In recent news, Peter King released his annual NFL power rankings. Well, that’s just like, your opinion, man. I wish I knew how to embed gifs here, would have been a Big Lebowski gif.

Interesting in looking at the timelines of posts. Posts made 45 minutes ago have responses from several hours ago. Also several comments are now new, as in colored after having been read hours ago and turned white. Many comments are missing that were previously posted, including innocuous ones describing what seemed to be a malfunction yesterday when the thread had the same 20 or so post thread first and last. Seems to be working fine other than many missing comments and the timeline being accurate. I guess order seems off too, with the first comment being 6 hours old yet much much newer comments being posted below that one, but not as a reply but as a whole new comment.

The new thread will go up daily at 3am.

Yesterday at 225 comments it took several tries to switch from oldest to newest comments on top. During those efforts at one time I had the same string of comments at the top and the bottom of the thread. That was on a pc using chrome. Not sure it has anything to do with anything but it was weird.
Let me know if it happens again. Settings may have been getting adjusted at the time & may have contributed to that happening.

Ummmm while that is a possibility based on the amount of talent we have at the skill positions, there is no way to know how KOC’s offense will actually perform on the field.
No way to know how anyone’s offense will perform on the field, tbh. I think, based on talent level and past performance, that it’s easier to be bullish than bearish with regards to the Vikings’ offense.
I tend to agree with you Brad. One would think that the offense will be able to score plenty of points this year, but we’ll see.

Folks interviewing Cousins today were really trying to get him to say good things about the new regime and bad things about the old. Questions like “Isn’t there a more positive vibe this year? Last year it seemed like there was so much tension…” Cousins just said he’s always on edge and there’s always tension because he’s out there trying to do his best every day. You could tell the reporters were REALLY trying to hype up the new “feel good” regime versus the old oppressive Zimmer era. Cousins wasn’t biting.
I hope Cousins doesn’t consider himself married to the Vikings, because this seems more like a bad marriage, with a crapload of tension, than a good one where ya work hard, have fun, and don’t anxiety yerself and those around you to death.
It is a bad marriage, with divorce written all over it. Another year or maybe two and the Vikings can get a trophy wife qb like NVF did.
There is a more positive vibe among fans who don’t know better. Wait until we are 0-6 or 1-9 and that positivity will be gone in a flash. Players likely are all taking it as it comes. Saying all the right things to maximize their next contract.

I click on that and it loads fine within the Google app, and “open page in Chrome” works, and even can load the Open Thread page. It’s just the homepage that’s giving me that notification.
