Flagging Jannifer across the site is becoming a full time job 😂
I think I might have Covid, I farted yesterday and my wife said it might be the worst she’s ever smelled but I didn’t smell anything
RIP, are you sure it wasn’t your wife that ripped it?
”she who smelled it, dealt it”
Darn, I missed the spammer.
Still miss Paula…so much
Well Jan’s back, in several threads…
I know I’ve said this multiple times, but the new logo is awesome. I actually really like it on the bottom of the page because it has a purple background which makes it really look nice.
Michael Oher Sets the Record Straight about “The Blind Side” (mydailymagazine.com)
still a fun movie.
I actually didn’t really like it. I’m not a huge fan of Sara Bowlock though.
Well I’m glad Sandra Bullock took the part instead of Julia Roberts. Bullock was a dead ringer for my Arkansan aunt who lives in Texas. My aunt and Leigh Anne Tuohy are two peas in a pod. I can’t watch that movie without seeing my aunt the whole time. Plus, it captures the football spirit that dominates the South.
Similarly, “Walking Across Egypt” is a great family film (starring Jonathan Taylor Thomas for those of you with younger daughters or wives who grew up in the 80’s/90’s). Reminds me of my “so Southern” paternal grandmother and the daughter in the movie of aforementioned aunt (same personality, different context). Took me back to spending summers with my grandparents in the 60’s.
Well that was a poopfest on Sunday wasn’t it? Fortunately I think the lack of NE offense will DOOM (get it)? them on Thursday night.
LOL. I have a good feeling about Thursday, too.
I am wavering on this game. While I expected them to lose to buffalo and dallas at the start of the season, after the buffalo win I was expecting momentum.
Now I am just hurt and confused.
Picking the Vikings, but not confident at all.
“hurt and confused”
normal for a fan of this team
Yes, Led Zep’s “Dazed and Confused” was what came to mind for me. That one you love that tips your heart out. Thanks, Vikings *yet again).
[But see below in reply to GF’s feelings]
I had a really bad feeling about the Dallas game, which turned out to be beyond valid. I have a good feeling about Thursday, so let’s hope I’m accurate again.
Ditto. Except that I started believing my own hype. Started out thinking this would be a loss, but the closer we got to kickoff, the more optimistic I got.
But…I also have a good feeling about this week. We won’t blow them out *we seem to be incapable of that) but I think they’ll have a better game plan, learn from Sunday’s mistakes and rebound with a win.
