According to the 506 coverage map I am not in the Vikings broadcast area this afternoon.
It shows that we have Seattle/Wash but that game is an early game??
Color me confused again/still. I will have to wait until game time to see if I can watch the game or not. Which is actually kind of normal lately.

A few 🔨 thoughts/concerns with tomorrow’s game:
Excited to see a healthy Murray run the offense – knock on wood that he stays healthy. I think he could be very fun to watch.
Terrified to see Schoolyard Murray – the one that threw a ridiculous pick on his first official throw as a Viking. Schoolyard Murray is a thing, he notably did the same thing against us a few years ago. I distinctly remember Pat Pete celebrating a pick on a very similar play: pressure in his face and he tosses a prayer, and it’s a turnover.
Carson Wentz is tall. Somehow Brandel snapped way over his head. Hoping it was the conditions. But….. Murray is short and this concerns me. Absolutely kills an offense and flips the field position when that ish happens.
Aaron Jones banged up – we need Claiborne to step up and provide juice/big plays. DeeJay Dallas (the lesser of the Dallas’s) doesn’t strike me as the type to carry the load. Great special teams player, but not a bell-cow. Nor is Claiborne at his size, but his athleticism and speed are difference makers – if we can utilize them.
Keep feeding Jets. Get Addison involved. I want 3rd and Juan….
Bucs defense banged up, offense sputtering….. this all scares me. A motivated Baker Mayfield is no joke. Feels like a trap game in a way. Two back to back wins against division rivals, both who were expected to be playoff contenders – I could see them coming out flat, I hope the opposite is true.
I see nothing that leads me to believe that BFlo dials down the blitz rate. I think he’ll only get more creative and start to rely a bit more on our playmakers. PFF be damned – Diamond Dallas Turner is a superstar. Love what I see out of Banks and Fat Fruit (splash plays so far, but I believe the consistency is coming). Van Ginkel overdue for his patented ‘WR screen pick 6’ and I could see it coming this week.

They overcome that more often than not (knock on wood) so that makes for a exciting/scary game, just what my heart needs.

I also like Baker. Hated him in college but he’s grown on me. Earned my respect when he trucked Byron Murphy a few years back and won Angry Runs.
Given the uncertainty of our QB room and at the time he hadn’t signed his current deal with Tampa – I wouldn’t have hated to see him in purple. It’d be another retread, but a guy I could still root for.
I also hope to see him pouty on Sunday, but I’m wary as I’ve seen what a motivated Mayfield can do dating all the way back to his college days.

Barely 8 lbs and a dust mop, but left a massive hole in my heart. He filled his belly full of roast beef and tasted chocolate pudding for the first time with bright eyes and and eagerness I hadn’t seen in a long time. He went peacefully and surrounded by people and animals that loved him. 1 day shy of his 17th birthday. My little buddy is sweet 16 forever.

Full slate of college games today. Beloved Bugeaters head to East Lansing to take on Sparty. Haven’t won there in over a decade.

Appreciate having a place to grieve, I’m sure it’s a bit much to some – and I understand that. Closest I’ll be to a parent. And in no way am I comparing losing a pet to losing a child – can’t fathom that anguish.
Times when this blog can get testy and confrontational, nasty even (I’ve been a contributor in that regard) nice reminder of the compassion that lies within us Vikings fans.
Dogs are part of the family.
Loyal and unconditional love.
Ive never had a pet die as i just never had a dog until 6 years ago. Amazing having a friend greet you and love on you.
