Despite some boneheaded moves on my part, I managed to win my FF matchup this week.

Brewed a Mexican Hot Chocolate Stout over the weekend, new setup works great – other than having to dump 5 gallons back into my cooling bucket every 3 minutes for the steam condenser. Just gotta get some more tubing to use only 1 bucket and it will work perfectly.
3500W induction cooktop boils 3 gallons of water like it’s nothing at all.
Just praying that the yeast I pitched at 78 degrees doesn’t die/give off bad flavors.
Then adding chile de arbol and cacao nibs in 2 weeks for secondary fermentation.
So you made meth this weekend?

A friend of mine gave me a tip that might have saved one. I initially had the wire coming in to the back of the box, but to secure the box to the wall I had to move that to the side. Before flipping the breaker, I tested for continuity between the two hot terminals and the box and found that the dinky 1-gang box I am using made it so that the conduit-to-box connector came far enough through the knockout that it was touching one of the terminals if I used the middle knockout.
Other than that, I probably should have put a small bend in the conduit because right now the box isn’t quite flush with the wall – but I know I’m eventually going to move it to the other side of my sink anyway so this will do for a brew or two.
Busy sports weekend at our house. Grandkid (10) got a bunch of his sports buddies together and they went to the Mid_Atlantic Flag Football tournament, sponsored by the NFL and the Eagles. He was bummed they made everyone wear a uniform with the Eagles logo. Winning teams get to go to Vegas for a national tournament over Pro-Bowl weekend. He played 5 games on Saturday, lost the championship 14 – 7. cried in the car (kind of like Rodgers last night???). He scored 7 TDs and had 4 interceptions He can catch almost anything, and spends his free time watching Youtube videos of NFL wide receivers. Then he went to a BB tournament, played 4 games and they won that tourney. He slept well last night!
My kids did something similar but for soccer, they did a 3v3 tournament and qualified for Nationals in ….. Orlando.
We went and had fun, they lost in the quarterfinals

They certainly exposed some weaknesses in that Philly defense.
Jones is a good player, they should be running their offense through him with more play action…and pay Rodgers more money to hand off
