Tropicana Field got destroyed in the hurricane, in case you want some visual, and understanding of the power of the storm.
I know we lost power at my house last night around 9 p.m. 3.2M people without power in Fl now.
That’s what Norse always says.
Haha this I can agree with (not even including the huge implications of cheating on top of that).
My question is… how about all those electric cars getting flooded, and also no power? Yeah…
I’ve seen videos of people trying to escape FL with generators strapped to the back of their EVs.
Hmmmmm
Well you know who took trips on the short bus.
Thought in read from Helene wet EV’s can be a fire hazard.
Seems when people double down, they just keep doing it.
Just heard the Jets new interim HC said “he is going to lean on Aaron Rogers” to fix the offense.
I find that amazing – did he watch Sunday’s game.
The OC is Nathaniel Hackett who obviously has worked with Aaron Rodgers now for years. Aaron would probably have already told Hackett what he thought was working and not working, I’d think.
I think Rogers is the problem and Hackett is his lap dog.
Rogers wants no motion, no three receiver clusters, no play action – it’s a throw back offense.
And then Rogers himself is playing pretty poorly.
There offense does need to be fixed but think maybe Rogers should look inward first.
You mean in one of those huts filled smoke and you meditate for hours? Oh wait…
The Douche resents the implication that he got Saleh fired.
Which likely means he in fact told Woody to fire Saleh on the Monday night phone call.
And he loved McCarthy and had nothing to do with his firing either.
Correct.
Sounds like Disney is preparing for $200 million in losses because of the hurricane.
I hope you stay safe.
Thanks. Parks are all closed. In fact, we were having all the kids coming to town to go to a special Disney Halloween Event Friday. Just got all the money back.
Just now starting to get a little dicey outside.
And Rogers, what can you say – would have probably made a good politician.
Stay safe, mate.
Thank you.
Panda Poop!!??? We are talking about Panda poop now?
You just never know what educating conversations will break out on this site.
Haha yeah, I assume the fecal matter is pretty fibrous due to it being nearly exclusively bamboo breakdown.
So it’s more like

That’s where those things come from! haha
Did you see that story where China was painting dogs to look like pandas at a zoo exhibit?
Those Chinese are problem solvers, I tell you!
Yes, I thought that was funny. People started getting suspicious when the pandas started barking.

3 of the top 4 are NFCN teams? Wild!
Thats a list of all NFC teams…
I understand, but did you expect the top 4 to include 3 NFCN teams?
In case anyone is interested, I did write a short story in the Fan Huddle. Please don’t beat me up to much, if you read it. Writing stories is not my strong suit.
What is the Fan Huddle and where is it located?

LOVED reading that. That was a great memory maker and alot of fun to read.
i can’t help but imagine how many words it would have taken Mt Vikings to write that……
Thank you, I’ve been trying to do things out of my comfort zone. I may write more in the future.
you should, a family of 13? you have to have a ton of great stories
Great story JV.
13 freaking kids….???
I believe there are 32 grandkids. I haven’t sat down and counted in a while. with 10 Great grand kids.
Great story – big family! Loved the last sentence.
The time it takes to read your story is well invested, thanks for sharing!
Maybe it’s a good thing for JJ to be out for the year. Definitely happy to have KOC to develop a young guy though. He seems to get that position pretty well.
I believe the biggest issue with developing 1st round QBs, is the team that drafts them just expects them to know how to handle themselves. Like Jamarcus Russel, everyone laughs at how the coaches sent blank tapes home with him to study film. Maybe they should have worked with him on how to study film and what to look for. Don’t just assume he knows how to study film. He may have never had to study film because his talent was so high, he just out did everyone he faced up to the point of entering the NFL, where everyone has that level of talent.
Yeah, more help would probably be the better way to go there. Unless they were offering help and he was just declining or blowing it off.
I think a lot of the super studs out of college, never had to do a lot of studying. They overall athleticism is what made them successful, but that doesn’t fly in the NFL where everyone was one of the best at their position.
I agree. I think they get a big head and think “I’ve never had to do that before, why would I now?”. I would assume the organization does everything in their power to help them succeed (because they greatly want success), but you never know.
Like Arizona trying to put a clause in Murray’s contract that he would study a certain amount every week
I’m surprised Warner hasn’t gone into coaching.
That’s an excellent presentation. He’s a thoughtful guy.
one of my favorite things to do on this site is to produce a comment/question that is so provocative it pits people against eachother and makes enemies
“Provoking good football discussion” is what it is. Haha
I am for that, as it gives me a chance to use one of my favorite GIFs.
Since we have been discussing if it’s OK to root for the *aints these days… nope, still not OK.
Meh, different group of people all together. I’d rather hate the Broncos now since they actually have some association to the Saints team from 15 years ago.
yeah, i feel you…
i don’t mind Al Qaeda now that a whole new regime is running their show….
That doesn’t even compare. Good try though hahaha. Difference is Al Qaeda is still killing folks while the Saints are not the big cheaty bastards they once were.
i’m between slighty and moderatly concerned about Aaron Jones health moving forward. He seems to get dinged up in every game, and “week to week” is not a prognosis i was hoping for.
if he goes out, we are screwed with Chandler as our top back. i doubt we can address the issue during the season, unless they swing a trade to a terrible team for a not crazy draft pick…but idk.
i hope these 2 weeks off really improve Jones’s hip and won’t get worse.
I think trading for a RB should be a higher priority than guard. They’re sufficient at guard and have Risner coming back. If Jones is out for any amount of time, they could be in trouble. Etienne might be available. Maybe reach out to our old friend in Cleveland and see if they’ll part with Chubb (pending medical of course)?
Rhamondre Stevenson might be available. He’s solid but has had early season fumbling issues so NE might be willing to part with him for a mid-late round pick depending on his contract.
yes, i agree that RB should be our #1 priority.
We have made due with our Oline, and if Risner is back in a couple weeks, barring any catastrophic injury #nojinx, we should be FINE there. i don’t think we face any tougher front Dlines than we have already faced.
Holy cats! Is it 1984? RB is our #1 priority? Is this from the crew where I hear every draft season that RBs literally grow on trees, you can find them anywhere? Listen, we are not OK at RG. Jones being so dang good is what makes our OL look passable in the run game. We aren’t finding another Jones right now in FA or in the draft. RG needs to be addressed too.
Amen – fix the IOL.
If the Chiefs can pick up RB’s (and WR’s too) literally off the street and make it work, why can’t we.
Yeah, so they should get one. Chandler isn’t going to cut it if Jones is out now or God forbid gets hurt later in the season.
Chandler could cut it better if we had a RG who wasn’t absolute trash. Risner isn’t the fix, he is trash in the run game.
I agree. Chandler isn’t the issue. He is good (you might say not as good as Jones, but he is a competent and explosive RB).
Every running play starts with ‘adequate blocking.’
Good blocking will make even an average back look very good.
I’ve only ever seen 2 backs ever absolutely excel even when literally they were the only offensive weapon and had shitty blocking. Sanders and AP.
Good athletes take advantage of the opportunities given. The greats make their own opportunities.
No team will ever consistently run the ball well if the IOL allows penetration – not get the tackle necessarily, but penetration.
Yet somehow behind the line that all you doomers claim is the biggest dumpster fire in the history of football, they were doing just fine with Jones. Maybe Chandler just isn’t that good.
Wow, 1/2 game where the line was man-handled and we couldn’t get runs going (minus the 35yd one called back) and suddenly he’s the worst RB ever! I mean, he did fumble once on that toss, but THE SKY IS FALLING!!! HOLY CRAP!!!
Overreaction.
Can you name one game where Chandler has looked good?
Several games where he’s had huge runs or screen pass catches, but many of those have been called back (if you recall last season and the last game). I don’t know why he gets screwed on that stuff, but he’s had a lot of explosive gains get flagged back.
Look at the last game? He doesn’t get that 35yd gain called back and suddenly he’s averaging just as high as Jones.
Hard to get in a rhythm when he’s not getting used as much, and that DL was wearing our OL line down in the second half of last game.
Maybe he is able to break those because of the penalty? He saw plenty of time at the end of last season and he had one game over 70 yards.
Haha no. Fake holding penalties away from the ball, “illegal shift” that didn’t happen. Most of them are BS when the refs want to stall a drive. Anyone who has watched a lot of games has seen a ton of them for him, for whatever reason. I feel bad for the guy.
Look no doom. Perhaps realism and wanting to win. a SB.
For several years we have won games with ONLY a passing game – no running, no defense and crappy kickers.
Right now, even if we have ZERO running game, our passing game, defense and special teams can get us into playoffs.
But,making it all the way, running game would be very helpful.
And good line play can make even an average back look good.
And doing “just fine” in the regular season may well not be near good enough in the playoffs.
I don’t disagree. I just think you are way more likely to be able to upgrade the RB depth than you are going to be able to upgrade the IOL at this juncture. Maybe in the offseason, but that doesn’t help now.
I see it from the other direction – Doesn’t the RB have to learn more things on a new team than a G?
Where to line up;
What the hell the QB is saying;
What gap the hole is supposed to be;
When to pick up the blitzing guy;
What route to run on a pass play;
What check-down area to trickle out to on a pass play
Whereas the G has to learn:
Don’t let the guy in front of you get to the QB (a concept that doesn’t change team to team)
Which side to block the guy in front of you to open a hole
Pulling
hey, watch your lip, boy…
also i wasn’t saying get another Jones…
but can we at least find like a vintage AP??!?!?
I bet AP could use some cash…
Up next, MOAR FBs and MOAR WYSHBONE formation!
I’d rather see more Ham than more Chandler.
Yikes, Ham is not good and has fumbling issues as well. Definitely not.
Lol…. Ham’s tuddy on Sunday was literally the difference in the game.
He’s had some big 3rd down conversions and TD’s over the years.
Had a timely punt block against SF in week 2.
Agree he’s not a lead back in any way (the fumble against the Giants wasn’t great)
The thought of using a slow FB like him at HB is laughable. He can gain a few yards when needed at times, but not close to a feature back.
Hmmmm……trading a medical issue for another medical issue? Wouldn’t be my first choice.
PSA – Folks, always use a tree stand safety harness. My cousin’s son just learned the hard way. Several broken ribs, vertebrae, and collarbone.
I think Chubb would be a stretch but they are dysfunctional enough right now who knows. Etienne or Stevenson are the top two that jump to mind. What about getting Dalvin off the couch or is he with a team now?
Ouch!
Heard the Etienne talk this morning. Jags 1-4, have Tank Bigsby….. Etienne still on his rookie deal iirc. Would add some firepower and an interesting 1-2 punch if they pull it off.
When he does come back, maybe the FTP’s scheme wouldn’t be a bad idea – a Jones series, a Chandler series, a Jones series, ……………….
I thought that is how we started the year, but the last couple of games it was Jones until we had a lead and then bring in Chandler.
Maybe that’s why the offense has been sputtering
Trying to kill clock and they know we’re going to run…. maybe that’s why he’s struggling.
And maybe you don’t agree, because we clearly see different things with Chandler, but Darnold has played terrible the 2nd half of the last two games (and it’s not the RB’s fault).
Maybe it’s
I saw an article saying the Vikings should get Miles Sanders from the Panthers.
I don’t know what any of that means. I just saw the article.
I say let’s get a bigger same size with Chandler, as I don’t agree “we are screwed” with him. I don’t think it’s as big of a drop-off as many here seems to think. Let’s give him more than just a half game of play. He broke off a 35+ yard run that was called back because of “illegal shift”, which I think was bogus. Regardless, availability is important, and Jones does have significant injury problems. If Chandler gets hurt, then we are screwed.
Chandler has averaged approximately 2 yards per carry behind the same line that Jones is averaging 5-6 yards per carry. That’s a significant drop off. Chandler has only ever shown flashes in the preseason. In the regular season he has been lacking.
Chandler is an okay change-of-pace back. Jones is a work horse.
Jones needs to get better bad.
And we need a better plan for if he follows his history and gets hurt again. They’re not going to find another Jones, but there are backs available that would be an improvement over Chandler.
False. Look at the stats. AJ is 4.9 for the year, Chandler is 3.5 on just over half the carries.
https://www.espn.com/nfl/team/stats/_/name/min/minnesota-vikings
And Chandler’s YPC is heavily skewed from one long run since he has a limited number of carries.
NYG – 2.1 YPC
SF – 8.2 (had a 25 yarder)
HOU – 1.9
GB – 1.7
NYJ – 2.1
Aaron Jones:
NYG – 6.7
SF – 3.6
Hous – 5.4
GB – 4.2
NYJ – 4.1
Aaron Jones gets twice as many chances, too. Better take out his long runs as well!
That is completely opposite of how the math works. I gave you the actual game by game averages. If you don’t carry the ball as many times, one longer run is going to skew the average more than one long run in 100 carries. Outside of SF he has average 2 yards per carry. That’s not good. It’s not even good enough.
I know what you’re saying – but I’m saying if he gets a chance to get in a rhythm and that a few of those chances turn into big gains and you have a lift up of the overall average. You have 6 chances a game and get stuffed by poor line play or a stupid KOC call a few times and your stats look bad.
He is explosive – just needs more attempts IMO.
But he got those attempts and carries last year and only did anything with it in one game.
He’s a good change of pace back and I think he’ll do better in limited touches. They need to look at their options for somebody that could come in and at least be part of a committee should Jones go down.
For example, bring in Etienne (or Cook, Harris, idk) and while Jones is healthy he takes 1/2-2/3 of the carries and the rest are split between new Jack and Chandler. If (based on history probably when) Jones goes down for multiple game, new Jack and Chandler split the carries and they both end up with around 15 carries.
Haha okay. He had 102 total carries last year and averaged 4.5 ypc (highest on team), barely less than Jones is now.
You are very biased and wrong.
hey, listen here buddy. if you don’t agree with me SCREW YOU
jk.
that’s fair, he did have that long run.
Which is likely why the Pukers moved off of him.
Jones is very good when healthy.
But he can’t stay healthy for very long it appears.
Maybe they can get this guy with the 32nd pick next spring
Boise State?
Eh. Mattison….
Just an update. We evacuated Monday morning to Mobile Al (my brothers house). We brought both cars and all three cats. We have watched the exodus from Florida, and obviously our quick decision to evacuate was prudent. We’re safe and sound. We’ll see what the house looks like when we return.
Is your house high enough to avoid the storm surge?
I think so. We’re about 7 or 8 miles inland. We’ve heard the surge could come in 9 or 10 miles though.
Good luck. Hopefully it’s just wind which sounds like it’s gonna be bad enough.
We had gusts to 80 mph with Helene. Not gonna sit there with 120+ winds hitting us. Also, power and water outages. My brother says “stay as long as you like”. We don’t plan to come back until there’s power and water at a minimum.
Good plan. My wife’s cousin lives just southeast of Tampa I think and they are riding it out. I said they are stupid.
Indeed. So many folks have sheltered in place in previous hurricanes after being told by the weather pundits the storm would be deadly, and survived somewhat unscathed. They think they’ll be fine. They won’t. They are at risk of dying. Their property is likely to be damaged severely, if not destroyed. This is a historic storm.
Good thinking. Glad you are out of it.
It looks like south of Tampa is the worst.
Santa Maria Island, gone.
Siesta Key, gone
Sarasota will likely be underwater.
Glad you’re safe. Smart decision. Blessings on the aftermath.
Thank you. Providence, wisdom, dumb luck, or whatever, we made it out early and we’re safe. Praying for folks who did not have the means to get out (it costs a lot of money to evacuate).
Good – was wondering about you.
We’re still here, but hope storm will weaken some before it gets to us.
You were smart living so close to coast and leaving early was really smart. Traffic was terrible yesterday.
The storm looks like it may still be a Cat 4 when it gets to you JR. Very worried about you. This is going to be the worst storm you’ve ever seen in the Orlando area.
Agreed. JR, please be careful.
Trying. Thank you.
Glad you’re good man. Hope your house stays in tact!
Yeah, we are hoping the damages won’t be too bad, but we know the most important piece has been taken care of. The cats are safe. Grin.
How is that with insurance stuff. Do they try and get out of paying when shit like this happens or in your experience have they been pretty good?
Honestly USAA is very good. Don’t know about other insurance carriers. One thing’s for sure, the insurance companies are about to take a beating.
Good move. Stay safe.
When’s the storm start hitting land?
I’m not sure this is said enough, but I really appreciate the free speech on this site and the very limited moderation of thoughts and comments. SBNation (Dailynorseman) was a trash site that only allowed certain viewpoints and was very unfairly biased, IMO, and I am a big fan of this place here. You guys are the Elon Musk of sports commenting sites! Thank you.
It’s all GoneFishin’s doing.
Thoughtful of you to say this.
Far too often we merely take good things for granted.
I try to get Edge censored all the time, but GF refuses to do it.
I kid I kid…Love this site.
Oh this place is definitely biased. If someone on the left said 2+2=4, this place would argue that to the bitter end that it’s not true. On the flip side, if someone on the right said 2+2=Panda Farts then this place would overwhelming support that statement as fact.
Both 2’s are evil so there should be no numbers.
HAHAHA!
That’s because folks from the right are better at arithmetic.
I bet panda farts are the Oreo cookies of animal farts.
It just makes sense.
I get the white and black connection to oreos… I still have no idea what this means… do you eat farts there Wrenage? lol
I think we need to take it a step further beyond farts and say panda poop is the Oreo cookies of animal poop.
It is similar to how unicorn poop is like Skittles.
You’ve given this far too much thought haha
I’m more of an E.L. Fudge guy.
Do they even make EL Fudge anymore?
To the Google Mobile!
Looks like they do. I seem to remember Keebler used to have elf cookies that mimicked the Oreo, but I don’t see them available anymore.
Yes. I get the double stuffed when we go camping.
Nah, just logic here.
But at least you’re allowed to disagree and argue without getting comments deleted and banhammered. That’s what goes on over there and at most other sites.
Worst Defensive grades from week 5
SAF Harrison Smith 37.9
DL Taki Taimani 43.1
DL Jihad Ward 51.7
Edge Pat Jones II 53.6
DL Jerry Tillery 54.8
grandpa Smith had a rough one
He should be drinking at least one container of Ensure each quarter to keep his vital forces at nominal levels.
His sack was the 5th fastest sack in the league so far this year though.
Worst Offensive grades from week 5
G Ed Ingram 36
QB Sam Darnold 47.9
RB Ty Chandler 48.7
G Blake Brandel 54
WR Brandon Powell 54.7
sounds about right. don’t like seeing Brandel there
ED is 82nd ranked guard in league.
RISNER!!!
Exactly.
That’s who is on deck.
Seriously, try someone else, KOC! This is part of the reason I don’t think he’s a great coach (good maybe, but it is holding him back, like cute playcalling and clock-management sometimes).
Can’t try something else if you don’t have another option. Trying for the sake of trying when you know your other option is worse would be dumb too. He might be trying to run the Daytona 500 in a stock Camaro right now, but he might only have a Kia in the shop.
As we said yesterday. Go out and get a good replacement before Chris Jones destroys our offense in the SB.
Easy enough to say, but this isn’t fantasy football. Who are you getting and at what price? Even if they’re solid now, is that player really going to be an upgrade coming into a new system mid-season?
They’ve played some pretty good DTs already and have faired well enough. No team in the NFL is without holes.
Sometimes the time is right to act. This year, in the NFC, the mighty seem to be faultering – Eagles, Niners, Cowboys,
Why not spend some future draft capital and trade for a good guard now.
Just thinking ahead when we have a real chance to get and maybe win a SB.
Yes, but who are they going to get? There’s only 31 other guys out there. Not all of them would be an improvement. Of the remainder, some have untradeable contracts. Of the rest of those, you have to find one that would fit the system and have him be on a team that is willing to deal him. So, if you want to trade for somebody, who?
I’m no GM scout type. But there must be a team, maybe not going anywhere this year, that has a good young guard that they would trade for a future draft pick (s).
I think it’s reasonable to think there could be a Vikings/Chiefs SB. And Chris Jones will destroy our IOL.
I’ve heard about who was going to destroy the IOL for the last 5 weeks and here we sit. Maybe it hasn’t been great, but it’s been good enough.
Good enough will not win the SB.
The backups are worse than the lowest-ranked G in the NFL? Maybe, but hard to verify without trying.
Under Zimmer I’d agree with you, but KOC has been more than willing to let the Rooks play if they show they deserve it.
Maybe KOC’s just not saying what Zimmer said – “I see him every day in practice.”
It’s possible, but man, we are saddled with the worst starter in the NFL and even more incapable backups? I have to think someone else has higher potential.
Someone does. We just haven’t drafted him or traded for him yet.
They’ve shored up many positions over the past couple years, we might see a higher emphasis on G next spring…….if we can find some picks somewhere.
Then again, we’ve got a lot of talent on 1-year contracts that might chase more $$ next year, so we’ll have to shore those positions up again……
They should start extending some of those guys like the Ginkster
I agree – dangle the worm while they’re still hungry and happy to be in Minny.

Since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970, only five other teams have made it through the first five weeks of the season while trailing for 4:30 or less and ALL FIVE of those teams ended up making it to the Super Bowl with three of them winning it.
Here’s a look at the list (via ESPN stats and info):
1. 2009 Saints (Trailed for zero seconds in first five weeks): Won Super Bowl
2. 1984 Dolphins (Trailed for 1:07): Lost Super Bowl
3. 2023 49ers (Trailed for 1:45): Lost Super Bowl
4. 1999 Rams (Trailed for 2:30): Won Super Bowl
5. 2024 Vikings (Trailed for 3:26): TBA
6. 1998 Broncos (Trailed for 4:23): Won Super Bowl
where is socal?!?!
#nojinx
thank you
Vikings are stat-breakers. This makes me feel even more inevitable doom. Haha
Also, can we please put an asterisk on the Saints 2009 *win, when the refs were clearing cheating hard to get them there, in addition to the bountygate stuff. I will hate them eternally for that (and Roger Goodell, and the NFL in general). Maybe the NFL will help the Vikings win one of these years, but we always seem to be fighting upstream.
Agree about Saints.
I’m not crazy about this stat. I’d rather we fell behind some and got “seasoned” during the season rather than getting tested in the fourth quarter of the NFC Championship Game.
I’d rather be dreading for the other shoe to drop, and then it never happens!
Would be great.
That really a Lebanese flag on Saleh’s sleeve and if so, why?
He is Lebanese, I believe.
This headline made me think of the old time comedian Milton Berle.
Most of you weren’t even born yet.
Looks like Bradenton to Fort Myers will be wiped off the map.
Tampa avoids the worst of it as it makes landfall just south of Tampa.
The ultimate Government Warning:
“If you are not going to evacuate, write your name on your body…..”
Every time I hear Milton I think about…
That’s one of the first Gifs that pops up when typing Milton.
No clue who or what this pertains to.
LOL
You need to watch “Office Space” and quickly! Are you in your 20s or 90s? Only way you haven’t heard of this film lol
I’m in my 60’s and have never heard of this movie.
I live a very sheltered life and was never really into going to the movies.
I will see if hulu or netflix has this movie and watch it this weekend.
We should just reply to DE in only Office Space gif responses until he watched lol.
LOL….
I’m now kind of getting the sense that this movie was the brainchild of the TV series The Office.
Just a wild ass guess though.
Nope, predates it I believe.
Ok.
The movie says 1999.
The Office was from 2004 to 2013
I think of Milton “Burl”
Uncle Milty!
So, wife and I going to Minneapolis next weekend with my cousin and his wife. My cousin and wife through a friend of his just scored lower level seats through a friend of his for $175. They were trying to be all nice like they weren’t gonna take that opportunity since there weren’t seats for us… We were like, screw that! Take the seats! So this brings me to a series of questions…
i knew it was ben who posted this thread when i saw the music selection.
i realize his name is above that but i normally don’t care to look
I always look
you’re a better man than me, pete
it was meant to sound a little fruity

Good morning, SKOL!

Happy Hump Day!
This is the hump week of the year for me. Corn harvest is going into full swing. If I can make it though this week, then harvest work will start going down hill. By November, I will only have to deal with regular life again. Gotta jump that hump…
if there is anyone who can hop, skip, or jump over that hump….my money is on you, Wren
This is the week I just go into autopilot mode, but it is more doable now that nephews are out helping. It is fun to work with the younger generation. It puts a different spin on it.
Stay strong.
I will fall in love with my bed this week.
DVOA power rankings:
1 MIN
2 BAL
3 KCC
4 NO*
5 DET
6 BUF
7 HOU
8 SEA
9 SFO
10 WAS
Minnesota has the best defense by far. 2nd best is the Chargers, whose offense and special teams can’t do enough to keep the team’s head above water.
DET has the best offense Minnesota will have faced so far (aside from GB apparently, but perhaps Love’s poor first half on Sunday was to the Viking’s benefit)
This defense is for real. Must be considering the way they dominated games so far, and if even the DVOA guys (Do Vikings Over-Achieve?) are thinking that our defense is this good, it must be true.
Hope the injury bug has no plans to bite us anytime soon (obligatory #nojinx), if we manage to stay somewhat healthy this team can go very far this year.
The offense certainly has shown some vulnerabilities the last few weeks, albeit against good teams. If the defense stays healthy, the team should win most of its remaining games, so long as the offense doesn’t devolve any further. Hopefully RB1 is healthy and TE1 comes back and sticks around.
Oh, and hopefully the OL stays at least as good as it has been so far
Happy Hump Day!
