You’re assuming he’s disgruntled, you have no idea. I think KOC and KAM don’t do business that way. They likely had a honest conversation with him back in Jan to where they stood and were upfront and honest with him. They put the ball in his court to do what’s best for him. He may think he’s worth more and they gave him the opportunity to check the market and find more if it’s out there. Once he finds it’s not, he won’t be mad at them for being right, he’ll just have to accept they were and weren’t being dishonest about it. It’s a simple choice does he want a fresh start. Chances are for the same amount of money he doesn’t want to walk in to the unknown. If he’s being brought in to be the missing piece to a championship run sure he’s go but that likely isn’t happening. He’ll be another back making the same amount having to reprove himself and learn a new offense on top of it. Good chance he stays in Minny for less. If the Vikes didn’t want him and wanted to clear the space they would have cut him already and gave him the opportunity to land elsewhere.

Interesting summary, it ALMOST makes me want to watch it.
It was an okay movie to watch while being ill because you don’t have to worry about feeling gross tainting your opinion of the movie because it is already fairly bad.

He is a fun character actor. I’ve enjoyed him in a lot of movies: Fargo, The Lost World, Armageddon, Big Lebowski, 8MM…
He’s pretty one-note, though, so he is probably best in small doses. He’d be a good villain in a Jean Claude Van Damme movie.

I actually prefer JP2 to JP1. I never liked the first JP that much. The kids are annoying and ruin all suspense because nothing can happen to them. I don’t like the T-Rex deus ex machina at the end. Grant and crew should have beaten the raptors with their own wits. Hammond is so cloying child-like that I want to slap him, especially when he is opening the dinosaur egg. I get a total pedo vibe from his performance. Sam Neil and Laura Dern are miscast.
JP2 also has problems, but it is more fun and has more bite. The T-Rex hunter is fun. The RV sequence is fun. T-Rex romping through a city is fun. Take out gymnast girl and fix a few other things, and JP2 is more entertaining.

Get that chipping and putting worked out and you will be in the low 90s quickly.
I must have shanked 5 wedges and had 8 or 9 3 putts…Yes, take out the horrible short game and I would be in the low 90s/upper 80s…
The most important thing I learned regarding chipping is that you still have to let the clubface turn over. If you are too tense and just try to control it, you will keep it open and shank or push everything right.
You might consider going to a simulator that shows you club face at impact. Will really highlight what you are doing and probably help correct it.

Exactly what I had a month ago, practiced it daily and now it’s the most solid part of my game. You can turn that around.
I have a youtube chipping video I’ll post for you when I get home. It’s super easy and exactly the set up and swing you need to improve chipping immediately.
We’ve all been there. Best advice I ever got was to learn to hit one shot with one club. Forget lobs, pitch and runs etc. and forget using PW, GW, SW and Lw. Take one club – I use a SW – and hit a simple pitch shot. If you need a lob, hit it higher, need a run, hit it lower. The idea is you practice really hitting one shot and really learn to “own” one club. Make the game as simple as possible for us guys who don’t hit hundreds of balls every day. Mt 2 cents.
Yes, good advice…I am kind of alternating between more of a lob shot and pitch shot for my 30 yards and in. Some days I hit one better than the other, but yesterday I couldn’t hit either of them…I agree, I should pick one approach and stick with it.

I got a par on 2 of the first 4 holes last time out, still over 110 I think. I stopped keeping score …..
That’s still a solid round and if there is anything you can practice and see rather quick improvement is in your short game. Driver is a whole different ballgame..it ebbs and flows from doing great then no idea where it’s going. And it isn’t a ton different with the pro’s…Speith as an example of an average pro driver is 65% in the fairway…other 35-40% he is like us searching for his ball.
All these things are meant to divide us! Except golf, that brings us all together in the fact this it sucks unless you are old and boring. We all understand that fact.
