Vikings Discussion & Random Thoughts
A former Vikings player with an axe to grind will be with his new team on the Falcons sideline tonight. That’s right, former Vikiings K John Parker Romo will be the new Falcons kicker tonight, as they benched longtime kicker Younghoe Koo after he missed a potential game-tying field goal last week. Wait, who did you think I was referring to?

Vikings.com has a Vikings vs. Falcons week 2 game preview.
The final Vikings vs. Falcons week 2 injury report, from Vikings.com.
Most “experts” are picking the Vikings to win tonight. It’s about time they get something right. I see Pete Prisco’s dumb a** picked the Falcons. Makes sense, he’s usually wrong.

Found this on a potential Darrisaw return, but honestly I forgot it was ACL and MCL, so we don’t want to rush it. They think he’s close though.

OK, we have some things to get fixed. Bengals next, and no Joe Burrow.
Yeah, it’s not like Jake Browning has a grudge against the Vikings or ever beat us…oh what’s that you say?
Perfect ending
That was disappointing
It was. Defense fought like hell though.
If we return the punt for a TD…
Coach has to figure out how to improve the OL. Remember how Mahomes played behind a crappy one? It’s so much worse for a rookie QB. At a minimum it hinders his development, and there are worse possible outcomes I don’t want to think about.
This is true.
Bow might need a hug…
Well, that’s one way to end the game I guess… at least dada can now go home to his newborn son. Dada looked pretty bad on the field, though. Can’t win them all I guess. Good night.
Yeah… it’s not a good night…
Turn out the lights, the party’s over
Two TD’s with 2 point conversions ties the game.
Garbage time? Or do we still have a chance?
OK, looks like we let them score to get the ball back.
Desperate for a turnover now…
Game over
Is it because GF and Freezey are there?
Yes
Feel bad for them, this can’t be much fun.
Yep
Indeed.
Can’t beat Falcons at home? Speaks volumes.
Defense is gassed, been on the field way too much.
Tired defense out there now.
TWINS SUCK. PURPLE SUCK.
We are running out of time
Falcons have more rushing yards than Vikings have total yards.
When will Darrisaw or some other injured offensive linemen be back?
Next week hopefully…
Murphy hurt… crap.
Ugh.
JJ needs to work on putting some “touch” on his throws. It’s been an issue in both games now.
Receiver running wide open behind the defense, one thing you can’t do is overthrow and of course that’s what JJ does
We can still win this game…
Crap… that was there for a TD…
Touchdown and a field goal, and we win 16-15.
2 score game, that might do it.
Down 2 scores now
Defense is fighting its guts out.
Never mind the Offensive holding on that sack…..
There are going to be a lot of growing pains with this team I’m afraid
Well this sucks.
That’s bad…
Wow. We should try blocking. I hear it helps.
Another unblocked rusher. This is pathetic!
Fumble Sack JJ (QB).
Great defensive stop, let’s go offense.
Got the ball near midfield. Time to score!
Starting at the 48 yard line (I guess) should help.
Defense snatching Mo back to the Purple
Crowd getting into it first time since the start of the game
DEFENSE does it again!
SACK! Greenard!
Greenard didn’t look so hurt on that sack.
Might have hurt Penises pride, though. Filthy sack.
We need to run the pick six play.
This is kind of frustrating to watch
Just like last week, for 3 quarters. Let’s see how this one ends…
Getting our ass kicked in the trenches.
2 backups in right now
LT is back up to a back up isn’t he?
Yup
Yes
Need 3rd and 4th down to get one yard.
IOL does not seem like $$ well spent at this point.
Go Mason Go.
Backup center fell down without blocking anybody on 3rd and 1. His guy makes the tackle for no gain. Unbelievable.
