Brendan Sorsby is entering the supplemental draft. I think that if the Vikings were to draft him, it would for sure become a circus, and I am for it. Keep bringing in and coaching up players. Maybe this time keep at least one decent QB around.

100% would not want sorsby, I wouldn’t take the gamble on someone with his history and it’s not like he’s some generational talent.

I have no idea about him at all, since I do not watch any college football until the playoffs.
Just thought it was an interesting headline when there are not many of those for football this time of year.
He was an ok player at Cincinnati, he bet on his own team several times. I would not trust him.
He started in Indiana (2022-2023) and then moved to Cincinnati (2024-2025). He has admitted to gambling on his teams all four years.
Transferred to Texas Tech for 2026 but after lots of legal drama had opted for the supplemental draft later this summer.
Dude bet on his teams UNDERS while playing. Granted he wasn’t active or traveling with the team supposedly when those bets happened but still. Thats just bad energy you dont want on a winning team.
I’ll bet the Vikings don’t roll the dice on him, I’d rather they double down in 27 or 28 draft

I am firmly of the belief based on events that may or may not have happened yet and comments from the HC that Harrison Smith will return for this season. Any one wanna make an over under bet on the date? I will say it will be AFTER August 20th that he will be signed.
I also think he’s coming back.
He’s likely in shape. Doesn’t need reps. No strange surgery to recover from hopefully.
I’m excited to see how BFlo deploys him. I think we’ll see a lot of 3 Safety looks – Hitman, Metellus and Jakobe Thomas. I’m hoping BFlo uses Harry as more of a disruptive force around the LOS – I think he can be very effective in that way.

I’m at 90% belief.
It will depend on the money vs physical pain for Harry.
And it will be after training camp or the last few days of training camp.
I hope he does return. I know he is old for an NFL defender, but seeing HOF players needs to be enjoyed when we have them.
100%, and he is realistically close to some other career and stat mile stones, that may help cement him into HOF (he is already imo but im biased of course)

so i have started to sell my Vintage Baseball card collection.
It’s bittersweet. I have been selling on Whatnot and having livestreams to sell. They are fun, and it helps me not feel sad when i sell cards i really like, as my mind is on the stream and can’t dwell on it.
but as i see my box of cards becoming less and less, it makes me sad that they are leaving.
My wife, now that she sees i’m making actual GOOD money on cards, is encouraging me to buy some more etc. I don’t really have the time to be buying and trying to sell to make a profit right now….
but i have run 3 live streams since Friday, and have sold 175 cards.

And from the Mythical Words Up Top, Sorsby may very well be suspended for the first year due to betting on his team in collage. So what draft pick are you willing to gamble on him? 2nd? 3rd may not be enough since there are QB desperate teams out there.

I would probably give up too much. Can a team sacrifice a 2nd next season and the year after? Two second round picks for a guy that probably could not play until next season.
Vikings need a long term QB. Murray is not it IMO. JJ has not been yet, but I am not ready to toss him aside. You want a QB competition? JJ and Sorosby starting next season would be more fun that what we have this season IMO.

It is a draft.
Teams that want to draft him submit a pick to the NFL and it opens them all of them once the Supplemental Draft starts and the highest pick gets the player.
So if a couple of teams submit a 3rd rd pick, whomever is rated higher in the 3rd round gets him. And they are offering 2027 Draft Picks.
I wouldn’t give up more than a 3rd rounder.
