I found a nice buy on some cards the other night, and I went and picked them up yesterday. There were some good finds in here and several that we’ve had on our “hope to find” list. I like finding the older cards, like Tarkenton & Rashad.

From Vikings.com, Kevin O’Connell provided his insight on some of the bigger issues in Vikings-land. Also, the way-too-early NFL power rankings have the Vikings ranked from 7th to 16th.
Stephen A. Smith said some dumb things (I know, shocking) again. Now Smith thinks the Vikings were foolish for moving on from Sam Darnold to start McCarthy, per TheSportsRush. I wonder if Stephen saw the last two games of the Vikings’ season last year. Gee, maybe their goals are aimed higher than one-and-done in the playoffs? I dunno.
ESPN’s FPI “predictor” has the Vikings finishing 10-7 in 2025 and making some noise in the playoffs. This same predictor had the Vikings finishing 4-13 in 2024, so take this article with a salt block.

It is confidential, but if the donor is ok with connecting, they can allow it. I’m glad she did.

And Zeph is doing well. Where they are stationed now, preschool is only for 1.5 per day, which is kind of stupid. His mom ordered supplies and they are doing preschool at home this year. That way he feels included since big sister gets to go to school.
We have followed your experience with Zeph, and we have all felt your concern and pain. The only thing we could offer were our prayers and words of support. Hearing that now, after all this, you know who the person was that stepped up like none of us were able to, and actually save Zeph, was an overwhelmingly heartwarming moment. Apparently there was a lot of dust or pollen or something in the air yesterday. We are so happy for you and your family VP. God bless.

Heading out to lunch with my wife. I’m feeling like a nice pork chop meal. Probably go to Texas Roadhouse, because their whole menu is like total comfort food, and those yeast rolls are effing amazing. They even have apple sauce. So good!

OMG that might be the best pork chop out there. I’ve had it many times, with the red cabbage and raisins. Great meal!
Texas Roadhouse is one of our favs for eating out.
The one closest to us in SoCal was hit by car during Covid and remained closed for a couple of years. We were glad to find one nearby here.
That place is awesome, love the rolls and butter, though it is always so busy
surprisingly one of the cheaper kids menus out there as well.
