The Patriots were never great at drafting, though. Their biggest strength was that they’d get vets to play cheap because they were guaranteed a shot at a ring.
Solid drafting defensive players, they also didn’t draft higher than mid 20’s for like 20 years. They have absolutely sucked drafting WRs though.

When my wife was in labor with our first child she was in a lot of pain so they gave her fentanyl (spelling?). It knocked her out between contractions, but as soon as a contraction hit, she was wide awake and not very happy. I’m surprised we had 2 more children after that.

I was just looking at wins above previous year, Daboll 5, MCDC 6, KOC 5, Sirriani 5, Shanny at 3 but are playing a 7th round rookie QB and still rolling, Pederson 6, then you have McDermott at 2. I do not think McDermott belongs in the top 5. Mine would be MCDC, Sirrianni, Daboll, Shanny, and Pederson with MCDC winning it, any HC who get the Lions over .500 is working miracles. KOC at 5 wins more than the previous year you can make a case for though.
I think all the late season “fraud” talk surrounding the Vikings and then the ass whipping by Green Bay likely ended any chance KOC had to make the list. Early in the season, I think the media kind of enjoyed the “one possession win” narrative but as the season wore on, and the Vikings never put an opponent away (along with the debacle that was our defense), I think the shine on his star began to wane in terms of Coach of the Year honors. I don’t think you can just dismiss 13 wins, but the backstory behind their record didn’t end well.
If he wins the north again next year, he’ll have a strong case.

Our daughter was born in Minneapolis. They had to induce at 39 weeks because they had to have surgeons on site when she was born (another entire story). They started on the morning of June 6, and by 8:00 that night, they decided to stop inducing and wait until morning. I’ve been there all day, being supportive & drinking coffee & all the other useless shit we men do in these situations. Once they say they’re gonna stop inducing, I say “hey, I’m gonna go for a quick run, just a couple miles, be back in 15 minutes”. Wife thought it was a great idea, too. I stretch & head out.
Then I get lost. In south Minneapolis. In the dark. Lots of fun. I’m running & running, an hour goes by. I’m running down a street that does not look like the nice part of town, people out in the street drinking & doing whatever else. I go jogging through down the street, trying not to look at anyone. All of a sudden I hear “You’d better keep running, white boy. For your health!”. Even though I’d been running for well over an hour, I found another gear & GTFO of there. I finally found a familiar street after about an hour & a half & found my way to the hospital, 100 minutes & 11 miles later.
That sucked.
Moral of the story, don’t go running for fun.
Worst part is, it happened again a few weeks later. Only a few miles that time, though. That area down by Children’s Hospital (I affectionately refer to it as Somalia for some reason) is easy to get lost in.

Keep in mind, they induced at 39 weeks, so yours is going to go much easier than that.
