‘GM search is nearing an answer the fans desperately want’.
Personally I hope for a good GM but would be fine with Rob and then the coaching staff having more say in which players are targeting. But Desperate? not so much.

Really there is some NFL rule that says you can’t play any games until a full time GM is hired??

Saw some ESPN reports that Kyler Murray has quickly absorbed the Vikings playbook and is carrying himself as an “alpha QB” in early practices.
OK… how the heck would they know any of that? As Campbell noted below, this is the pajama party in May. They aren’t running the play book at all. They’re playing pitch and catch.
Makes me think he is doing the opposite because ‘Fake News’ especially ‘Fake Sports Expert Reports’.
Could be, but I still think there’s no way for them to know anything about his mastery, or lack thereof, of the playbook. And strutting around like an “alpha” anything, doesn’t mean crap.

Yup, I have no doubt that he was ‘strutting around’ the Card facility back when they couldn’t get him to study the playbook there.
They probably saw him strutting around and talking crap about something that sounded like football but didn’t realize he was talking crap about how much he kicked ass for 4 hours at Madden instead of learning the real playbook.

The pajamas comment is pretty solid. He reminds me a little of Mike Ditka.
I think KOC has a little bit of that to him behind the scenes, like I remember him death staring raegor and cursing at him a couple years ago on the sideline after he quit on a route, but he’d never say anything non pc in front of the media
Last Friday of the month so The Teacher and I went coupon and deal shopping and this month they even had a $15 off a $150 total bill coupon.

I feel the same way. The guy is obviously quick, and fast, but in the NFL you have to be able to pick up the blitz. I used to love watching Cook stick his nose in there and take on much bigger people. He was fierce.

My favorite: Mark Bavaro – loved that guy. Tough as nails. His collision with Ronnie Lott on MNF back in the day was epic, I remember it as vividly as the Atwater hit on Okoye.
The GOAT: Gronk – I don’t remember him ever failing in clutch moments. Physical freak.

Goat for me is Kellen Winslow after watching him in that playoff game for in ’81 for San Diego.

I also love that he had as many rushing attempts as a college player as I did. Zero. Caught a few passes, but zero carries. Just primarily a blocker, and a good one.

Anybody else having trouble logging in lately? For the last few weeks I have to open a verification email about every other time I log in and now the last 3 days in a row, after logging in I get a “Too Many Requests” warning and the website won’t load.
No e-mails here but ‘re-log in’ every few days. A little more frequent than usual.
I’ve always had to log in about every day. I think it lasts for about 24 hours. The too many requests and email verification are new. I would have had a new post up sooner, but I had to wait 30 minutes after logging in to get the website to load.
I usually go weeks without logging in.
And then I get a few daily in a row and then back to weeks again.
The Remember Me function could hide its own Easter eggs.
Just refreash when it says to verify
I’ve tried and that didn’t work. Not that big of a deal. This too many requests thing is annoying though.
