UPDATE FOR PART DUEX: Wow, another busy day. It’s a good problem to have, here’s another for you.
There were a lot of upsets yesterday, and a lot of crazy endings. I watched/listened from the lake to most of them, so I got the best of both worlds. Yikes, my pick-em league thingy looks like ka-ka. I’m sitting here now watching the Bears lose one to the Packers, bleh.
The Vikings take on the Eagles tonight on Monday Night Football. It’s the dreaded late game, and I dislike the late Monday night game. I always have flashbacks to the season opener in 2015 when the promising Vikings looked horrible against the 49ers. People lost their minds, but the Vikings managed to win the division that year. Memories. For tonight, I like the Vikings’ chances against the Eagles, although I think it’ll be a hard battle. Lots of Cook & Mattison, and the passing game will be dealing with another strong pass defense again this week, so they’ll have to be up to the task, especially on the O-line. If the offense can perform and avoid turnovers like they did against Green Bay, I like their chances. SKOL!!!!!!

Kirk gonna have to keep his hot route in mind tonight, I have a feeling they’re going to try to blitz a lot, need to make them pay for that. Hit the hot route, OC needs to call screens to neutralize the blitz, make them pay to back them off. Then, Kirk can pick apart the secondary while Cook/Mattison make the run D their bitch.
Hopefully he ate all steak and cheese this week
Yeah we’ll get a further look in to the scheme development and play calling talent of KOC tonight. My guess is this should be more Cook / Mattison with passing coming when their defense adjusts to our run. Kitty’s hurt them on the ground so I would assume we can do the same. GB probably has a better secondary than Philly so maybe KOC thinks keep doing things the way we do until someone stops it. Will be interesting but personally I think KOC is up to the task and has the talent.
Yup. I’m most interested in the development of the offense and what it can/will do.

Me too. My biggest hurdle is staying up until the end.
I was thinking about taking a nap today, but sadly it didn’t work out.
I wish I could take naps, it’s very rare that I’m able to. Sometimes when we’re camping, especially in the hammock.
Yup just got of work….was up at 5:45 with the Mrs so she could watch the Queens funeral and I could go to the gym. Worked all day so now will see if I can stay up for the 2nd half. If it’s close the anxiety usually keeps me going.

Well…..I am attending a fund raising banquet to save the unborn children (yes, that makes me morally superior) so I wont start watching the taped game till around 8.30 – can get through in 2 hours so way less time for drinking….but I hate watching taped games.
