Happy humpday, and welcome to Skoloholics. Normally we would be watching for the Injury Report today. But, the Vikings have their bye week this week, so all of the players are off, hopefully not getting into trouble. I’m looking at you Addison. Speaking of Addison, there are a lot of rumors swirling around about the Vikings possibly shopping him or Jauan Jennings. They have had a lot of WRs in for workouts the past couple of weeks.
Don’t forget to checkout the comments, it is where the real action is. Just remember to respect each other.
QOTD:
Are the Vikings planning on trading Jennings, Addison or both, before the trade deadline?
Let us know in the comments.

I keep seeing rumor mongers on X proposing trading for Herbert.
I used to love Herbert, but my love has cooled due to him knocking me out of Survival League. I have principles that way…
But I guess I could kind of see that maybe. Big QB with some years under his belt throwing to our guys with a defense that can maybe hold up their end of the bargain.
The problem is what it would all cost, though. It would be an “all-in” kind of move, right?
Caught your review of dreamcatcher, I watched it many years ago and forgot how absolutely stupid it was. But from your review this line made me laugh hard
LOL, that lady is awful
If the team stays relatively healthy (big “if” with Aaron Jones in the backfield) or shows that its depth is capable, it’s well within reach to make the playoffs from this point (despite the tough stretch coming up). Making the playoffs means there’s a chance. That chance means considering big moves to improve the chance.
Acquiring a QB is fraught with peril, however. As you said, it comes at a cost to the team that hurts its future prospects. Also, it comes with the “well, he’s still learning the offense and developing timing with the WRs” caveat that you know we’ll hear when the team loses games it should have won.
Given Murray’s humble but measurable progress over the last few games (and Carson Wentz ready and available) I think it’s worth riding with what we have and seeing what happens. Trading for Herbert is not something I’d be excited about unless he comes cheap and spends at least a few weeks as QB2.
happy hump day!
