What brand? I bought an Ariens for my last company and it was incredibly reliable.
That sucks. If it is similar as those used on golf courses, they’re fun to drive.

I bought mine new so I didn’t have to deal with someone else’s abuse. I also do not have a zero turn which might be another reason it’s still chugging alone. I also am not handy, so I have any issues fixed by the dealership.
I have a Cub Cadet, I really like it. Has the Kohler 22 hp motor, very nice machine. Bought it new about 9 years ago, had nothing but good luck with it, I do all my own maintenance.
I’d like to trade it in once it’s fixed on a new model
John Deere dealer should give you a good trade in value for it. They make good machines.
Way back in the day when I was first going to buy a riding mower, I was going to go cheap, but my mother-in-law insisted I get a John Deere.

This song will always be the seminal summer “patio” song. Just listening to it in the background conjures memories of the lake and bridge parties from my senior year back in Wainwright, Alberta. Came out same year I graduated.

I don’t understand why we aren’t already in a recession. I don’t know all the technical definitions but this certainly feels like other recessions I have experienced.
I’m eying 1 year T-Bills. Little over 5% now.

We are. That happened in June with 2 straight quarters in GDP, It’s not a bad recession yet, but I expect it will be. Layoffs have been happening. Just not being widely reported for some reason……

Last time I flew in/out of Bismarck was easily 25 years ago. I remember landing there once in a bona fide blizzard, was scary as the entire approach could not see any lights below. At least in Billings on the typical approach to 28R you are flying over portions of the city near the threshold.
We’re up to 4 gates now! Massive growth in the last 10 years.
