I think what we have witnessed with the very slow rate of inflation for years was the result of the supply chain being tightened by cheaper labor and advances in production in foreign markets keeping the price of everything down. Hit the ground in front of the ball. Use foot powder to draw a line where you would normally have your ball in your stance and try to take a divot in front of the line without hitting the line for practice. I don’t even focus on the ball when hitting irons, just the grass right in front of the ball.

You want to ball to launch off the club face, not off the grass/dirt on the club face. If you try to brush the tips of the grass before contacting the ball you run the risk of taking too much dirt before you strike the ball you will lose accuracy and distance because the ground slows down your swing.
It’s OK to take some ground after the club face strikes the ball cleanly.

I was surly yesterday cuz I was up from 1 to 3 am talking to coyotes. Fuckers woke me up I swore they were on the other side of the fence singing a song. By the time I got out there all I could see was blurry shapes running over the northern ridge at top speed. All I saw after that was a couple of deer moving into the creek area to bed down. I did have a dog answering my calls but eventually I must have said something to piss him off cuz he shut up. Kinda like the SK.

There are some good infrared scope options out there.
I have a midrange thermal scope (read mid four figure not mid five figures) and beyond 100 yards if they are moving a deer can look like a cow can look like a dog can look like a coyote. Beyond 200 yards even stock still I wouldn’t chance it unless I had already identified them in closer. Hell if coyotes didn’t make coyote noises I wouldn’t shoot for fear I’m taking out a litter of golden retrievers.
It is fun watching them respond to the foxpro calls and doing what they do (ftd mainly) when they are wandering around in the fields. So far I just sit in one or another convenient hide and see how close I can get them in. I’m planning on some action this fall and winter.
