5 hours is a long layover. Over half-way there.
Snicker
Happy for the kid, he’s worked his ass off, and had to go through last year with a coach who didn’t seem to like him. Shows some heart to keep his head up.
Aren’t you supposed to be on vacation?
The internet followed him on vacation
Big Brother is always watching.
Currently at the MSP airport in the midst of a 5-hour layover. @Yay@
@Sounds fun.@

The Vikings are 4-1
-that’s good
-the loss to the poopeaters May come back later
-that’s bad
The offense has put up points when it’s had to
-thats good
-the offense has disappeared during long stretches of games
-thats bad
Special teams was a pleasant surprise through 4 games
-that’s good
-there was a fifth game and they looked like stinky poop
-that’s bad
the defense while yielding yards has been opportunistic
-that’s good
-mediocre pass rush make Homer go crazy -that’s bad
I can’t decide if this team is good but has faults or has played in a conference with meh teams.
games against the Cowboys and Bills will tell us who they are
I would have included Miami but without Tua (and potentially Hill) they aren’t as special
Agreed.
im Lukewarm and if we stay away from injuries this team could make some noise.
they are testing themselves in battle right now in these close games but I’d really like to see a blowout against an inferior opponent.
this have been a weird year leaguewise because nobody has been truly dominant.
maybe the Bills… but we have the same record and a couple games they’ve looked very beatable.
Eagles haven’t beat a team with a winning record other than Us.
GB beat TB
TB beat Dak and the boys.
DAL nobody with a winning record.
NYG has beaten TEN and GB
SF no winners and lost to bears w/Lance
BUF beat Ravens and Titans
BAL beat NYJ
NYJ beat MIA
MIA beat Buf and BAL
KC beat TB but lost to the colts.
so… lots of parity. What a weird league but nobody is dominating.
watch out for San Francisco. That defense is scary.
I’m hoping Dak comes back and plays like absolute garbage against the Vikings
You and me both.
that defense seems legit.
I believe Parsons got hurt too
Parsons has a groin injury, their defense looks good for the first time in a long time
Owner: Take this object, but beware it carries a terrible curse…
Homer: [worried] Ooooh, that’s bad.
Owner: But it comes with a free Frogurt!
Homer: [relieved] That’s good.
Owner: The Frogurt is also cursed.
Homer: [worried] That’s bad.
Owner: But you get your choice of topping!
Homer: [relieved] That’s good.
Owner: The toppings contains Potassium Benzoate. [Homer stares, confused]
Owner: That’s bad.
Homer: [worried] Can I go now?
Someone got my reference
(I knew you would PPB) 😃
I got you!
I thought you were referencing Roy Clark on Hee Haw…
Liver is like eating dirt. Yuck.
I LOVE liver
Stay in Florida!
Spot-on. I’m a bit apprehensive about getting too excited yet, but if this team DOES continue to develop and improve as the season wears on, they could really make some noise in January (or dare I say February?).
GM.
Double firsts are so much better than just a single first.
GM
concur
I don’t know what kind of world I live in when the Vikings have a competent OL.
it has been a long time.
Brave new world.gif
when is the last time they were at least league average?
maybe 2012
2017, the one year with coach Sparano as oline coach they were averagish, RIP.
I think Case (and Bradford {RIP his knees} made that offensive line look more competent than they were.
the poopeaters dline wrecked them when it mattered most
Correct, though by the time they played the poopeaters I think they had 3 backups playing in that game. IIRC they ranked around 17th in the NFL as a group for the season.
and their back 7 watched what the *aints did in the 2nd half of the divisional game against the Vikings
Yep, absolutely. Case was running for his life half the time, it seemed, which is probably good, because if he was standing in the pocket, I don’t think we’d have won 13 that year.
2013, the year before Norv, I believe they were ranked 8th. Someone reminded me that we had that year with Sparano, too.
I thought it was 2012, the year AP @thwarted Ponders growth as a QB@
First (double first)
