Welcome to Vikings @ Bears game day on Skoloholics! The season finale is finally here as the Vikings are in Chicago to take on the division rival Bears. Kickoff is at noon, and weather shouldn’t be much of a factor as they’re expecting overcast skies and light winds with a high of 36 in Chicago today. Skolly has all of your gaming information on the latest Skoldiers Spreads. Vikings.com has the final Vikings @ Bears injury report.

As I’ve been mentioning all week, this game feels fairly meaningless at the moment, but it is important that the Vikings get out of Chicago with a win, on the off-chance that the Cardinals beat the 49ers. A 49ers loss coupled with a Vikings win would move the Vikings into the #2 seed in the NFC. I seriously doubt that the 49ers will lose, but it’s still plenty of incentive for the Vikings to go after a win.
I feel like I say this most weeks, but on paper, this game looks like a Vikings win. The Bears are a 3-13 team playing their second-string quarterback, but they’re also a division rival that is very difficult to beat on their home (crappy) turf. As I mentioned above, the purple and gold have plenty of incentive to win, so I expect to see many starters on the field, at least to start the game. This is a bit of a concern to me, especially on that horrible field in Chicago. The last thing you want to see is an injury the week prior to the playoffs.
The main thing I hope to see today is no injuries. We’ll be looking at the center position, obviously, as we’re hoping to see a much better performance from Reed this week. He struggled last week, particularly in picking up the snap count and cadence. I also want to see this team put together a complete strong game for once this season. It would be huge for the Vikings to build some positive momentum heading into the playoffs.
2nd Half Vikings @ Bears Update
Here are the game stats thus far, courtesy of ESPN. The Vikings offense looked very good in the first half, for the most part. Kirk was sharp, although he made a mistake at the end of the half with a check-down pass that cost the Vikings 3 points. The defense looked solid today, they’re getting pressure on Peterman and doing a good job in coverage. They did allow one long run which accounted for the only Bears points of the first half, but other than that, the defense has been mostly good. Greg Joseph missed the PAT on the first touchdown, but hit another PAT and another field goal, and also hit a field goal that didn’t count to end the half. @Moral victory.@
Heading into half number 2, the Vikings are up 16-6. SKOL!!!!!!!!!!

I’m telling you, Chandler is good, give him something to run behind.
We have an excellent O-line… supposedly
Not anymore
next year
4 of 5 below average
Next year
And once again the Vikings don’t even TRY to get a first down… will end up punting the ball away…
All done
Zimmerball
Koc ball now
Well, the Vikes did what they needed to do today. Get the stink off of last week with the starters, and win the game.
It’s time for big boy football.
Nice if Chandler could break one
Good for Shelley, released by cubbies. He says, FU.
not going to happen in mop-up time
DUKE SHELLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like we set an all time nfl record off 11 one score wins and zero one score losses.
One more stop by the D pretty much seals it.
Joseph hits from 41. Vikings are now up 29-13 with 3:39 remaining.
rolling it up, now
Greg da leg
Nailor and Irv standing out in the second half.
Nice throw by Mullet, nice catch by Irv
Chandler playing?
getting some reps, now
Kid is good, look forward to seeing him next year
Yep, he’s been in the last series or two
Just lost our slot CB
someone has to play
Why is Sullivan stil in the game???
Koc or Ed?
Small setback. Need to win by less than 7 to set all time record, 12 one score wins
Dammit Mullet. INT to give the Bears the ball back around midfield. Dum dum mullet.
Just have to burn clock dumb fucks.
Vikes on a roll
Bears keeping that pick in their pocket
Texans giving it away
they should
Joseph money from 50. Vikings up 26-13.
still can hit the 33 pool
Greg da leg lookin better
*after shaking off the dust on his cleat
That was a bad screen play there. 3rd quarter ends with the Vikings ahead of the Bears 23-13.
Smith catches and drops
Hands of clay
rusty
Mullens came up short on that one.
Udoh with a falst start.
This is more dinner, watching scrubs play
like preseason
Yeah
funner damn auto correct
Nwangwu is fast, real fast
21-7 Jacks in the second
Uh oh, Bizzun gonna lose another, looking like.
Jacks turn for a title
If it has to be another team, I’d rather it be the Jackalopes.
Before ppl freak here’s who’s playing
Boyd sucks, whiffed along with Dye
Not really, Boyd was a 7th round pick who is an elite ST player, Dye sucks even on ST and was a 4th rounder
Who
Nice play by Kmart, TD Bears. 23-13, if they make the PAT.
Good game so far by Minnesota.
No, good chance to lose still.
It’s dabares
Just can’t take a hint, can ya’?
You keep repeating how well we are doing and I explain why, no hard feelings😬
I’m reporting how the game is going. Do you want me to say that the offense can’t go anywhere and the defense has given up 70 points? That would make sense. Offense is abysmal, errors abound, defense gives up 8 touchdowns. Score at the half is 16-6 Vikings.
Fucking brilliant. You should start a blog.
Lol, my mistake, I didn’t realize good game by Vikings was a report.
Good game by Vikings, but it’s dabares, so…………
That would be a report.
we’re winning, be happy😀
oof
Damn. This Duke Shelley impresses the hell out of me.
Shelly > Dantzler
Anyone healthy>Dantzler
He’s your height
Can Shelley play slot?

Better than last game anyway
@That 49 rating wasn’t his fault@
Well, it’s a 1pm meaningless game.
Kirks specialty.
Garbage game
My friend out here is a jock sniffer like you. After hearing nothing from him in a week, I expect non stop Cousins stats this week.
Who gets to the nfccg first, dabares or Vikes?
Bears, got more cap cash than you and 5.
Good picks too
Mullens can set and plant feet well.
Fast, i mean.
No sharting
TD Mattison.
In a shocking turn of events, Joesph nails the PAT.
Who was playing online that drive? Losers?
Backups. Hinton was in I think
Hell yeah! Mattison goes in for the TD
Also, looks like #62 had a nice run block on that TD.
Yep, clearing lanes.
Mattyyyyyyy
Fuck. Lets get a TD here!
Mattison heard you
Reed had a nice block on that TD. Nice to see.
He fucking sucks, cut him
Texans winning, dabares want to lose
should be able to snag a few good picks out of this strange game
Mattison!!! Damn, that’s close to a TD.
Man. That Bear almost killed Reagor.
dropped the hammer on Reagor
