Aloha, Skoloholics! Justin Jefferson, the Minnesota Vikings superstar wide receiver, may be adding an NFL Offensive Player of the Year award to his trophy room. Well, I don’t know that JJ has a trophy room, and I also don’t know if he’ll get a trophy for this award if he wins, but you get the picture. He’ll have some stiff competition, as the other finalists for the award are Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, and Tyreek Hill.

From Ben Goessling:
Justin Jefferson has earned the right to be in this conversation after his record-breaking 2022-23 season, stats courtesy of ESPN. He set the all-time single season receiving yard record with 1,809 receiving yards in 2023. He caught 128 passes with eight touchdowns and EIGHTY first downs. JJ was a major contributing factor to the Vikings 13-4 record, as he made superstar plays throughout the season. You may recall this play in Buffalo (you’ll have to click on the link & go to youtube because the NFL might miss out on a penny).
Congratulations to Justin Jefferson for being nominated for this prestigious award. JJ has been a blessing for this Vikings team ever since his arrival. He’s talented beyond belief, has a tremendous attitude, and it will be an absolute joy to watch this kid get better and better.
They’ll announce the winner in a couple weeks. SKOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think JJ is also a finalist for MVP as well.
