  • Keep politics out. We are adults, news happens, and we can talk about it. What we don’t want is to go down the rabbit holes and turn a productive conversation into name calling and personal attacks.
  • Be cool to one another. Like it says above, just be civil. You don’t need to agree with everyone and that’s fine, you also don’t need to make it personal. Attack the argument not the poster.
  • Keep the NSFW to a minimum. We don’t need anyone getting in trouble at work for hanging out here.
  • All in all, be adults. Treat each other with respect and things will be fine. Mods will take out content they feel is pushing the boundary. If you want to reach out about something feel free to ask. We want to have robust discussions, that’s why we’re here. Just be civil and cool to one another.

speaking of pig, culvers (on of my favorite fast food places) are now using thick cut bacon at all of their restaurants, replacing the super thin greasy gross bacon they used before, and my bacon double cheesburger on saturday, was MUCH better with their new bacon

There was a local joint down the road here that had a burger topped with pulled pork and a mustard sauce.

Had a peanut butter burger as well.

My favorite was the Barnyard. Burger topped with bacon, smoked ham, fried egg and covered in sausage gravy with two waffles as the bun.

Place was a pandemic casualty thanks to an overreaching health department.

It also was a contributing factor in me weighing damn near 450 lbs 3 years ago. I’d eat there twice a week.

But I do miss that burger.

For all you folks clamoring for McCarthy:

For a piece published on Monday, former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky named new Atlanta Falcons signal-caller Kirk Cousins as his main “prospect-to-pro comp” regarding J.J. McCarthy of the Michigan Wolverines.

“McCarthy and Cousins play with a high level of conviction and routinely make difficult throws from the pocket look easier than they should,” Orlovsky explained. “The former Michigan quarterback has his eyes and arm tied to his feet on when and where to throw the ball.”

My my my ….. you have opened the door and just asking for the boys to rise up.
Tell you what – words cheap, lets watch some film.
Go back. to 2012 Cousins rookie season – sitting on the bench behind RGlll.
Near end of season RGlll goes down 4th quarter against would be SB champs Ravens and Cousins goes in 4th QTR and overtime – game recap film available on internet.
Next week Cousins starts and plays entire game against Browns (must win to make playoffs). Again, game available on film to watch.
If JJ can play this well as a rookie, he’ll be just fine.

This is true. In Cousins first start in the NFL he completed over 70% of his passes for 329 yards, and 2 TD’s with a 104.4 passer rating. Running an offense custom built for RGIII.

Slick Rick thinks JJ will cost us #11, #23, 2025s #1 plus extra draft capital.

Questions become is he that much better than Nix or Penix at #23.

JJ at #11 is still the dream.

I hope it is not possible.

I can stomach #11 and #23 if that is what KOC and KAM says we have to do.
I think adding in 2025s picks is going too far.
#23 and and a 2025 pick? Maybe.
Hope KAM can swing a decent deal if a deal has to be swung.

Brent Kollmann is renown for his video breakdowns.

The scheme that Nix was in required those throws, that doesn’t mean those are the only ones he could throw.

Just like JJ wasn’t ask to do more at Mich does not mean that he ‘couldn’t’ do more.

that is why Kollmann said he had to look at so much tape on them.

What was odd to me about Dobbs was, KOC said they researched him and specifically targeted him to bring in. Then, he couldn’t actually run the offense; just run around. Based on that, one would have to wonder if the team can actually identify a good QB.

I read this as predominantly white nations are causing global warming. Meanwhile, predominantly black countries are suffering from global warming.

A couple of notes, not mentioned in the article: predominantly white (or non-black) countries are industrialized which yes, does cause emissions some believe are attributing to climate change. These countries also have infrastructure and amenities that help make warmer, drier climates more bearable.

Whereas, countries like Zambia, which the article mentions, is not industrialized and does not offer the infrastructure or amenities that industrialized countries do.

Therefore, climate change must be racist.

So I got to thinking about it and it would be nice to have a speed threat to take the top off of the Defense so that JJ and Addison can work the underneath.

I looked in the 7th round of my Mock and found a Small School Guy, Flournoy, SW Missouri St, 6-1, 202 lbs, 9.89 RAS that ran a 4.44 40 at the combine. Seems like a good use of our 230 or 232 pick.
