From XFL player to arguably the best dlineman on the Vikings roster, Jalen Redmond signed his ERFA tender. I’m a bit surprised the Vikings didn’t offer him a legit longer term contract, but he didn’t have any choice but to sign the tender if he wanted to play in the NFL.

I like Kaelon Black, RB, Indiana, 5-10, 210 lbs, 9.14 RAS currently raked #152 but usually lasts until pick 163.
Or even more Adam Randall, RB, Clemson, 6’3″, 232 lbs, 9.44 RAS. He is a converted WR so he can catch out of the backfield and is considered a ‘competent blocker’ which puts ahead of many RB in this draft. He is rated at #210 and can frequently be had with pick 196.
Fridays don’t mean nearly as much now that I am retired.
Of course when working at the prison it didn’t mean as much either since that is a 7 day a week operation. It was meaningful for The Teacher though.

I don’t mind the general idea and I think a simple solution would make it better. The 2 from the Central plays the 3 from the Pacific and vice versa.

Apparently, the idea is to capitalize on getting more “rivals” to play in the first round in order to get the most viewers possible.
You’d think they’d want the best possible matchups throughout the playoffs to get as many games as possible with the most viewership, but since when does the NHL, or more to the point Bettman, do what makes the most sense?
I guess viewership drops a lot after the 1st round (half the teams are out) so Gary “The Penguin” wants as many as he can get right away.

We have a temporary office location due to a remodel project. It is some apartment buildings out in the middle of nowhere next to cornfields basically.
I went out to my car at break and just sat there, starring into the void, gathering energy to continue the day. Eventually, it was time to go back inside, so I open my car door and hop out…just as an attractive woman is walking by out of nowhere.
It could not have looked much worse. It looked exactly like I was lying in wait to ambush a woman in a deserted area, throw her into my car and drive away.
You can tell she is like in fight or flight mode and doesn’t know what to do because she didn’t know I was there either, so she goes…”Hi?”
I’m like, “Hi…”
Then she starts walking again. Briskly.
Sad that you would have to fear going to jail for sitting in your car, minding your own business, and saying hi to someone.
I was walking in the desert in SoCal during the Plague. On the trail was an attractive young lady walking her dog. She saw me coming, stepped to side and her dog went into full defensive mode, barking and growling.
As I was passing her she apologized for her dog and I replied ‘oh no, he is just doing his job’. I heard her say as I was walking away ‘I guess that’s right’. The dog was smarter than she was, hope she is still doing ok.
That would startle me (if I were in her shoes), definitely.

We have some little spatula thingies that are perfect for getting the last of the PB and J out of the jars. Then they can be used to spread them over the bread. A good investment from a ‘Kitchen Store’ we stopped at once.

I’m an everyday smoker.
Once every few months I’ll take a week or so off from smoking – just to reset my tolerance. Best time to this is usually late July (I call it my training camp) working weekends at my dad’s place doing yard work in the sun – sweat like crazy. I’ll usually do a reset in the spring as well, also coinciding with better weather and work at the old man’s. I usually chew some mushrooms at some point during this rest – I’m not a Quaker.
Even doing that, my tolerance is high enough it takes a lot of gummies to even touch me.
Gummies are great for me if I want to extend a high, and I’ve found there’s some benefits regarding deeper sleep when I take them. But to just take gummies, I need at least 100mg to touch me. Homemade edibles a bit different, but still my tolerance to edibles is high and not cost effective.
I only dabble in really good, homegrown smoke – the kind bud. Higher THC levels, little to no lumber or seeds (and any I find are usually pretty mature) and a much cleaner smoke.
So no, I wasn’t mistaken. I was well aware it was a spoon. Happened to be all my butter knives were in the dishwasher.

I draft a TE sometimes.
When I am going BPA or have extra picks due to trades I have found some large, tall, athletic TEs, even late in the 6th and early in the 7th rounds. Those are development picks for 2027 and beyond.
