He was last season. I think he gets cut this year. The point is depth. I expect 3 guys on defense to go down during the season at least for a couple weeks or more. Most likely one, if not more, is a cb. Getting rid of Hand means our depth just got better compared to last season.

As of late Amazon has been giving out badges to third party sellers on their platform. The latest is a Black Owned Business badge if you are a certified black owned business. Isn’t is kind of hard to stop racism if you are continually pointing out what race everyone is? This is the point some one who use to be here never understood. The nfl is all cap and value you get for the cap you’re spending on the player. The stats and one on one comparisons are irrelevant without including the opportunity casts associated with each player.
When JJ signs his extension for 25 and beyond for 45 or 50 mill a year, compare what else the team could have for that money, not his stats to other wr’s.

I think the trade for Mullens is an excellent example of the quality of b/u qbs in the nfl. A guy like that and 3-5 7-10 million dollar players or plus 2-3, 10-15 million dollar players helps a team much more than an average qb.
In 4 years the cap will be nearly 500 million biden bucks. Good qbs will be making over 75 mill or should I say in the 26 off season, qbs will be signing contracts for 75 mill per year. Chiefs will have Mahomes for 45 mill for five more years at that time. At the end of his contract he could be making 5% of the cap or less.
They’re gonna ride Cousins for a couple years then draft Arch. They’re playing a game longer than you and Kodiak can see.

I’ve noticed that the first time you login. I think (hope) they are working on the nesting as well. If you don’t refresh the page, it can get crammed to the side bad. If you refresh once a bunch of read comments will turn yellow, so I just refresh twice. Just check the comment counter before both refreshes if you are worried about missing any of Five’s hot takes. That will mark everything read and reset the nesting.

Fred Cox is still the highest Viking scorer of all time, if I recall correctly.
Most everyone else has been a rental, although I think Faud was around a while.
I grew up watching Fred. Too bad his percentage was shit – 62% lifetime FG success, but he was one of the last straight-on kickers.

Fuad was one of the most accurate kickers inside 50 yards in nfl history until a foot injury, outside 50 yards though he was not so good.

Longwell was here a while. We caught Stenerud at the end of his career, & he wasn’t here long, but was a good kicker. Not a lot of longevity at the position, but I suppose that’s normal for most teams.
