Good Morning!
It’s time for our weekly mailbag here at Skoloholics. As always our staff will research your questions about the Vikings, NFL or life in general with a well thought out mediocre answer.
For salary cap questions I’ll continue using overthecap.com so I’m consistent with the numbers.
Any trades involving draft picks I’m using the updated NFL Trade Value Chart developed by Rich Hill available at https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart-Rich-Hill.asp
For evaluating or looking up draft prospects or rookies my go to is thedraftnetwork.com
If I can’t come up with what I think is a legitimate answer, I’ll ask someone who I think can provide one.
Leave us a question in the comments section, I’ll revisit it later in the week.
Cutoff for questions will be Wednesday evening, expect the mailbag to post that afternoon depending on what I have going on in real life.
Being a Viking fan is painful. While close games are fun, losing them due to our poor execution the worse kind of pain. This is coming from someone who watched the team in 4 Super Bowls, so trust me, I know pain. What do you recommend we do in order to forget the pain:
How do we get through some of these games?
After KOC pressor, he’s not making any changes to the coaching staff on def but he did kind of leave the door open for it. Any chance they hand the play calling duties over to Pettine if the Vikings put up another sticker on defense?
This is my question as well. KOC was (surprisingly) candid about considering changes, do you think anything major will come of it? No way they make a DC change or anything like that, but might they bring Pettine (or someone else in) to “provide input” on the defense and/or the defensive play calling?
Pirateflip pondered: Could you try to come up with something to mitigate the occurrence/severity of concussions, besides turning the game into flag football? I’m hoping for a magical medical fast acting cure, maybe involving mushrooms.
