relatives always vote Dem and still watch CNN and MSNBC, UGH.
https://www.wlky.com/article/louisville-sanctuary-city-immigration-policies/65476454#:~:text=Louisville%20is%20changing%20policy%20to,protect%20undocumented%20immigrants%20from%20deportation.
Yeah, it’s gonna take years for folks to actually get over the programming they have been subjected to for decades. Slowly but surely we have to push back on all this woke logic, and irrational liberal thought. The work Trump is doing now will be the foundation for a return to sanity for the country.
Hope you’re correct. Actually quite a few former Dems did actually wake up over the past few years, but I fear if they haven’t seen the light by now, it might never happen for the rest of them.
Apparently, Jalen Reagor is making some hay with the Chargers in their first week of training camp. Mike Williams decided to retire on the first day of camp, leaving a big hole in their receiving corps.
Herbert to Reagor? OK.
I heard that guy was drafted even higher than JJ (WR) so he has to be good right?
All I know is he sucked for us.
Reagor is so bad. How is he still in the NFL?
No idea… good luck with that Herbert.
Getting picked in the first round affords you some leeway. Everybody thinks they are the coach that can fix em.
reagor will break out when irv smith jr does
Laughing… good call Freezey.
Minnesota Democratic State Sen. Nicole Mitchell plans to resign by early August, her lawyer said Monday.
She has faced calls from fellow Minnesota lawmakers for her immediate resignation since her conviction on Friday in a burglary case where she broke into her step mother’s home to “retrieve” some of her deceased father’s property.
The jury deliberated for three hours before finding her guilty of first-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools.
Mitchell’s resignation won’t necessarily leave the Senate closely tied as initially expected though. Republicans announced the death of a GOP lawmaker later Monday, state Sen. Bruce Anderson of Buffalo, which means Democrats will continue to hold a narrow majority.
She should be been booted out a long time ago. If she was GOP, she would have been immediately.
I admit, this is a goofy story. She broke into her elderly step mothers house to get stuff she wanted that she felt she was entitled to. I mean really, who does stuff like that at 50 years old? Dresses all in black, has lock picking tools, etc.
You can’t make this stuff up.
That A.I. seems like a pretty intelligent dude….
AI makes game-by-game predictions for the Minnesota Vikings 2025 season
Hey NoDakRube.
Can that AI guy keep B-52s from running into commuter jets up there in Minot?
https://www.foxbusiness.com/fox-news-travel/delta-regional-pilot-makes-aggressive-maneuver-avoid-midair-collision-b-52-bomber
That was scary stuff….looks like fault is going to drop into the lap of the Minot Air Traffic control tower….since they were the ones giving directions to the B-52….Although the air base could have intervened if they would have been paying attention, not surprisingly they have a nice radar system and could have noticed that their b-52 was flying into the path of a commercial plane – but again, it looks like the civilian tower is at fault here.
‘it looks like the civilian tower is at fault here’
I understood that the civilian tower doesn’t have the radar the AFB has it and so it is control.
Correct the civilian tower doesn’t have the radar that the AFB has, but the civilian tower was directing the B-52
Obviously Trump’s fault for cutting FAA funding.
Yep, and all the Boeing issues the past 7 years are his fault too, along with their employees mysteriously dying before testifying.
I like Grok better at 13-4, just did it on Perplexity ai and it showed a 9-8 record.
Interesting. AI is basically a set of programmed algorithms, that does comparative analysis. I wonder who came up with the algorithms for this prediction?
Game against the Lions on Christmas is gonna be a must watch.
I doubt they win 5 in a row, then lose 4 in a row, and win the last 8 in a row. Seasons don’t typically go like that. I would guess 11 wins this year at best, 7 at worst. Probably 9 wins is my bet.
It seems like we have played the Chargers a lot over the last few years. Every time the “experts” and the Chargers fans think it will be a total beatdown on the Vikings., yet we seem to be able to beat them every time.
anddddd the season is over…
I reported that yesterday… grin.
well i’m always a day late
…and a dollar short…
Bartholomew…
Man, that’s a deep apostolic cut.
The Vikings are bringing in LB Jihad Ward for a visit today.
Ward played in all 17 games last season under Brian Flores in Minnesota and has 19 career sacks.
So, he was with us last year, and we’re bringing him in for visit? OK.
I assume they are calling it that since he is not under contract anymore.
Seems like they did the last couple of years. bring people in for a conversation and keep them on speed dial in case we had and injury or some such.
He could have an injury they know about from last year that they want to evaluate before re-signing him too.
ok let me see if i am doing this right:
WHAT?!?!? they are bringing in junk, must mean Dallas Turner is a BUSTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Laughing. Dallas Turner is a first round pick, who is still kind of lagging behind the starters. One day, he’ll be a star.
May it be productive and injury free.
Amen
I read Robert Kraft is “done losing”, and he expects Mike Vrabel to get the job done. Stefon Diggs has been brought in as a major “weapon” for Drake Maye which lots of folks have concerns with. I mean Diggs has a history of coming to a team, starting out great, but eventually becoming a problem.
I think the Patriots have won plenty of rings, and they can stay mediocre for the next 20 to 30 years.
The Vikings had 40 players show up on Sunday, including JJ (QB) the rest of the team shows up today. The first practice is Wednesday.
https://www.vikings.com/news/40-players-report-2025-training-camp
Weird. They haven’t called me yet…
Me either… what is UP with these guys?
We need a new agent…
I’ll put in a call to Rosenhaus…
You’ll be pleased to know my re-entry into US at port of Regway was lightning fast. Asked the usual run on question “bringing anymeats tobacco firearms alcohol cannabis products from Canada…?” … welcome home. I think the guys were engaged in an epic ping pong game that I interrupted.
I’m pleased to know you are back and all is well.
TC Starts tomorrow!!!!

Skol
Good morning and SKOL!
Finally going to get some sort of football news.
Obviously the hype train is about to pull out of the station.
FTP
Who’s ready to get excited about highly edited video clips of practice?

Laughing… me too. I do look at sites that cover the NFL across the board and every team is “excited” about their new additions (free agents and draft picks) and looking forward to the Super Bowl.
That said, I feel good about our O-line and D-line changes this offseason. On paper it really looks like we’re a lot better on both sides of the ball. So I’m “excited” about that.
This strikes me as funny and brightens my day.
