Hey, another wonderful weekend has come to a close. Most of you are kicking off another wonderful week at work today. I’m currently on my version of a sabbatical, so I will NOT be going to work today. I resigned from my job last week, and am taking a month off to decompress before launching my new venture. Well, ventures. I’m excited for the next chapter, but for now, I’m focusing solely on relaxing and being a dad and a husband, and absolutely nothing else. It’s been a wonderful past few days, and I expect the next 4 weeks or so to be better every day.
My son and I are heading up to the big water (Lake Sakakawea) for a couple days of relaxation and the pursuit of some walleye and whatever else chooses to bite. We rented a cabin at Lake Sakakawea State Park, a place that we visit frequently. It should be a blast. My wife will probably join us sometime tomorrow.
We’re also planning a trip to the cities for training camp, so hopefully we’ll have some decent coverage of training camp for you here at Skoloholics. Well, as decent as you can expect from me, anyway. I can’t guarantee you the coverage will be first-class journalism, but I CAN guarantee you that we will have fun at training camp, and in the end, that’s what really matters. SKOL!!!!

Minnesota Vikings News:
The Pro Football Hall Of Fame has awarded two former Vikings coaches with awards of excellence, per Vikings.com.
Richard Sherman said that 2021 was ‘probably his last year’, according to NFL.com. I already assumed that was the case when he didn’t get signed last year and became an analyst, but I guess the media folks need something to write about. I’m gonna also go ahead and guess that Fran Tarkenton’s last year was probably 1978, but hey, you never know.
CBS Sports ranks the NFL’s top 10 punters. You’ll see a familar face (and a very large frame) in the 10th spot. Not bad for an undrafted rookie. Somewhere, MarkSP18 is smiling.
Video of the Day:
Here’s one of the best comedians of all time, this is the late, great, Norm McDonald. The best thing about Norm was that he did not give a single shit who liked what he had to say. Enjoy!
Justin Jefferson provided his top 5 QB’s list to some Brazilian Sports outlet when he was interviewed by Brazilian journalist Danilo Lacalle this week:
The order is as follows;
Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs)Aaron Rodgers (New York Jets)Joe Burrow (Cincinnati Bengals)Jalen Hurts (Philadelphia Eagles)Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills)
Buy 4 of the 5. Just don’t see how anyone can put Hurts on the list given his limited body of work.
Yeah, the list is pretty much in-line with U.S. sports journalists selections. Media loves mobile quarterbacks who are playmakers, as much as they are QB’s. Guys running around and making plays with their legs as well as their arms.
Yep. Like Kyler Murray before he fell from grace, Could make all the highlight reel plays, but couldn’t stand in the pocket, read the defense and complete a pass. But he’s no longer one of the favorites.
What is failed to be mentioned here is he did list Kirk with Allen at # 5 it was kind of a toss up….he said Kirk Cobain as a joke about his name but he meant Kirky. Listen.
Finished a 5 a.m. meeting with Europe. On my 3rd cup of coffee and have a 9 a.m. meeting I’m reviewing some slides for. Wake up sleepy heads!
Been up for 3 hours. Walked, worked out some, and some breakfast. Just hanging around now.
Two oldest guys on the blog and we’re the earliest risers…
Well…. you know the kids nowadays. But we’ll keep the secret — wisdom comes with early rising.
I was up at 5am…checked here no new daily thread, logged off.
Going back to bed doesn’t count.
Always thought Ramsey was an overrated gas bag baby but this has me rethinking that. I trust JJ’s takes…
Question
Which will we learn first?
A) The contents of the Tennessee Shooters Manifesto
B) The Identity of the White House Cocaine Sniffer (Biden…)
C) Neither…it is not advantageous to the Regime to identify either pieces of information, although both are well known.
Please vote.
CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
C
B – but it will be anyone in the greater DC area not named Biden.
But is Biden lying about who it was, knowing who it was?
Is there any doubt!
The lack of media outrage or pursuit of the President on this tells you everything you need to know. No mainstream media outlet is carrying the story and hasn’t over the last 3 days.
Because everyone with even a small brain knows how that stuff got there. See no evil, hear no evil, tell no evil.

Well I think this is a first. The new Miss Netherlands is a trans women (or man not sure how to say it). He/She will now compete in the Miss Universe Contest.
Travesty… just sickening
Not like they don’t have pretty women over there!
Nice. I think we should encourage/promote this for the youth of the world. Make it the new norm. Gag me.
I’m still stunned thinking about it – a women’s beauty contest and they pick a women wannabe
I try not to think about it, more reminders every day however.
Stupid.
Miss Universe was developed for women.
And they choose a man.
And they claim they are for womens rights.
Effing idiots.
You might note, with body enhancement or plastic surgery taking “center stage” nowadays, it should come as no surprise that plastic surgery is allowed in Beauty Pageant shows including the widely acclaimed Miss Universe Pageant.
That said, this is ridiculous in the extreme.
Take a look at the winner’s picture. Maybe they need some different men doing the judging.
Do I really want to see this?
A bit of an odd face with hands the size of a basketball player
We as conservative men need to start facing the music – whatever we’re doing isn’t working and we’re getting our butts kicked.
Time to put our collective foot down and demand separate competitions for these people.
Could you ever have imagined the day would come where we had two beauty contests – one for women and one for women wannabes.
Good grief.
And when I was growing up we used to say – men were men and women wanted to be.
Now we have men wanting to be women!
And we have University Professors telling us children need to begin their “gender identification journey” at 4 or 5 years old, and be given puberty inhibiting drugs while they search their souls to find their true selves.
And as my father used to say, we have a lot of highly accredited people who are educated idiots.
Not to mention looney tunes…
Disgusting. Shows you how effective brain washing is that women who fought for women’s sports back in the day think this is fine.
Depleting our weapons cache and soon will be running out of men.
Every real woman should have withdrawn from this travesty.
Let me guess….Catlin Jenner is a judge.
The winner actually looks like Catlin.
I call your Tucker, and raise you one batshit Senator.
Tom is my favorite comedian, I watch his podcasts and specials religiously. I loved this story.
I fucking knew it was Ted Cruz….
I was on Twitter for maybe 6 months, a few months before and a few months after the 2020 election. Just another old man screaming into the wind, now I have you guys. It’s a cesspool of hatred and discord and I’m much happier without it. Plus, anything on Twitter that’s newsworthy or noteworthy i get eventually, sometimes here.
But I was put in Twitter jail 4 different times, each time for breaking ‘Incitement of Violence’ policies for wishing that Ted Cruz would stub his toe in perpetuity.
You’re smarter than I am. Until the end I thought it was Fetterman.
@Yes, I am 100 percent sure Ted Cruz said all of those things@
I highly doubt it was who the comedian said.
Good interview for those interested
Thanks for sharing this – always love listening to Tucker.
He confuses me a little bit at the beginning when he says he doesn’t get involved in politics. Recall listening to him on a radio show in DC every morning driving to work when Obama was president. I’d say he was pretty deep into it.
Maybe now he just means picking winners. Regardless, he has a refreshing point of view outside the mainstream media.
I thought the same. I think he meant he doesn’t get involved as far as directly supporting or campaigning for certain people. His whole career has been discussing current events, mostly in the political spectrum.
One of the first times I heard him, he was asked what he thought of the LBGT movement. His response was well until recently, I thought it meant guns, booze, ladies and tabacco so I was all for it.
Saw it on twitter. Love Tucker.
Pretty cool stuff….a little deep for a Monday afternoon but cool nonetheless.
It’s amazing it starts with a single dna wrap, adding and adding until Ben’s fat whore ass is before us.
Computer generated images? Or “real” photography?
Ballon Factory is mad I’m leaving in 2 weeks. I was the smartest illiterate on staff. Told them blame Brad he was my inspiration and corporate America sucks even at the lowest levels of our business economy.
Told them always remember, it ain’t got no gas in it.
From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs
That’s supply and demand right there buddy!
So now you can focus more on selling used sports equipment and repairing air compressors?
Thank you! Love me some highlights!
Yummy, love me some JJ
We know how it ended, but I’m looking forward to this. Usually this time of year I’m watching old games or rewatching the first few seasons of LCU on Netflix – it gets me hyped for the season (and it doesn’t take much as I’m generally hyped all year) Such a historic year, such an epically bad defense and like him or loathe him, our QB will be at the center of much of this given all the one-score games and the late game heroics. This will be fun.
I don’t watch TV and The Teacher doesn’t have Netflix.
If they show up on YouTube later I will give them a watch.
Definite watch, regardless of the players highlighted. I expect it to be eye opening for some. Think they’ll be seeing what it’s really like on and off the field.
A long time ago an old boss of mine used to say – “no job is too difficult for the guy who doesn’t have to do it.”
Looking at those hits in the first few minutes, this will open some eyes.
Ho-Lee-Shit that first hit shown Cousins took would permanently disable any of us MF’ers on here. Expect Kfey he would have turned in to dust like when Thanos snapped his fingers.
Yup. Leveled.
You’ll get no argument from me. That looked like getting rocked by a feisty heifer.
Dont kid yourself, we’d all turn to dust.
correct
Definite watch, but I don’t get netflix….
shoot.
Can always sail the high seas
The most fascinating part is the opening story read by Kirk.
”an injury to the QB, can sink the entire season ….”
Kirk and SI don’t seem to understand that wins aren’t a QB stat.
A bit of a somewhat awkward question which is – do the Vikings get the attention/recognition they deserve?
My thinking. There was a question yesterday about Cousins, stats, and HOF. In summary, with his stats continuing and the Vikings winning a SB, he would make it. I thought he wouldn’t because it doesn’t fit the national narrative.
This got me thinking do the Vikings really get their recognition. Just last year, KOC came in and as rookie turned things around and won 13 games. Yet, received pretty lukewarm recognition.
JJ had a great year. Yet, while most of national media acknowledges him. it seems rather matter of fact and then move quickly on to something else.
Even when we win a big game, like Buffalo last year, things are sort of presented in a back handed way by the national media.
I realize you earn respect and winning is big in this respect. Just seems a little off though to me.
I agree, but I enjoy being the underdog. Let ’em keep dogging the team, I think it’s motivation.
Most people don’t know this, but the last time the Cowboys won a Divisional playoff game was in 1995, the year of their last Super Bowl win. Yet the NFL Network, ESPN, etc slobbers all over them every year on the National media. It’s been almost 30 years, but they’re still the media darlings of the NFL.
A lot of the media attention revolves around ratings. The Cowboys have the most fans, per some poll I had seen a while back. So it would make sense that the media would slobber over them. Teams like the Vikings don’t get a lot of fans outside of Minnesota, or surrounding states. So their fanbase is much smaller and localized.
Man, that playoff game in 2009 was fun to watch. Their LB was crying like a bitch because Favre kept his foot on the gas all the way through the game. So much fun.
I have a lot of friends and family that are Cowboys fans, I took the family to see the cowboys Vikings preseason game. we got ridiculed by all of dem boys fans after that game.
After the playoff game, I commented on the Facebook about how it was nice they all got their chance to chastise us after the preseason game. A few of them didn’t talk to me for 3-6 months.
Laughing… nice
Once a narrative is in place it will take more to change that.
“Newton’s First Law of Motion states that a body at rest will remain at rest unless an outside force acts on it.”
Probably will take a SB win to move that narrative.
You’re probably right about the narrative. But there are a lot of teams that haven’t done much (e.g. Titans) and they seem to get pretty good press when they do something. We do something and it’s like more of the other team didn’t do something.
Look at Detroit, they haven’t won squat and they’re getting great press. The story below about Justin Fields – he couldn’t hit a barn with a football.
Look what we get.
We had two singularly impressive games last year with the Bills and the Colts, along with several other hotly contested games where we came from behind in the 4th quarter to win. Even the Saints game in London was exciting to the very end.
No love…
Beat Belichek in prime time on Thanksgiving and got no love for it… I’m fine with the press they get…. or don’t. Not the time of year for positive press either. From the private plane sent to convince Favre for the I’ll-advised ‘running it back’ year 2, to Korey Stringer, to ISIS operatives with ties to Al-Green-Baeda planting an IED in Teddy B’s knee. Just keep everyone healthy, hydrated and hungry to play football…
We had a LOT of coverage and respect back when we were attending superbowls……
Very true.
Mid size market, mediocre franchise. I don’t really see any reason for major media attention.
It’s not just the attention. It’s like the “type”of attention. I don’t explain this well but it seems even when we get it, it’s hardly as robust or thoughtful as it should be compared to what others get.
Compared to marquee franchises I would say yeah, its not the same.
19 days till training camp, 31 days till the first preseason game.
We’ll be at training camp, can’t wait.
Awesome! We’ll expect some reports, of course.
Decisions, decisions
Any one of those gutted and filled with OG Kush will do just fine….
Rong.
disservice to both.
Not at all. Look like good wraps. Paper will burn nice and slow, no runs. Will self extinguish too so no waste. Would recommend.
Or….
Just by swishers as I’m sure they’re much cheaper.
nah, enjoy kush first.
followed by the cigar.
win win. no need to mix.
Fair compromise
ESPN fired the wrong peeps
Clickbait.
Not suppose to be logical/smart, just trying to get a reaction.
Getting my ass kicked. My capitalist son owns all the properties.
Stay away from Boadwalk!
Definitely. Last thing you want is to get bombboaded paying the rent there….
especially with a hotel!
They key to winning is to acquire the 3 cheap blue properties and then mortgage everything to develop them. Any other strategies are secondary.
Red and orange properties work real well too.
The Orange properties are 2nd best…
The red are a little pricey to develop early in the game.
I swear by some quantum physics quandary that it is almost impossible to not land on the tan properties. You refer to them as orange, which is OK if you are color blind haha.
I am colorblind and you are correct about tan.
False, the key to winning is slipping in extra cash from the 2nd Monopoly game nobody knows about under your bed – which my sister did for 3 Christmas’s in a row, probably more.
I stand corrected.
When I played with my parents they would often sneak $500 under the edge of the board and when I was on the precipice of losing they would say oh hey is there a $500 there under the board? I finally caught on at my 21st birthday party.
No handouts in this house, this is America.
Wait there are reparations in our household plus the rich pay extra taxes. Game never ends basically.
LOL
My approach is different with every game, depending how things are going. I won the other day by acquiring those cheap assed Baltic & Mediteranean properties along with the blue ones you’re talking about. Kept him broke enough where he couldn’t put any houses on Park Place & Boardwalk, eventually bankrupted him.
There is still hope for you. The new monopoly rules levy a %20 percent tax on all wealth if your son has not implemented DEI policies….
Start a war in the living room, have him fund it and take 30% for yourself.
Time to teach your son about a little thing called “squatters rights.”
ha!
Just curious, as to how everyone plays; my family would put $500, and any of the “taxes” in the middle and if you land on free parking you would get whatever was in the middle, and another $500 would be added as seed money.
I do not like the “Free Parking” money alternate rule.
Probably because you never won it…
We also did not auction off properties that were mortgaged until after the player passed over it twice.
We would do the taxes thing but we would not pre-load Free Parking with 500.
Looking back it was a wealth redistribution policy….the democrates would be proud…tax from some and give to others for no apparent reason.
We also would occasionally deal out 3 properties to every player at the start.
But I like the plain-Jane rules the best.
We didn’t do the “$500”, but we did put the “taxes” in there.
Was Zimmer truly a D-back guru, or was it the fact that he coached Prime Time, Pacman and Rhodes?
I mean, having top end talent to work with always helps. Hard to say. We have to judge him by his full tenure here not just the last two seasons (just like we have to Judge Kwerky the baby deer for his full tenure, not just last year). Idk about a CB guru but the guy know how to run a defense. I will look back on those years fondly.
Darren Woodson, Terence Newman, DeAngelo Hall, Brent Grimes, Lawyer Milloy, George Teague, Roy Williams…
I believe KAM will be one of the best GMs the Vikings have ever had. The next two years are going to be fun to watch how he handles all of the expiring contracts.
Asking those who may know, is there a limit on Comp picks? could we end up with a ton of comp picks in 2025, if we let players walk and they sign and play elsewhere?
I agree, I love the direction in which the team is heading.
4 in a single draft is the max.
I agree.
Small moves that can add up to big changes.
its easier to cry and scream dumdum though.
Just as a matter of interest and not trying to be argumentative, why do you think KAM will be greatest GM ever?
Because…
Solid argument.
Just interested in different thoughts. Personally, I have not been impressed with his first two drafts.
The Draft Trades specifically were bad.
Players are still a question mark but drafting small/light/injury prone players and then being forced to scramble when they get hurt is ‘not smart’.
In my opinion, he has to nail the drafts to be a great GM. You got to get studs in the draft. Simply have to; otherwise, team is stuck.
Agree. I like that it’s not the same ol’ Rick strategy, so still giving the new management the benefit of the doubt. Can they draft and develop well?
That’s what we’re waiting to see.
Right, that was my point, to be determined.
Will know a lot more about how well he drafted this year.
if it turns out that Booth, Cine, Evans, Asamoah, Roy, and Ward are above average starters? Huge W.
throw in a guy like Pace getting some playing time as UDFA… another Huge W.
Ingram needs to step up. No more excuses for his rookie year.
a lot remains to be seen, between big Ed’s horrible defensive scheme last year and the injuries but that stuff should be cleared up this year. Time to shit or get off the pot.
Agree a lot needs to play out. Thus, not ready to put him in the Vikings HOF just yet. But remain open about it.
Mostly just trying to get to Skolly with that comment, although I feel like he is doing a good job considering the cap hell and lack of picks, when he started his job.
The next off season will be interesting with all of the free agents we will have.
Norm Macdonald is pure gold.
RIP.
Dude had a heart of gold too. And the sheer will power to naturally fight cancer and hide it from basically everyone in his life until his final moments, I cant really comprehend it still to this day.
Sure is.
^^This. Google ‘Norm Macdonald Moth Joke on Conan’ I’ve seen it a few hundred times and every time I’m dying laughing.
RIP indeed….
Being productive this morning, check out those lines.
Looks like the Augusta of the north. Nice work.
Thanks man, enjoying this time at home.
Our daughter’s memorial garden, really filling in nicely.
Beautiful!
You get fired or just taking time off?
He fired himself
I’m firing you.
Got tired of waiting for them to do so he decided to spend the summer with family.
I resigned, it’s been in the plans for a while. Corporate America can suck a fart out of my ass. Going fully self employed after I take some time to decompress and focus on the family for a while.
LOL, yeah corporate america sucks. Have fun decomposing though.
Hopefully he has awhile before he decomposes.
Decompose decompress, tomayto tomahto
Congrats! Knew it was coming, but missed that you actually made the move.
My friend group calls those Dad lines, those are exquisite.
WOW!
Kirky the Minny GOAT on Quarterback Netflix series dropping tomorrow
You have to win SOMETHING in your football career to be a GOAT, so.
@He got selected to the Pro Bowl@
As an alternate LMAO
Feel good story for today.
I think the Judge that presided over his trial said something like “I just signed your death sentence” and that caused a legal stir. He’s in jail for 40 years or something, so it is likely he will die in jail one way or the other.
Unless he goes transy or something.
I will never underestimate the craziness of our society.
Wouldn’t shock me if he got out.
🚂🚂🚂
Unlikely. Fed sentence was 60 years – no parole unless convicted before 1987 IIRC. State sentences were started at 40 year minimums, maxing at 125-175 years or something close. Not even a transition changes that, just would insure some sort of AdSeg or Predatory Target Housing. He ain’t getting out.
AdSeg is designed as a temporary housing option.
SHU (Secure Housing Unit) is long term housing.
Worked in both, AdSegs have much more drama.
It’s been over 10 years since the last time I had first hand knowledge but AdSeg in NE was our form of Protective Custody (at least at NSP, can’t speak for Tecumseh – where our death row is located) They could very well be calling it the SHU here as well.
In Calif, Administrative Security is where you put people after a fight/drama until they figure out what to do with them.
SHU is where you put the long term/hard core/gang bangers.
That makes sense.
Both have drama/issues.
But in the SHU the senior Gangster runs the Juniors.
If you could talk/deal with the Sr the Jrs would do what they were told.
The crazies were uncontrollable of course.
Hope he dies a slow, painful death.
Same.
Look at that face! These phsycos always look like they are from another planet.
Isn’t this how they got rid of Dahmer? Finally got a Psychologist to sign off on him going into Gen Pop and within a week he was dead.
Love it!
Read an article on Josh Allen. He says he’s getting too old to keep taking big hits. Said he always considered himself “a football player first and a QB second” but he needs to flip that now. Apparently some have labeled him a turnover machine and are calling him “interception Allen” as well. He had 14 interceptions and 21 fumbles last year (only lost 8 though). Allen says that’s something he needs to fix. He says he is more focused on football now though and looking forward to having a big year.
I’m sure Diggs is happy to hear all this.
Will be interesting to see. It seems the guys who run around and make plays have problems when they just try to sty in the pocket, read and throw.
Not sure Diggs will be happy no matter what happens.
Well if you want a basketball analogy, Josh wants to go from being a power forward, to being a point guard. You’re right, those are two different types of player.
Basketball sucks though
Yes, yes it does
No arguments from me.
It does but the dude in Cincy who stole 2nd, then 3rd, then home while the pitcher was literally watching him was badass….
I saw that, was pretty impressive, stole 3 bases off two pitches.
False, Allen didn’t fumble 21 times last year. IDK how many times he fumbled but I know for a fact Fields led the NFL with 16 fumbles.
You’re correct, the article was wrong (or I read it wrong). Allen fumbled 13 times last year and lost 5.
Yeah I just knew Fields led the league last year, and has 28 fumbles with 16 lost in just 25 games started, add his ints and he has 37 turnovers in 25 games which is pretty astonishing in todays NFL. He’s also taken 91 sacks, which is partly due to some poor oline play but also because he has no pocket awareness.
holy cow 13 fumbles lol….that’s absolutely horrendous and if Cousins did that they would ban him from the league. Allen impregnates random women and is praised. Go figure.
I don’t think anyone praised him for impregnating random women, I did see he was getting praise for banging Hailee Steinfeld though
Just checked… the last TWO years Josh Allen has 21 fumbles with 8 lost. In his five years in the league he has 52 fumbles with 20 lost. No idea if that’s bad compared to all other QB’s in that timeframe.
If your name is even mentioned WRT fumbles and interceptions, it’s probably not a good thing.
Unless you are a Kirk Crusader.
Then the fumbles and INT’s aren’t his fault……
I never thought of Josh Allen as an elite QB, more of an elite athlete. Daboll was able to figure out an offense that made him look better than he really was. Now he is doing it with Dan Jones.
T-minus 2 months until the regular season kicks off for the Vikings.
Summer is flying by. I think its more prevalent in the north because everyone crams EVERY MAJOR EVENT into 3 months of the year. I either work or have something going on every weekend now until the first of September.
Lol. Wooooof.
Pfffff… NFL QB’s are a dime a dozen… they grow on trees… just pick one and you’re good to go.
Just kidding, but this also raises the question, if you draft a QB and he isn’t the best guy in camp, do you stick with him regardless, or cut him?
Willis was the 22nd pick in the 3rd.
while Levis was the 2nd pick of the 2nd.
I don’t know how you pick between the two when both have little and no playing time.
Willis was dubbed the next Lamar right?
“I see him every day in practice”…
Yup Mond 2.0
When I played QB, my coach told me I needed to do two things to be the starter. Know the offense like the back of my hand, and execute it with great command. I think this is pretty standard advice to every QB at every level. Mond was clearly not able to do that in a way that gave Zimmer any confidence.
Its very simple, the previous GM, drafted Willis, the current GM drafted Levis so it isn’t too difficult to figure out what will happen. Also, Willis is abysmal, he can’t throw accurately and was an embarassment in the 3 games he started.
Ben likes the titans more than me.
I don’t really care about the titans, just remembered their GM got fired during the season last year, which is rare for a GM
Zim has hacked NVF´s account. Hi Zim.
Willis sucks and will be cut.
Skolly looking like a dum dum.
Tale as old as time
Finally a decent ranking. I’d have him at 7 personally. There is no way no how Trevor Lawrence has a better conceptual understanding of being a QB, runs a more complex system, has more experience in what he’s seeing, and can get more out of less in an offense than Kirk Cousins. Lawrence has potential but he is nowhere near it yet.
But Lawrence has already been appointed a media darling. And Tua – really!
Lawrence has talent, and Doug Pederson is the perfect coach for him. Remains to be seen if he can be really good over the next 5 years.
Josh Allen currently has a career 62.5% completion rate, and a career 92.1 passer rating. What has set him apart has been his swashbuckling style of play and running ability. He makes mistakes with the ball though and fumbled at his goal line against us. He threw a number of interceptions in the red zone last year too. He is an exciting player. I wouldn’t say he is a great QB.
Still not sold on Lawrence Hurts either for that matter. Also don’t think Allen throws all that accurately and never has. These lists are more PR than anything to me.
They left out Justin Fields, he gonna break out this year ya know.
LOL
Don’t forget Jordan Love. He’s gonna be MVP.

For my money, this is the best Pink Floyd song…
Iv tried to like PF, I really have, but I cant get over the slow, droning, stoner vocals. I can respect them has musicians but, their music is not for me. Has 0 energy or drive.
No argument there. High Hopes is the only PF song I listen to regularly.
Without the influence of the Beatles, would they even exist?
Even the Beatles are overrated.
You’ve gotto be kinding – based on what?
Its just my opinion, nothing more. By the totality of the evolution of Rock. They didn’t invent the genre, but they helped make it popular by making it pop. And their early year live shows were terrible. I get at the time, there was nothing like it, but in the grand scheme of things, their music is meh. To me anyway. I hold the Stones in much higher regard than the Beatles. Their shit stands the test of time and still resonates. So easily offendable JRobert.
No. I love the Stones and think they are the greatest. Just wouldn’t say the Beatles were over rated.
Thats fair. I think they are, basically a weird cult following and no one views their music with a critical eye. I could be over critical too lol
I put the Stones on a pedestal as well. My favorite band of all time is AIC – but I believe The Rolling Stones are the greatest band of all time – but I also don’t hate The Beatles.
I dont hate them, I just think their music can be boring, there’s songs I like for sure but…yeah, not anywhere near the top of my list. I LOVE AIC. Laynes voice can not be replaced. I love singing covers of them.
Having lived thru that era, I also thought Chicago and Blood,Sweat and Tears were also great. And certainly the Beach Boys have stood the test of time.
Have you seen this cover of 25 or 6 to 4? Its SO good.
Absolutely. After a few beers, spent a lot of time on the dance floor to this music.
My 4 y/o daughter loves the Band Chicago lately, I do as well.
That is cool…your daughter has good tastes. My son, now 20, loves Chicago. He got to see them live when he was about 12 and has been hooked ever since. It was the first live concert he went to.
That’s awesome, I remember the first concert I went to live as well. Also, I was pretty proud when the daycare teacher told me my daughter requested they play Saturday In The Park and If You Leave Me Now, although she calls it Baby Please Don’t Go.
Gotcha. And I agree about Layne. Never heard anyone like him before or sense. Weird Comparison but he reminds me of Dwight Yoakum, who I also love – incredibly unique voice IMO.
Based on the fact that their music sucks. They were incredibly influential though.
The Beatles are the most covered band in history, and it’s by a mile. I’d say the proof in the pudding is in the eating. Most covered band ever says something about the quality of their music IMO.
Music taste can be largely generational. I don’t promote that or beer.
Popular does not equal good. Again, this is all personal taste. And imo, a majority of people have terrible taste in general. Film, music, food, etc.
The Beatles are like the Bud Light of music, tasteless so that most everyone can at least tolerate it.
They suck
Hey Brad
Enjoy your time with your family. Best of luck fishing, I know you will have a great time w your son regardless.
Looking forward to seeing the changes you have in mind for this place.
I agree….this will show the Cousins H8’er brigade how petty and opposite reality grievance filled they are. Their hate for him is about their feelings being hurt because the TEAM lost…awwwwwwh pooooooor baby….your feels are upset, who you going to blame and wrongly lash out at? Grow up.

Would love to see the huddle on the last two drive of the WC game. Realists live rent free in your head my guy. Movin on up to the pent house suite.
Would absolutely love this too. Wan’t the next to last series screen play left, screen play right. Wonder what the players thought about that.
Aren’t the Manning’s behind this. Would love to have Peyton break down the last play frame by frame showing the routes, defense reactions, line blocking. Maybe run a few frames, stop analyze with comment, run a few frames etc. Believe this would be enlightening.
I have zero interest in the show but I know others are looking forward to it.
If for nothing else, I think most people have no idea what really goes into playing NFL football especially at the QB position. This should provide a lot of insight.
Will it though? It feels like its basically going to be hard nocks but just for QBs, you might get a little more of their personal day to day life (the things I care the least about) but you still aren’t going to get the full story.
Not sure. But just from the trailers, folks are going to see them getting the shit knocked out of them and a lot of time in the training room and ice tubs. Just the sheer force of the shots they take will be revealing to many.
Unless they show Kirk taking grilling lessons, the show is a failure.

“If you think an education is expensive, wait until you see what ignorance costs.”
You’d know better than anyone what with working in the air compressor repair plant inflating balloons with the illiterates
Based on your negative response the quote impressed you. You’re welcome for the free education.
“We are so focused on our search for truth, we fail to consider how few actually want us to find it. But it is always there, whether we see it or not, whether we choose to or not. The truth doesn’t care about our needs or wants. It doesn’t care about our governments, our ideologies, our religions. It will lie in wait for all time. Where I once would fear the cost of truth, now I only ask: What is the cost of lies?”
Glendive hasn’t passed a school bond issue in 50 years. That should change next month…HS needs $8M in repairs…after that there will be a new elementary school bond issue coming.
I don’t mind paying taxes to support the kids….
Minot finally got its collective head of its ass and passed a bond to build a 2nd high school…because we only had 1 public high school we were the largest HS in the state by over 600 students. Ridiculous.
The problem in MT is that approximately one third of the local school funding comes from local property taxes. No sales tax (I wish they would legislate a sales tax) so the property owners get bent over while non property owners get to vote on levies, bonds, etc…then you get those that say they are already maxed out and can’t afford any more taxes, “I’m on a fixed budget” etc…
