Vikings Make First Wave of Roster Reductions: 85-Man Roster

All NFL teams were required to reduce their rosters from the 90-man maximum to 85 by 3:00 pm central today. The Vikings have announced the moves they made in order to reduce their roster to the correct size, according to Vikings.com.

Waived:

FB Jake Bargas

OLB Andre Mintze

Waived/Injured:

DL Tyarise Stevenson

WR Thomas Hennigan

Contract Terminated/Vested List:

CB Tye Smith

Only one FB is interesting. We’ll see what that means for Ham. No clue who the other guys were.

Mintze was the FA from Denver. Supposed to have a leg up as a former Player for the DC.
so the good news is they like the other guys better than him who already knew the system.
